Blink and you’ll miss it. Check in is contactless and all digital. No elevator-you must take the stairs. Place is great. Simple yet clean and no fuss. Inexpensive in a great/convenient location.

Nice clean room, good neighborhood. Subway stops, restaurants, movie theater in walking distance.

This was a great price and a safe, quiet location.

The room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were up to date. The bathroom was clean and freshly remodeled. The entryway and stairs were in need of some sprucing up, but it wasn't a big deal to me. The check-in was contactless, so there was no need for interaction with staff.

Great hotel with a great location. The only complaint I have is the noise. I cannot recommend the first floor of this hotel for those looking to get a good night's sleep. I was awoken every morning at 3:30am by metal clanging outside my room from the adjacent photo equipment rental business.

The staff was very friendly and the neighborhood was quiet by New York standards. However, the tradeoff is being farther away from many of the main tourist attractions.

The location of this property is EXCELLENT! I strongly recommend staying here while visiting NYC. Be advised that there is no elevator in the 5-floor hotel, so you will get plenty of exercise during your stay!

A clean, safe, no thrills hotel in a superb location. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will happily stay here again. Guests should know in advance that there is no elevator.

Everything you want and nothing you don't for one or two people who just want a place to sleep peacefully! Great for savvy traveling singles or couples who don't need the Holiday Inn free breakfast, pool, etc....and close to the awesome food and night life of the West Village. Great base for a NYC trip!

Rooms are small but clean. Subway is just a block away.

Great value for the price. I will definitely stay here again. Check in was quick and painless. Jallow was very nice and welcoming. Any time I passed workers in the halls they always smiled and said Hi. The room was spotless, very cute, and not a bad size for NYC. There is a 24/7 free Hospitality Lounge in the lobby. There are snacks (fresh mini muffins, crackers, granola bars) and a coffee / tea. There’s a computer and printer you can use. The room has a safe, iron, and ceiling fan. The bathroom has fairly fluffy towels, hairdryer, hair/body wash on wall in shower, plus hand/body moisturizer and liquid hand soap on wall near the sink. There is a larger flat screen TV and a nice-sized wardrobe. One complaint but not the end of the world - toilet paper awkwardly placed. Banged elbow getting it and need to bend/twist a bit to reach it and I’m not very big. Space is at a premium in NYC. I had a single room with a private bath. I didn’t like the front desk is in back of the building. Anyone can walk in and go right up the stairs. They said not to be concerned. They do lock the front door and have a doorbell. You do hear your neighbors but It is to be expected as this feels more like a B&B rather than a hotel. There’s no light or light switch near the bed. The WiFi was spotty and slow. It didn’t work near the window. It worked much better in the lounge on the 1st floor. This is a walk-up. There’s no elevator. I think they will help with luggage. Grace was so sweet at checkout.
