LV307 Town Home with 3 Bedroom Suites and Direct Mountain Views

A two story town home in a mountain cove at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Enjoy direct mountain views from every room in the house. A spacious living and dining room features a flat screen TV, a couch and chairs and a dining table seating four. The full kitchen opens to the great room. It a has every major appliance; a gas range/oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker. A breakfast bar adjacent to the dining area has two additional high top chairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, two large closets and en-suite bathroom featuring two vanities, a soaking tub, shower and water closet. A second downstairs suite has a queen bed and queen pull-out sofa providing a variety of sleeping options. The downstairs guest bedroom also has a TV, closet and en-suite bathroom. The upstairs suite offers a secluded living area with a queen bed, dresser, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. The back patio features additional outdoor seating, an electric grill and unobstructed mountain views. The property also has a laundry room and two car garage. Additional street parking is available a short-walk from the property. A satellite community pool and spa is less than a couple hundred feet away in either direction and the primary kids pool, lap pool, clubhouse and fitness center are a five minute walk. You won't find a better property or location in Legacy Villas.

The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbecue. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions.

La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's Humana Challenge is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. The BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament is hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every March; only a 10-15 minute drive from a majority of our properties in the city. We have stayed at a few different villas on this property but really enjoy the two level layout and being backup up to the hills. It was a great spot. The previous guests used a lot of dishes and then put them away dirty, so it was frustrating coming in to a place that didn’t seem clean. We called the property rental company and they sent a cleaning crew out right away to make sure everything was cleaned for us. Would stay here again!

The condo overall is fantastic & in a great location. The layout is wonderful with everything you need; backs up to the hills so it has a lot more privacy than most. My only wish is that extra bedding & blankets were provided. There was a pullout but only sheets for it and no extra blankets for other beds of people who were cold. The couch could have used a better cleaning as under the cushions seemed a bit messy; we had one guest sleep on the couch & that’s the only reason we knew that. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

Hone away from home.
We love this townhome! This was our second time staying in the unit and have stayed in the complex for several years. We always feel like we are at home. The unit is aesthetically pleasing and had everything we needed for our stay. The oven and ice maker were not working while we were there, but it’s my understanding that is a work in progress. We purchased bags of ice and kept them in the freezer. So there is a work around. We look forward to staying there again.

Disappointing
I hate to write a negative review because I've stayed at this property for the last 3 years and have had no issues, however, this year's stay was very disappointing. Upon arrival I was given such a difficult time to enter the property. The security guard at the front gate had been given no reservation under my name and I was asked the leave the gate several times. I circled the gate for at least 30 minutes as they kept telling me there was no reservation under my name. I called the rental company and after much back and forth I was finally able to get in. When I arrived at the property there were dirty mugs left on the porch we had to take them inside and wash them so we could use them. I brought a lot of food with me because I was hosting a women's retreat and it wasn't long before we discovered that the fridge wasn't getting cold. I reached out to the rental company once again via text to ask if there was something we could do to fix the issue and what we got was radio silence - no response, so we had to transfer all the food to the freezer so it wouldn't spoil. The next day we had a huge dinner planned and an arts and crafts project that both required use of the oven. In the morning we discovered that the oven was not working...which was not made known to us prior to booking or else we would have never booked this house to begin with as we really needed to have an oven. This really messed things up as we had 2 main dishes that required baking. When I reached out to the rental company about the issue the best they could do is offer a later check out (3pm) to be exact...which to me was not helpful after all the setbacks we were faced with throughout the weekend. This stay was very disappointing.

The facilities are lovely, peaceful and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the unit is very clean and so is the whole development, it's so enjoyable to walk around the grounds.

The property was just as pictured. Spacious and the furniture was in great shape. The bathrooms were clean. The downstairs floor were a bit dusty in some places, but it was hardwood downstairs. Other than that overall a great place and we had a great stay.

Good location but needs more care
We arrived to a broken air conditioner, most of the lights didn't have lightbulbs in them and where unplugged, ice maker didn't work, and the electric BBQ on the patio didn't work because the GFI outlet was broken. The patio furniture could use replacing (ripped cushions).The kitchen was not organized well, things scattered all over the place, seemed weird for a rental. The management company was very quick to respond and help, only problem was we had to take time out of our vacation to wait for repair person to show up. All the furniture was very comfortable including the beds. The place is bigger than it appears in the photos and has a nice private patio. We love this complex and it's location, and it's the 3rd time we've stayed there, but I wouldn't rent this unit again, there are many others to choose from.
