Breezes Resort Bahamas All Inclusive

Just returned from a 4D/3N vacay celebrating our son's graduation and were very excited after seeing pics of the resort online. From the time of initial check-in to the check-out, we consistently experienced poor customer service. There was not one person on site who seemed the least bit happy to be there. The food was sub-par; the drinks all tasted the same no matter what was ordered; the on site restaurants have varying days of being open and only allowed seating at certain times. As ridiculous as we felt about it, on our last night we chose to order from the Domino's Pizza down the street. Received better service from the Domino's delivery person than we did from the entirety of the staff at Breezes. The room and resort are tired feeling and are in need of updates. The beach was exceptionally clean and beautiful. Teams are constantly working to ensure cleanliness of the beach and resort itself, so cleanliness is not a complaint whatsoever. We always felt safe on the resort, too. For those two reasons, I would consider returning to this resort and would speak positively of it to friends and family; the expectations of a super friendly, fun environment is not what we experienced. That being said, we brought our own fun. When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine! I'd say adjust your expectations to experience a clean resort/room and prepare to be underwhelmed by the food/drinks/customer service. If you find you love the food/drinks/CS, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Overall, good. Food was good, beach was wonderful.

Breezes offered a great experience for a first time visitor as myself. I would recommend it anytime!

We got a ocean front room, which was really nice to walk right out on the beach. The pool was nice but a little dirty. Food was pretty good and the drinks were great. The bed could be a little more comfy but wasn't bad.

Those who complain about the outdated or unclean rooms and weak drinks are being extremely petty. For being a three-star hotel, you really do get everything you'd want and more -- that is, the view, the room, the food is all well above what I'd expected in a mid-range hotel. There are dozens of options of things to do here, and all the staff are well-equipped to make your stay great. (Housekeeping did a great job on the rooms every day, Oscar from entertainment was wonderfully friendly, and Demetrius in the restaurants helped time the courses in our meals flawlessly -- there were others, too, I just didn't catch their names.) Overall, if you're looking for a budget resort in the Bahamas, you're not going to do better.

Although the common areas are really nice and well kept. The guest rooms were old and mildewed. My room smelled old and like urine. The staff however is excellent!!!!! I also enjoyed the food.

For what you pay it’s definitely worth needs upgrades but still a good bang for your buck

It was very nice. Food was good , pool and beach was really nice.

I love how simple it is to get to Breezes and how simple it is to enjoy yourself here! I am a 4 time repeat customer and will continue to book with them.

hotel staff reception, bar staff , towel staff all rude. They don't acknowledge you. rooms did not have ice bucket, refrigerator, or tissues. safe was broken. pool had broken filter . could only get 1 towel per person for beach. not enough huts on beach for shelter. Buffet staff left tables dirty and did not setup timely and never had spoons. Bar staff ignored you and never gave you a napkin with drinks and would run out of straws. Entertainment staff was nice and friendly. Funky D and band were great. This hotel needs major overhaul and a nicer staff who understand that the tourists are the reason they have a job. Mgt needs to address their staff issues and maybe pay them better.

I read some reviews from others that have stayed at Breezes and I almost didn’t go to the Bahamas. Melia, Sandals, & Atlantis are more expensive ($1k—>7k) more for 5 nights. I’m glad I booked Breezes. It doesn’t have the curb appeal some of the others have, but it is well maintained. The room was very comfortable and had a view of the pool deck and the ocean. Overall, the food was good. Didn’t care too much for the dinner buffet on Night #1, but the remaining nights my girlfriend and I tried the other restaurants within the resort and they were all Very good! No complaints about the “All Inclusive” branding. You can eat and drink till you fall over of course for free. We took $50 in US $1’s (you do not need to exchange money for Bahamian Currency) and we tipped often, but not always. The workers there did not even expect a tip and most people didn’t leave one, but I encourage leaving a dollar here and there. They have free water sports (kayak, paddle boats, paddle boarding) which is a must try in the Bahamas. I had never paddle boarded before, but was one of the most fun events from the trip. On a clear/calm day, you can see to the bottom of the water. I saw Sting Ray, Star Fish, and even Sea Turtles as I was paddle boarding. The one thing I didn’t like was the hot tub. The 1st day, the water was literally 120 degs and no one could get in! The next it was perfect. The next it was too cold. :-/ Last but not least, I must commend the staff. Very friendly and engaging!

Glad I read reviews before we went. I took a flat sheet because the reviews said they did not have them on the beds. This was correct. The hotel is dated, but clean. They do not provide a schedule for meals or rules for the other restaurants so everyone is a little confused. They act like the towels are gold, you can't get them until 8 and must be taken back at 6, otherwise your room will be charged, I don't think anyone would want to take those 20 year old towels. The beach is never completely picked up, we looked at the same 3 stacked cups in the sand for 3 days, just waiting to see if anyone would come by and put them in trash. It was seagull mating season and the seagulls were so loud they drowned out the ocean sound, but that was not the resort's fault. They need about 20 more umbrellas because no one should be baking out in the sun all day long. It served the purpose for what we came for; sun, sand and beach. The house band could it down about half and stop and 11 instead of 12. You could feel the hotel vibrating.

This is our second time going to the Breezes. It is a good value. What was different with this stay is that the staff were not as friendly. Everyone in my party felt the same. There were a few stand out employees that went out of there way, but that was about it (Gee, Bianca, Jason). From food to bar staff, many employees did not seem happy and it showed.

The staff is what made the stay so wonderful. Having the all inclusive was also an added bonus. We thought we missed spring break but had some kids that came in during our stay. The company and chaperones that are with these kids are terrible. Try to miss spring break all together if you can.

It's not a high end place like Sands or Atlantis, but adequate. There is an abundance of food available, albeit not the highest quality food. But, it's reasonable considering the price. In addition to the buffet, there are three other available restaurants on the premises with different cuisines. One nice little extra was the snack bar by the beach. Once again, not a high end luxury spot, but you won't be paying high end luxury prices either.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Great variety of food at the buffet and with three other options, you can find anything you want to eat. Beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear water - what else is there!?!

Hotel is on the beach but be ware if you pay for a beach view you may need to stretch your neck out the window for the veiw. The staff is awesome and super freindly and helpful. The beds are Painfully Awful! We didn't have 1 good night sleep out of our 5 nights. I don't think we will be going back.

Entertainment was lacking, the jacuzzi was broken. No outdoor music playing by the pool during the day. Water sports was almost non-existent. We never go there again 😩.

Horrible stay would like a refund on the breezes very upset with the workers very rude almost looked like they wanted to fight you if you asked for anything very uncomfortable asked for maintenance twice on a broken safe never came food was horrible like microwave like waited 2 hours to sit and eat at the restaurant told us they weren't taken anymore cause they were Fool they lied we marched right in and there were plenty of tables and we demanded they seat us very dirty on outside so outdated they should just close and tear that place down

Was a last minute choice,.at a good price. Enjoyed proximity to beach and pool. Should have more entertainment... music, a place to dance, variety of food avail more during day. Front desk should explain about reserving sunbeds and/or have sunbrellas avail for everyone.
