The only thing we did not like was the bathroom door was making a lot noise every time we open and/or close it. A little annoying at night.

Gorgeous hotel on the first two floors! The hotel rooms aren’t of the same quality or finish! Simple amenities in the room could make for a better stay. Like a towel rack in the bathroom. A mini fridge. A knob on a light switch, a faucet that was just hanging on! The staff was friendly and very accommodating! The pool area was nice too!
Room was small. Bed was uncomfortable. Outdated bathroom. No coffee maker or fridge in room. Loud music at the pool.

What kind of hotel doesn't offer breakfast? Sorry, breakfast sandwiches don't cut it, but a real breakfast in a dining room, and not in the tacky completely unattractive so-called cafe. I have never seen anything like this in a hotel this size.
Comfortable beds, quiet room. Lots of space and natural light. It would be nice to have a refrigerator and coffeemaker in the room.
So happy with my stay at the Berkeley oceanfront. check in was quick and friendly. We were upgraded to an oceanfront view. All the staff was super friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was a fun pool environment. Great in-hotel shopping and food options. I would definitely stay here again.
