I will ALWAYS stay at Arlo SoHo when I'm in NYC. The complimentary Happy Hour was a FANTASTIC and unexpected surprise. I love everything about this place!

This hotel is walkable to a few yoga studios in the area. The traffic outside the hotel is a bit hard to navigate, but this was my first time being in Manhattan. I loved my room on the 8th floor. I had a great veiw in my city veiw queen sized room. Yes it was small, but PERFECT for the solo traveller. Room was cleaned everday during my stay. Great hot shower. Uh pon entering the hotel there is an aroma that pours through the vents. I came to love it during my stay here. Watch out for the urban fees, they took me by surprise. Can't complain though, staying here was definitely worth it. Rooftop lounge, bar, and other community areas are very nice.

Amazing hotel. I loved the service and the room. Would recommend!

great hotel but wasn't given a room with view. staff was great and friendly. helpful and responsive as well

Great helpful and accommodating staff..comfy rooms..overall a great stay. Would come back again fursure.

I intend to stay there again when I am in the city.

SMALL! One person is ok, but two ppl. is crowded. This is a 20 something's hotel

Amazing, cozy hotel. Fun and funky. We WILL be back.

I really wanted to like this place. I've stayed at a lot of boutique hotels in NYC so I was expecting a small room, but this room really pushed the limits. The bed literally ran from one wall to the other so that one had to use wall controls to raise and lower the sheer and blackout shades on the courtyard-facing window. That part was actually ok. What was not ok was the sink and shower situation. The bathroom and shower were to the left as you enter the room. The problem was that the shower stall had a curtain that one had to fasten using a peg (a bit like buttoning a shirt) instead of a door. Every time I took a shower the entire floor area between the shower and toilet got soaked. The sink was on the right wall as one enters and one had to turn to grab a towel so washing up resulted in more water on the floor (which was the main passageway). The design results in the room getting damp, which is likely why my room didn't smell very good when I checked in. I was also a bit disappointed by the location. I love walking around and covered 8-10 miles a day but got very tired of navigating the Holland Tunnel traffic and honking every time I wanted to hit the town. I knew the location before I booked, just wasn't thinking things through. Lastly, there's a rootop bar and groundfloor outdoor courtyard off the ground floor bar which means you get ambient party noise. Wasn't as bad as I feared - nor as bad as the downtown Dream hotel - but something I'll try to avoid next trip.

This is my second time staying at Arlo Soho. Love the location, lobby tea/coffee station and small but functional room. Clean and cozy atmosphere.

Great place and vibe. Clean, new rooms. Fun lobby and common areas. Small rooms.

Don’t be misled about the reviews. I almost was and I’m glad I decided to continue with my booking. The concept of micro rooms aren’t as bad or small as they may sound. I booked a city view king size room and I loved everything about it. The room was cozy the view was nice. It was certainly big enough for my husband and I. The hotel overall was beautiful, it was super cute inside with multiple great amenities (including a 24 hour candy bar!) Their line of hygiene products smell AMAZING, I should have asked for more before I left! Such a great stay. I can’t wait to go back.

Love this hotel. Great location, great rates and its super cute.

Efficient , convenient, aesthetically pleasing, a lot to offer. Spent an overnight stay to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. Price made it very affordable for me to invite two of her friends. Walking to nearby Soho for shopping and Lityle Italy for dinner. The hotel itself had a great bar and a lot to offer such as movie night and a quick deli. Staff was fantastic! Michael was welcoming and extremely accommodating when setting up our rooms. Lindsay made our last day there pleasurable making it possible to enjoy hotel amenities even after check out.

This review is probably not hip because I used the work hip... Really cool, but small, rooms. The bathrooms are in the room with very little privacy, so you better know your roommate well before you check in here. The lounges, outdoor seating, bar, and restaurant is all excellent! We came back to the hotel at night instead of hitting bars somewhere else. So nice to be able to grab a few drinks and wind down and then just go up stairs and sleep. The location is great! Hudson St is 'eat-street', so may great restaurants close by. You are within walking distance to the financial district, subway is not even a block away, and Newark Airport is on the other side of the Tunnel.

Hotel is stunning, you will want to have a photoshoot on the lower level. Room was extremely tiny which is quite typical for NYC. Only complaint is shower leaked on to room floor.

Just completed our first stay at The Arlo and very much enjoyed it. It's a MICRO Hotel. We knew that our room was going to "micro" with approximately 150 sq. ft. of space but the space was very well planned out and highly efficient. My wife and planned to use a single full-sized suitcase for our long weekend, mid-winter stay. It was a bit of a challenge to organize our folded and hanging cloths but once we figured it out, our room was cozy and accommodating. The lobby, communal amenities and club-house feel made up for the lack of space in our room. The 1, 2 & 3 (Broadway) subway lines have just a few moments from the hotel. If you want to be near lower Manhattan, have easy access to anywhere else and be close to Brooklyn, consider The Arlo.
