Cute hotel, we were actually in the building next door which was like our own little apartment on the backside of the building room 307 on the third floor. Do need to walk up several flights of stairs but that was fine for us. Room was very clean, serviced each day, you get breakfast right next door in restaurant which was nice. Great location, many restaurants, easy to get to Times Square, Rockefeller center, Central Park and more.

The hotel is small but really cozy. The terrace is gorgeous and offers an amazing view of the vibrant city. There are plenty of bars and restaurants all around

Nice location.The smell of the room was great! The room was clean. The bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was great! The rooftop view was great! The cons were the hallway commercial carpets in the common areas don’t seem to get vacuumed daily or the vacuum used is not properly picking up particles on the carpet because it’s very noticeable. At first I was afraid the room was dirty as well but the room was very clean. The living room faucet appears to be a bit loose and the hot and cold water are reversed. Hot is always on the left and cold on the right.

When I'm ready to come back to NYC, I will return to Hotel Scherman! It was quiet but right in the heart of everything we came for. The staff was delightful. The room was spotless, comfortable, and did I mention how quiet it was? I was so impressed and happy with our experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The service was truly wonderful, and the location was perfect for both relaxation and exploring. There were just two small areas that could use a little attention: the mattress was a quite firm, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. We were here on vacation, but my husband also had a few work tasks to take care of, so a stronger connection would have been helpful. That said, everything else exceeded our expectations, and we genuinely enjoyed our time here. We would happily return and recommend it to others!

I stay here often when I’m in NYC and I LOVE the room decor, size and cleanliness. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel and you can’t beat the location on restaurant row. Always buzzing with activity because of the many restaurant options but you can’t hear any street noise in the room. The free breakfast has many nice options to start your day!
