We truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was excellent, hotel rooms are oddly spacious for NY and well designed with marble bathrooms and great views of the city.

This hotel is a 10 min walk from Times Square so a lot less noisy/chaotic. The staff at the hotel are friendly and approachable. Although the rooms are small (by Texas standards), the space is maximized. Everything in the room is clean. You have easy access to the subway. If you want a place that's reasonably priced and experience a bit more of a residential environment, this is a great hotel for you.

This hotel has location going for it. The big negatives are no fitness center, no real restaurant or bar. I would consider it when coming to town for a concert at MSG if I could get a great rate.

My experience was good and I would most definitely come back on my next visit to NY. The hotel was quaint, quite, and designed for a mature clientele. The staff were all professional and accommodating.

Good location but hotel is getting a little worn.

The combination of horrible outdated furniture, annoying loud bad music and lack of cleaness makes the breakfast experience unforgettable in a very bad way. In addition, the elevator broke twice in three days...

Great location.. Great service, truly good to recomend to friends and family.

The hotel location is great and that's about it. I didn't sleep at all due to construction at 3am!! The windows in the hotel are not sound proof at all. Service was mediocre. Amenities non existent. Would not stay here again.

Flatiron was very nice. My only 2 issues where there was no space to place our bags besides the floor. No dresser, table, foot bench, etc. and, they wanted an additional $150 deposit once we arrived, even though our whole week was paid in full in advance.

I was travelling alone on business, so it was perfect for me. Great location. Lobby lounge was lively fun, with a jazz trio. Everyone was really nice. Room was small, but well appointed. Could have been a bit cleaner, but nothing too bad. However, this is not a place to take your kids. Best description is Modern Bordello. Take your wife/gf and have a blast, but leave the kiddos at home. Disneyland this is not. )

We were on a business trip and stayed for 2 nights. We go there early and while we couldn't check in, they took our bags and held them while we went to a meeting. Upon our return to check in, the guy at the desk remember our names when we got back and had our bags waiting for us. My room wasn't ready yet, so they comp'd us three drinks (one for each person I was with). Very polite, courteous and even the next day, greeted me by name when they saw me. The location was great, accessible to everything we needed and just a short walk to Times Square. Definitely would recommend it to anyone!

Great service, smooth checkin Stayed here few times and its the most comvenient location for all my meetings. It is close to transportation and entertainment Would deffinately reccommend this hotel to others to stay

The room was small but did have upscale touches. Great location.

It's a little beat up which adds to the character of the hotel. Super clean and spacious room. Location was great for where we needed to be but a little off the beaten path if just in town sightseeing. The staff will more than make up for the inconvenient location though. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Oz at the front desk!!! Couldn't have been more friendly or helpful if he tried !!!! Will definitely be staying there next time I'm in town.

I only stayed one night as I was in town for business, but the hotel was across the street from a Starbucks and had plenty of places nearby to eat. It is close to both Penn Station and our NYC office. Will use again in the future.

I expected more for the price Always noisy and bar area never free to guests

Very noisey even though we were on the ninth floor. No breakfast or lunch facilities.

This was our first time staying overnight in New York City and as such we were unsure of what to expect. I can say with certainty that the Flatiron hotel was more than we could've expected. It's convenient location made travel within the city a breeze, its an easy walk to many popular locations and has convenient access to several subway stations for longer distances within the city. The room itself had a lot of fancy gadgets like electric curtains and a television in the bathroom which were icing on the cake for my girlfriend and myself. The staff at the Flatiron were more than welcoming and made every attempt to help us enjoy our stay in the city. The room was very clean, the bathroom immaculate and the shower was to die for. Plenty of hot water, pressure, and there were 6 jets in the wall in addition to the one in the ceiling. My girlfriend suffers from nerve damage in her hips and lower back, but said the shower alleviated all discomfort almost instantly. We had read several reviews about the noisy nightclub in the lobby, and we stayed on the fourth floor and were unable to hear any noise at all once our door was closed and barely any noise in the hallway itself. The neighborhood was nice and quiet at night also, nothing to disturb us while we slept, and we're light sleepers so that was a blessing to find.

The free in room internet was down for my two day stay. I was charged for using the mini bar which I didn't even touch (they kindly gave me a refund. The bathroom and shower were quite cramped. Location however was convenient.

I really like this hotel The rooms were big enough and they were very updated The shower was terrific and I like the TV in the mirror in the bathroom I would highly recommend this hotel
