If you want a 5 star hotel, this isn't it. Room was small but not the typical tiny shoebox at some budget Midtown hotels. Room and bath were spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, staff was pleasant. Except for a couple of inoperative buttons on the TV remote, everything worked. There was a useful refrigerator and safe too. Location in Midtown is great. One negative was the lack of storage space as there was no closet, only a row of hooks on the wall and just three hangers plus a bit of open shelving. There's a very small desk but the chair is basically a hard stool with almost no back support. Even a cheap but decent desk chair would be a big help. My only other issue was that the room got a bit cool with outside temperatures at or below freezing. Hot water was plentiful though. All told if you just need a clean place to sleep in Midtown this is a pretty good choice especially if it's not the dead of winter.

Room needed cleaning but after informing desk, it was cleaned right away, plenty of towels daily, bed was very comfortable. It’s definitely not a fancy hotel but it was convenient, and served our purpose of a low expense for a place to sleep and shower, would definitely stay there again.

Walking distance to the shows and Time Square. Great location. Friendly staff comfy bed. Very great experience would stay again.

The staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel was decent for the cost, and everything was amazingly close. A lot of food options and store options near by. If you can’t take the heat, and you’re visiting in the summer, you might need to buy a fan because the circulation in the rooms is garbage. I would stay again. It was perfect for a place to sleep and convenience.

Smallest elevator I've ever seen. Room is small, but hotel's location is perfect. Wifi signal is poor. Hotel staff is excellent.

Great hotel, well located and great staff. I highly would recommended to a friend.

Bare bones very small room, no nightstand, no drawers at all, tiny desk with metal chair but roomy bathroom and very clean and in a great NYC location. Beds were basically very durable cots but comfortable. No cable TV, only network channels. If you only want to sleep there, it's an affordable place at a good location. Helpful staff too.

Was good stay. Only "complaint" was the tv. Barely any channels, but wouldn't keep from staying there again. Wasn't in the room that much so it worked! Great location.

My son and his wife and daughter, my daughter and her daughter, and myself- came to Nee York for the Macy parade. Another granddaughter was dancing so we decided to make it a fun time together- saw plays - EXCELLENT! Empire State Building- Statue of Liberty - subway ride-bicycle taxi ride and Times Square - the location of this hotel was five as we were able to see the fabric shops- my passion! Was unable to rate due to some glitch but the hotel was clean, quiet and met our needs- a great trip!!!!

Hotel is in a safe location close to Times Square and lots of restaurants. It’s small and simple. Perfect for people who will spend most of their time out in the city. Good deal. Save on the hotel and spend your money elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay. Only used the room to sleep in. Very close to Time Square, Madison Square Garden, and 5th Avenue.

Great location , staff is very friendly and helpful !

Nice location of the hotel, my room however was not very clean and I could feel smell of cigarettes coming from next room. No windows and poor air cerculation in the room.

My daughter and I took a two night, three day visit to NYC and were very pleased with this hotel. It's location was perfect for the things we wanted to do, the staff was always friendly, helpful and available, and everything was clean. It was the smallest hotel room I'd ever seen but it held the two twin beds we wanted, and the bathroom was not tiny. There was nothing fancy or extra, but the room was quiet, the beds comfortable, and I have no complaints.

I reserve a room but when I arrived I found that it is small room with small bed, it can not take two people.

I must say I was a little shocked on how small everything was. A+ effort on turning that little space into a hotel. The pictures doesn't' do it justice I barely fit into the elevator with my backpack and no other passengers could have fit in there with me. The room itself was nice just enough room for the full-size bed which I found very comfortable with the exception of the three hard pillows I was forced to settle with. The neighboring guest woke me up at 10:44pm after they checked in. They got into a fight immediately on arrival to their room and the women got put out the room. They argued all night until I called management to come settle the dispute. Overall with the with the exception of the noisy guests I did have a nice stay and despite of it all everything worked out. It was located near several great deli's and restaurants. I'd recommend this hotel because of the price and I would stay there again only for a short stay as well

Run away as fast as you can from this hotel. Terrible experience, unsafe, not clean, smells bad.

Tiny, funky smell, uncomfortable beds and pillows... But worth it for the convenience!

I knew from the amount of stars that this hotel already had, that it wouldn't be great. The room was small but pretty clean. It was tiled throughout, which was a good thing in terms of cleanliness I guess. The hallway was tiled too, which made the comings and goings of the comic-con convention guest really loud. To be fair, the guests weren't trying to be quiet or respectful. In the bathroom, it took a long time for the water to get warm, the water pressure was low and there were obvious repairs needed to several of the fixtures. The bed was comfortable though.

Hello and good morning we at the hotel will like to thank you so much for staying with us. The housekeeping staff and front desk agents do take pride in their job and reviews like this are really appreciated. Also, we do we welcome criticisms as we use that to improve. We will take note of both the remote issue and the lack of space. As this is a boutique hotel we are pressed for space, we are currently renovating the entire hotel and will take the storage issue into extreme consideration. Thank you again we hope to see you in the future
