This was our 2nd year staying here...it's convenient, easy check in/out, and they hold your luggage on the front or back ends of your stays. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room was not as described, it’s very small, very dirty and poorly run. I can’t believe Expedia allow this hotel to be on their website. I also can’t believe that anyone has given this hotel 10 out of 10, in my opinion the reviews are made up.
2 days, from 7.30 am workmen working outside the window.
Air conditioning that’s old, noisy and blows directly onto the bed
This pillow was typical of all of the pillows and needs to be burned.

Value for money

Value for money hotel. No frills, but clean and safe. About 2 blocks from the Empirecstate bldg. Very near the subway station. A lotbof food trucks nearby.

The room was semi-clean and in a great location. However, a smoke detector beeped most of the night, keeping me awake. The hotel says they have 24 hour reception, but they do not. They simply have a security guard on duty who cannot help with building maintenance or guest issues.

The room was in terrible condition. When we arrived, we immediately noticed several strands of hair on the linens, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The pillows had yellow stains, and the bathroom had mold and a strong mildew odor. To make matters worse, we saw roaches crawling near the sink. We ended up leaving the room at 1 a.m. because we couldn’t even stay for a full night. When we went to drop off the keys at the front desk, the staff member on duty had bloodshot red eyes. After we explained everything that had happened, he didn’t ask any questions or seem concerned—he just continued scrolling on his phone. I reached out to the hotel afterward and was told they are still deciding on what to do, but I haven’t heard back from them since.

Would Stay Again

Stayed with 2 friends and loved it. They kept our bags before and after we checked in/out, which was a huge bonus. We were a little worried when our room was next to the elevator but we didn’t hear it. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s a small space, so there are no chairs to sit but the beds were comfortable. We appreciate the fridge, microwave and dishes. Henry was phenomenal with communication- including how long water might take to warm up, etc. I would stay here again with my friends and family.
