Room was gross and unclean. Had a woman sleeping in lobby all 3 nights.

The rooms are tiny, dirty, and loud, and the bathrooms were unclean. If your only concern spending as little as possible for a spot to lay down, then this place is for you. If you want to sleep well or hang out in your room, look elsewhere. This should not really be called a "hotel".

It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. No sound proofing, so if other guests are not considerate, hard to sleep

This hotel was quite bare-bones, but it got the job done. Checking in was fine, and I never had any problems with the front desk staff. However, the room was quite lackluster and the bathroom was disgusting. Hair and garbage everywhere. The bed did not have a sheet, just a comforter with stains and many loose threads. Walls were paper thin and I could hear my neighbors crystal clear well into the night when I was trying to sleep. I wasn't planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel, so it worked out, but I definitely didn't get as much sleep as I would have in a better environment.

There were bed bugs everywhere. This hotel is infested with them. The management is completely aware and seems to want to do nothing. Do not stay here. It is not worth it!

It's really more like a youth hostel (as the price indicates), it's just a place to rest in a private space. Bed was clean, probably the most important thing. There's no real generalized vent system for the cheaper single rooms with shared bathroom, so you hear everything since the rooms don't go up to the ceilings and just have open vents on top. Bring noise cancelling headphones, or construction-grade ear protection! Water also was being cut off in the morning and we weren't told when we checked in, so there were a lot of bummed out people in the morning. For the price in NY, I wasn't surprised about any of it.

I checked in around 10 pm thinking okay it’s not going to be the cleanest but at least I haven read any reviews on bugs and it was a safe safe neighborhood. Well I was wrong.... I go to sleep around maybe 12:30am and wake up 30 min later to something crawling on me I scrambled up off the bed and threw on my clothes faster than ever before. That’s when I saw a baby bed bug I started to panic so I started searching again wasn’t two seconds I found a full grown adult bedbug crawling up the wood on the door right next to where my head was. Eww gross. In total I only found three in the short time I was there.

This is not even a hotel I wouldn’t even want a roach or rat to stay there Please do not recommend of office this to people for them to stay.

I've been bitten by 3 bed bugs in room 502. Previously I switched from room 511 because of 3 roaches. The hotel MUST make cleanliness TOP 1priority! RE: BED BUGS - because there were only 3 ..its possible they were brought in by a guest. The hotel does have a lot of migrant traveller types who stay at budget hotels worldwide. The hotel should SPRAY every room every day with a simple can of bug spray. Would make a big difference!

Slept with every item of clothing on that I brought, including hat and coat, still freezing cold. Also room and bathrooms disgusting. Location is good tho.

This Hotel it's not worth the Price. rooms without a window. Dirty, Damages (Shower, Bed...) Bugs and Insects on the romm. The only good Thing I can tell is it is near by all Locations of interest in NYC. Never again

the rooms with no bathroom are not good for a couple. single person who sleeps with others tv on and is on a budget may be ok with this place. the rooms with a bathroom are much better. the dorm rooms will be tough on anyone whos never stayed in a hostel. id return because im familiar with hostels.

No elevator. Had to take my bags to fifth floor. No bed bugs though. Guests were quiet. Staff stuck at front desk. Shared bathrooms totally a mess, shower doors falling apart. Two bathrooms for maybe 15 rooms. You get what you pay for.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible. Terrible. Absolutely Terrible.

I couldn't sleep throughout the night. It was a miserable experience. There were roaches everywhere. The shower was unusable. The shower was clogged with roaches, hair and vomit. Place is unhabitable and should be closed down.

Dirty, small, uncomfortable and poor service. Over priced for that crap. Dirty bathroom.

some noises in the room from others rooms, the rooms are a little small but its ok for a 1 star hotel.
