Rude staff, they try to charge $50 if arriving within under 1 hour of checkin, shower doesn’t work, lamp out, stains on rug, way too expensive for what you’re getting. Avoid at all costs!
If you weren't looking for it, you'd definitely miss it. Looking from the outside, it looks like one of those shifty hourly hotels haha. But location is great, it was clean, and much more affordable than other places. It smells like cigarettes when you first walk into the room. You're gonna have to make your own bed because the top sheet and blanket are just folded and laid on top of the bed. The workers don't seem to know much about the area, so do your own research. Overall, great walkability and clean.
We truely felt like traveling college students. You get what you pay for. 2 beds, not headborads, hot running water & clean towels. However on another note, the staff was always super nice & helpfull.
My room was not as it was pictured in the advertisement. There was not even a chair in the room to sit on. It was a simple bed with no headboard. The towels were minimal, a hand towel and about towel no washcloth.
Absolutely awful service and room. Ordered a king size bed, was told to just push two twins together. Room was gross. Couldn’t even stay the full night, checked out at 1am
This property was horrible never again , wet sheets and blankets , elevator out of service , staff rude
It he price was pretty low so therefore so were my expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean. It was not cramped. Bathroom in room with soap. Heater worked well. It is so close to B, D and F trains. Short walk into East Village, SOHO, Tribeca. I was very happy.
One of the people staying in my shared mixed room did not look out for her own hygiene, AT ALL.
It was an ok experience and I would go back.again. it is close to some great places to eat.
good location and price for new york everything is perfect for the price
Dormitory rooms was unique to me but we stayed in a private room, small but very clean!
Do yourself a favor and don't stay there. The rules in this place are ridiculous. You can't keep your belongings in your room. You must keep then by the lobby in this dirty room with mattresses and cleaning supplies everywhere. You cannot use your phone pass 9pm. Worst experience in my life.
Excellent base of operations in and around "Chinatown" in general and Canal Street in particular.
