Our room was beautiful and very comfortable! The cleaning staff did a daily clean and we had plenty of towels. Our mini fridge was stocked as we requested, and all the staff from restaurant servers to bar tenders were very friendly. Although the weather was windy and cloudy throughout or stay, we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary with our first visit to an all inclusive resort. We missed our favorite wine, Pinot Noir and favorite vodka, Grey Goose, but made due with what was offered. The food was good, and definitely excellent at Butches Chop House and Le Plume. We lost enjoyed the sushi bar our first night.

The food was pretty terrible. Butlers are not useful at all other than getting your seats at your preferred pool. Even then someone else just moved our stuff and took our seats and the butler wouldn’t make them give it back. The butlers would call us incessantly even waking us up on the morning for basic questions that could easily have waited or been a text. They also give you an android phone you have to carry around instead of just doing WhatsApp or something less inconvenient. Only real positives are they poor good drinks and the island is very nice. Otherwise overpriced and wouldn’t go back. + bugs in our room.

Food is not very good and made my wife and a handful of others on our trip very sick. The staff seems unmotivated and sometimes unfriendly but Tevin Kevin and Willis were the real highlights on our trip! Great guys and great service with them. The hotel itself is okay, rooms were spacious but could be kept better. Gym was great with a great view. Overall I don’t think it’s quite worth the price but with some small adjustments could be the 5 star hotel they claim to be!

Beautiful ocean views . Excellent private island with a short boat ride although it depends on the weather. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel happy. Restaurants in the evening are excellent buffet could have more choice but everything is fresh . Airport transfer is very easy.

Our West Bay room smelled damp/musty so we were surprised to read that the resort had been upgraded as recently as 2022 (we heard another couple mention the same smell in their room too). The low-light of the trip was when we got trapped in the elevator - a lift that had been put back in service from a couple of days out of service already. With the cart stuck halfway in-between floors, a maintenance team member attended quickly (kudos) but then forcing the doors open (and having to fight to hold them there as they kept trying to close on us) whilst we had to vault out in what was a very unsafe situation (lucky we are young/fit enough to do so quickly but that is not the point). There is clearly a distinct lack of management processes to account for such customer incidents as there was no follow-up with us to address it even after we later decided to mention it to concierge (who informed management at the time) and despite us supposedly being a "Tender Loving Care" room (our rep had no knowledge of the incident a few nights later when they made first contact on night 7 of 9). We're generally pretty low-profile / low maintenance so don't encourage much attention but this feels like an incident that would be addressed at a high-end resort that values it's guests, especially when we were celebrating our engagement! Unsurprisingly we got our steps in using the stairs up and down to the 4th floor every day after that!

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could ever want. The food in the restaurants was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the different dining experiences. Le Plume & Gordon’s on the pier were standout favourites. Staff were friendly and the small private island was incredible. Our only criticism is that the drinks (alcoholic) were made so strong they were undrinkable. For such a beautiful place, with such quality food and resort life this did let it down a little.

This was our first time staying at a Sandal's and it will be our last. We had to chase down room service staff multiple times for toilet paper, wash clothes and coffee refills because they would clean the room but not restock it. They never took the dirty towels or glasses when cleaning the room. They should not say they have top self liquor, because they do not !!! If we wanted anything other then the house wine we had to pay $25 a glass at minimum. We could never get a chair at the beach or the pool. Maybe if we wanted to go down at midnight to stake one out we would have some luck. We were told by fellow guest that the only way to get chairs at beach or pool was to have a butler. Sad, we paid $7000 for this trip ...you want me to pay more to get a pool side chair. Rediculous. The beach area is tiny, we made an attempt at their private island. We tried to get a cocktail before we waited for the 3:30 boat back (last one was at 4 pm) we were told the bar closed early because the staff had to take the same boat we did, so everything was closed up. So we went to wati for the boat, when it got there staff got first privledge over all the guests, and we could not get on because that made th boat full. Total BS. We did take advantage of diving each day so we would have something to do. I do have to say the Dive shop employees were amazing. We did enjoy them. Its really sad the way this place is ran. It is NOTHING like what you see in the commercials.
