It was amazing having the ocean view room! Woke up every morning to the sound of the waves. Every staff member was super nice as well. Had such a great experience there and would love to go back again!
Went to Breezes on a girls/birthday trip. Awesome location right near the bus stops. It is a little further to the clubs and bars but it was very safe. The extra activities were amazing (wind surfing, kayaking, trapezing.) The staff is INCREDIBLE from check in to housekeeping. They were friendly and genuine. The alcohol is mediocre and bar hours are limited. Only downfall was the food served. There is a buffet and multiple restaurants, but food is very bland.
I am a first time mother who is breastfeeding my child. I was given the opportunity to go away for four days to relax. However, due to breastfeeding I would still need to pump my milk and store it ( in a freezer) until I returned home. The hotel room did not have a refrigerator for me to store my expressed milk so I had to rent one for a charge of $11 a day. I was fine with that. However, the freezer was about 4 inches wide by about 8 inches deep. After two days there was no room for anymore milk packages and some of the ones in there were not frozen because it did not work well. I went to the front desk and asked them if they had another freezer I could use maybe one in the kitchen I was told no. I asked if they could give me another refrigerator for the remainder of the trip at no cost since I was already paying for one, they said no. The front end manager was very rude and did not help me figure out a solution. She responded it wasn't her problem. As a result, I had to ask the nurse to store some of the milk for me, but once again it was the same size freezer. The nurse was very willing and understanding. I am disgusted at the lack of accommodations for a nursing mother who does not have her child with her. Due to this insensitivity I will not be returning to this resort and would encourage other nursing mothers to avoid is at all costs.
Just ok. Not blown away. Unorganized at times. Transportation to the airport was a little uneasy.
Beach was nice. Food was average...they have an itialian and Japanese restaurant...why go to the Bahamas for this? Staff was hit or miss. Some very nice and some seemed annoyed. Seems like a great spot for college spring break though. Maybe I'm getting older but I had higher hopes for this.
Our room had mold on the curtains, mold on the lampshade, another lampshade was ripped. The "premium" liquor package we purchased actually meant Bartons brand liquor with only 4 choices. The restaraunts were only open when they wanted to be all about 2 days a week based on occupancy not the hours listed online. They have no arcade, no ice machines, no vending machine. It cost $22 in a cab ride to go into town to buy actual food not the garbage they give you. We tried to leave day one but were told they had no manager available. They make you trade a card in to use a beach towel and make you sign a paper agreeing to pay $20 for towel if you dont turn it in by 6pm that day. The entire stay was a joke from minute one to the time we checked out to the time we actually paid money out od pocket to book another hotel to just get out of the Breezes. Do not do it to yourself. DO NOT STAY HERE.
I will start with the pros. The hotel is clean and the wait staff is excellent. Now the cons: the food SUCKS. The choices were minimal and very basic. The management really needs to address this. Although the hotel is clean it is dated. The rooms are some what dated but clean. It can do with some basic improvements. Most hotels these days have a chair for relaxation. Also there was no bible in the room. The wait staff was good but the front desk staff was not that customer oriented. They did not even ask about our stay during check out. I have stayed in many all inclusive hotels in Mexico and Jamaica and this hotel was the worst. With Baha Mar about to open next door, Breezes will have some major competition if they don't work on improving their service and the premises.
Food was excellent!! Must go! Rooms are a bit outdated but who cares you go there for the beach and food not to stay in your room. Beach was beautiful Drinks weren't watered down.. I would recommend this resort!
Went to see my son play Football in Popeyes Bahama Bowl. Had the best room on 1st floor and staff was amazing! Everyone helped Ms anytime they could!! Will be returning every year if possible! Love Breezes Resort! Food and drinks were amazing also!
Check-in staff didn't have a welcoming attitude. Requested room with king size bed but we had 2 double beds room. Front desk did not inform us during check. Just a surprise when we got into the room. Couple spending Christmas was like a divorce sleeping in 2 separate beds. Management should be keen when assigning rooms. Lamp at the desk did not have light bulb. thus the room was dark with just one lamp working. Complained but was never fixed. Curtains not hooked up properly. Food was not good.
a great experience -live band excellent. Need to play more Bahamian music.
Nice, clean hotel that needs updating, but is a good bang for your buck as long as you know what to expect. Would recommend if staying for 2-3 days or if a large group is going that doesn't want to worry about meals. Pros: - Airport fares easily stated at taxi stand. Quick ride and both drivers were friendly with advice. - Easy check in process with welcoming staff. Staff at this resort in all areas really was great and what made it a 4 instead of a 3 star. - Beachfront is the truth, unlike most resorts. They have chairs for free on beach and you can rent shaded cabanas, but even then had umbrellas and such over some chairs that you didn't have to pay extra for. - All-inclusive for food and well drinks, and as long as you understand it's not Michelin starred. General buffets had good variety, were clean, and the a la carte restaurants had lovely service. Minimal choices a la carte but to be expected at the rate you're paying per night for room, drinks, and food. Great value. - Comfortable pool area with bar, outdoor grill, and beachside chairs (watch out for the seagulls!). We were there during down season, but around beach were fun activities that I imagine are open in high season, like trapeze & rock climbing Cons - Can tell it's an older property, lounge chairs had black spots all over and some were broken. Bathroom fixtures weren't clean (showerhead had mold, etc.) - When giant resort next door opens I think it'll be a really packed beach, but not yet.
I had a nice experience at Breezes. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive. The location was great - about 15 min taxi ride from downtown and the beach is literally steps away from the resort. Hammocks, volleyball nets, beach chairs and towels are all provided. All you can eat food and drinks was definitely a big plus. It's not the fanciest resort - the rooms were a little dated but it was comfortable for the prize. The TV in the room didn't work and the hotel said they would fix it but never did. Overall, it's a good bang for your buck. Would definitely return again.
Upon arrival, our rooms were not available. We booked 2 rooms, which we were given the incorrect rooms and the staff was not willing to give us the rooms we paid for without a fight. We waiting until late that evening to get into our rooms, which were not what we booked, but better than the first option. The buffet was okay. The "club" was horrible. There were about 10 people there with terrible music and drinks, we went to another location. The entertainment crew did a great job with their shows. The music during the day by the pool is on repeat, so be prepared to hear the same song over, and over, and over. The gentlemen that helped us with our bags and catching a cab were very friendly and made great recommendations for exploring the island. Taking the local bus was easy, with a stop right outside the hotel. The bus was very safe and easy to navigate. While at the resort, the air conditioning went off 2 full days we were there, the water and electricity went off 3 separate occasions. The resort was rude about the issue and told everyone the whole side of the island was without power. The next day while in town we talked to people from resorts next to us, they never had any issues with water or electricity. They just lied to all the guests instead. Besides the buffet, the other restaurants were nothing special. I will not visit this resort again. This resort is great for spring breakers that want to drink, eat just okay food and do not care about room hygiene.
Hotel resort has its own beach front and different restaurants inside which are free for all-inclusive hotel guests. The staff are friendly and helpful when planning trips around the city. They have a buffet for breakfast , dinner, even for a midnight snacks and unlimited drinks which was a plus! Although It does seem a little worn down, it provided the necessities we needed for our stay and our vacation there was extremely fun!
The pools are not clean The staff not friendly, the drinks are limited , the staff doesnt apear open to new cocktails they will just say we dont do. The umbrellas at the pool are not enough, and when i asked for an umbrela they just sent me to complain at the management, even i said i want solutions no complains, i am in holliday. The entertainment is weak, the staff doesnt involve with the guests. The rooms are old and have a condess smell. The only good thing is the lady from the reception accepted to let us stay one night longer as we lost our flight and arrived one day later, without charging extra.
Good place but the food isn't good. Maybe a better food and beverage manager.
This is a nice little hotel with nice staff. Pros: - all inclusive (but not all resturants open everyday ) - pool and beach are always open - clean rooms and hotel - many free activities Cons: - Internet connection and speed sucks big time. I am a business man and was planning to get so much done during my stay but literally wasn't able to do much because of the incredibly slow speed and lack of connection in many areas in the hotel. This can a be a deal breaker for me if I consider coming back - They collect pool towels at 6pm and you have to check in and out everytime. Pretty annoying - Variety of food is limited but the staff are nice - they have a no return policy in their gift shop - there are bunch of cats wandering all over the resort for some reason - other than suits, no other room has a balcony
Staff isn't very helpful or friendly. Especially good service. They allow day passes from the cruise ships, which makes the resort loud. Not very fair to those paying for the all-inclusive. More of a party scene than a getaway. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Beach.
Pros- Wonderful beach, delicious food, amazing staff! Rashad at check in , Samantha in the Melino restaurant & LaKiesha at the pool bar made this resort amazing! Cons- Top shelf alcohol needed
