The room was small ,no window or ventilation..The sheets was nasty.there was small flies in the room.Overall disgusting...Left that place..Checked in another hotel ...

This property is very disappointing. The amenities were not to be considered. The blankets were not washed. It had fallen hair of the previous customers. The bed used to make weird sounds. TV's remote battery was not working. To change the channel we had to go near TV to change it. AC vent was broken and they have centralized AC on which you don't have control. Very interestingly they don't have elevator and when asked they said we promote exercise. Also not to forget their stairs were very steep.

Very small but comfortable room. (Room with private bathroom). Cleanness could be better. Good shower pressure. The room could be painted. Staff was friendly. Very well located (buses, subways all around). It was a very simple room, nothing fancy.

Really works for my Hotel travel budget between San Francisco and New York and London

If u r an experienced world traveler then u know what a gr8 value this hotel is. If they paint the rooms brght colours and really clean the joint - no reason they can't charge what Bowery guest house does! At present it's best they stay at 40-50 per room

Thatcis not a hotel by any means that is a prison, actually i think a prison is far better than this. Overflowing toilets, cubicles not rooms, I barely fit there

Room was gross and unclean. Had a woman sleeping in lobby all 3 nights.

The rooms are tiny, dirty, and loud, and the bathrooms were unclean. If your only concern spending as little as possible for a spot to lay down, then this place is for you. If you want to sleep well or hang out in your room, look elsewhere. This should not really be called a "hotel".

It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. No sound proofing, so if other guests are not considerate, hard to sleep

There were bed bugs everywhere. This hotel is infested with them. The management is completely aware and seems to want to do nothing. Do not stay here. It is not worth it!

It's really more like a youth hostel (as the price indicates), it's just a place to rest in a private space. Bed was clean, probably the most important thing. There's no real generalized vent system for the cheaper single rooms with shared bathroom, so you hear everything since the rooms don't go up to the ceilings and just have open vents on top. Bring noise cancelling headphones, or construction-grade ear protection! Water also was being cut off in the morning and we weren't told when we checked in, so there were a lot of bummed out people in the morning. For the price in NY, I wasn't surprised about any of it.

I checked in around 10 pm thinking okay it’s not going to be the cleanest but at least I haven read any reviews on bugs and it was a safe safe neighborhood. Well I was wrong.... I go to sleep around maybe 12:30am and wake up 30 min later to something crawling on me I scrambled up off the bed and threw on my clothes faster than ever before. That’s when I saw a baby bed bug I started to panic so I started searching again wasn’t two seconds I found a full grown adult bedbug crawling up the wood on the door right next to where my head was. Eww gross. In total I only found three in the short time I was there.

This is not even a hotel I wouldn’t even want a roach or rat to stay there Please do not recommend of office this to people for them to stay.

I've been bitten by 3 bed bugs in room 502. Previously I switched from room 511 because of 3 roaches. The hotel MUST make cleanliness TOP 1priority! RE: BED BUGS - because there were only 3 ..its possible they were brought in by a guest. The hotel does have a lot of migrant traveller types who stay at budget hotels worldwide. The hotel should SPRAY every room every day with a simple can of bug spray. Would make a big difference!
