Great location

Overall we had a decent stay at this property. The pros are that the rooms are very large and comfortable, and the hotel is right in the heart of Palm Springs. 10/10 for location. The biggest con was the service. I called the morning of our checkin to see whether early checkin would be possible and was told that they were full the previous night and didn't have anything available yet, but to check in at 12pm to 1pm and they would very likely have a room. I showed up around 1pm and asked about this, and was told that they would text me when the room was ready. I asked whether they had an estimated time and they said no. I waited about 1.5 hours before going back to check in and received a rude reply. They eventually texted me at 4:20pm to say a room was ready (checkin is at 4pm according to the hotel). Lated that evening I called the front desk to ask whether there was room service and they said no. I asked whether they recommend anywhere to go to or order delivery from, and the desk agent was really confused. Eventually she told me she couldn't think of anywhere. Overall I felt like the staff was unhelpful, either unintentionally or even intentionally. There were two gates to access the pool. One of the gates to the pool had a padlock on it, presumably because it was broken. The pool was also totally deserted, unlike many hotels in PS that have a lively crowd.

The bathtub faucet was leaking when we walked into the hotel and we couldn't fix it, so it just leaked all night.

The sofa in my room was old, dirty, and dent in/ worn down on one side where you sat. Cabana I rented was also dirty, had hair and dark stains everywhere. Pool water looked a bit cloudy. The bathroom mirrors in my room looked like they were wiped down with a dirty towel, smudge marks everywhere. Won’t stay there again.

I loved that the property was very central. Great location. However, I had originally chosen the Hyatt for the simple being that most Hyatt’s are comfortable and clean. This one is not. We stayed here with my 9 month old and I was refinery concerned about the cleanliness. The tub had a black ring around it. The sheets smelled the sweat. Not to mention it was the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Not relaxing at all. And the pool area was okay but not very clean. The hotel lobby is beautiful and modern but the rooms are not at all. They are outdated and dirty. The worst part was the cleanliness and the lumpy old mattress with smelly sheets. The best part was the staff was so sweet and the hotel is very conveniently located.

being in Palm Springs with a view of the mountains was nice. The property is run down, the sofa and ottoman in the front room were stained and dirty. The HVAC didn't work. Rooms in need of refurbishment.

PROPRTY IS OLD AND IN NEED OF AN UPDATE. BEDDING IS LIMITED AND PILLOWS ARE HORRIBLE. POOL SHOULD BE HEATED HIGHER SINCE SPA IS EMPTY DUE TO COVID. $18 A DAY FOR PARKING IS ROBBERY. MOST OF THE HOTELS DO NOT CHARGE FOR PARKIG. NO VALET DUE TO COVID.

Location can’t be beat but the property could use some updating

For a Hyatt property, I was disappointed how dirty and unkept this location was. The furniture old and dingy, the pool was disgusting. Only thing nice I can say was the room was big with a nice view and the bed was nice and comfortable.
