DO NOT STAY!!! If you are questioning the bad reviews...believe every single one of them. I am in my early 30's, planned this trip for New Years Eve 2022 as a surprise gift to my girlfriend. I called a few days earlier asking if there was anything they could do to make the room more special for our arrival. I was told by a woman (name I cannot remember) that she would upgrade our room from an ocean VIEW to ocean FRONT. She also said she would email a list of upgradable items and things I could purchase before our arrive. That never came. We checked in to be told rudely by a very dry woman that there was no record of the call, of the upgrade, nothing. Basically telling me I was full of it. Also told me there were no more rooms to be able to give me anyways and since I did not pay, there was nothing she could do. First impressions ruined some of the trip, but the property and lack of a paradise feel helped ruin the rest. Pool area and rooms are so run down, we did not even lay near the pool or get in the water. Food is definitely nowhere close to high end. We also found it hard to coordinate with their schedule to eat. We ended up needing to leave the resort almost every day to have fun and find things to do. They do not even have ice machines for guests let alone ice buckets in the room. It took over 2 hours and 3 phone calls to get someone to bring something as simple as ice and towels to our room. The covid testing prior to departing (done at the hotel) was unorganized.

Horrible, do not stay there

Amazing!

Loved the staff, the food and the emenities!! Very clean, friendly and relaxing, with activities all day!

The friendliness of the staff from first check in to check out was beyond expectation. We were treated more like family than customers.

The facility was clean. Food was sub par. No bottled water. Very minimal food. Only hotdogs and hamburgers or jerk chicken EVERYDAY for lunch choices. Television and cable issues. WIFI was poor. Never had wash clothes in rooms. All inclusive WAS NOT.

I didn’t like that it was very outdated. The furniture and the rooms. There was no sheets on our bed just a comforter. There was also no fridge in the rooms and the only time we could have water was at meals. The food wasn’t that great until our last day. We went during spring break and the first day was awful. Couldn’t sleep at 2am bc of the loud music and kids screaming and yelling outside. The beaches were beautiful but as you walked you found cups, beer jars, bottles all over the beach. It was really sad. I even picked up a few bc it was awful to see in such a beautiful place. The employees were employees were half nice and half uninterested when I asked questions. I wouldn’t stay here again as it seems more for the younger louder crowds.

The people were really nice. Professional business and friendly staff

For the price this place was fine. It is a little bit outdated. The food was sometimes cold at the buffet. We ate at all of the restaurants, we waited for a very long time to get our food at Eden. There was one waiter for ALL the tables. We were in there for 2 hours! But we had good service at other two restaurants on the resort. The beach was very nice and was very big. Lots of space and you don't feel like you are right on top of each other. For the price it was pretty decent for an all-inclusive! Sandals is double the cost so you get what you pay for. The staff were all very very nice and friendly!

was ok place. 3 stars. Felt dated. evening entertainment was same every night. Only 1 bar open at a time.

The beach was amazing. The property is on the old side for sure. I was on the 8th floor of the building. Every piece of trim along the hallway was loose and pulling away. A rubber rug was laid down on the tile floor where some had come loose. The food was "ok." There was variety in the buffet but not nearly the size of many other all inclusives I have been to. What was there was good. Loved the smoked salmon in the AM for breakfast as a choice. The desk staff was friendly as well as the front staff who assisted with anything they could. The island does not have many cabs that take credit cards so you need to ask ahead. There is no Uber type service on the island. The hot tub was really nasty due to people staying in there for very long periods of time. One staff member said it had not been cleaned in 4 weeks. In late February the outdoor pool was cold and not heated. There is a lack of bars on the property. Only the pool bar is open most of the time. There is a lobby bar but it is only open at certain times. The bartenders worked very hard and are apparently under appreciated. I would suggest this place if you have never been to one before but if you can afford more go to Melia. I would return but only if I got a really great deal.

Great location, fantastic food, beautiful beach (and weather), just a bit loud until 11:00 or midnight.

The property was right on the water and had everything you need for amenities and entertainment. It was not too big to be overwhelming like some resorts can be. It is very clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and made sure you had a good time. Shoutout to Khyeil and Larry! Such great employees with a fantastic attitude and energy who made my stay that much better :)
