It was close where I needed to be, and The room was clean, and adequate the rate was reasonable for that area. However there was an advantage, and disadvantage being right by the highway for entrance , and exit.
It was adequate. The first room they gave me was next to the elevator and I could hear it whenever it was being used. Got moved to a second room thankfully. Check in staff member just didn’t care about anything but the second staff member that moved me was personable.
Timing is everything. My mom has stage 4 cancer living in Montclair NJ. My partner and I drove down from Boston and found this establishment 15 minutes away from her residence. Exhausted from the full day and looking forward to some much needed rest for the both of us to be awaken by mental hall ward noised for the next hour plus. Couldnt go back to sleep, caused me to begin working. Also, due to Covid we couldnt use the gym , pool or continental breakfast. So, most of the amenities are not available. I take this is the way it will be for a WHILE -PAY FOR OR USE POINTS FOR SERVICES THAT WILL NOT RENDERED. :( .

It's a clean, mid-range level place to stay overnight. Some inconsistencies in the rooms, so ask ahead for anything you might need (such as a microwave). Pool hours are inconsistent.
Nothing the place smells like wet carpet. The only thing that was good was the cleaning lady was nice .the rest was really disappointing. Ive been in different la Quinta and none was as bad as this one
Hotel was close to shopping and Nickelodeon Universe. I did enjoy the breakfast but they should offer non pork products.
Great location for easy access to NYC and North Jersey. Clifton has wonderful restaurants and cool neighborhoods. Botany Village in Clifton has some great restaurants. Next to the hotel is a shopping center with a movie theater, Target, Applebee's, Barnes and Nobles, and Red Robin's.
Workers were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy
We booked this property specifically because of the pool. The pool water was cloudy and there was construction material on the pool deck. I was not comfortable with my kids swimming in that water.
I like the pool and I didn't understand why the sodas chips icecream etc are so over priced

Staff was poor and unattentive. When I went to check in, a busload of foreign students came in to check in. There was only one staff member and she took care of there entire party while allowing me and 3 over tired children to stand there after 11 PM. The awake, energized teenagers would not have been put out for one 2 minute check in. When a second front desk staff member came out, he chose to deal with a few people who had just walked in, rather than acknowledging that we had waited in line over 30 minutes'
It is an ok hotel to stay near the airport when having a connection
