Our room had a malfunction where smoke continuously entered for unknown reasons. The room became foggy from how much smoke there was. We had to move rooms to a slightly smaller room with a ground view and all our items had a smoke smell to it. There were also many false emergency alarms that went off throughout our stay.

This was a short stay for my first trip to the Bahamas, but the location was excellent and very easy to walk around. Part of the hotel was under renovation, so the pool area was unusable, but it didn’t bother me at all. Staff was pleasant and helpful from the few interactions I had with them.

This is my favorite hotel to stay when I am in Nassau but unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on during this trip. It was inconvenient but I am sure that the remodel will be beautiful.

Absolutely Fabulous...

I give my 8 day stay at the Courtyard by Marriott an11 out of 10... The staff were there for any and everything I needed... Any questions I had were immediately answered, the small store inside the hotel had a variety of items if you forgot them or wanted a late night snack... I became ill and wound up going to the local ER... During this time, prior and following, the staff were VERY attentive... They ensured I was comfortable, brought things to my room if needed and continued to make my stay wonderful... They made me feel great when I was able to begin enjoying myself again... I will be returning to Nassau several times in the near future and the Courtyard by Marriott Nassau Downtown / Junkanoo Beach is the place for me... Give it a try, I bet you'll love it and return yourself... My ultimate favorite staff were the front desk associates and the bartenders and I really don't even drink... lol... Please take note ALL of the staff are awesome... My favorite was laughing at the bar with other patrons...that was the best... I had no desire to leave the hotel or Nassau but the great thing before I did was exchanging information with some "new friends" to keep in touch on WhatsApp...
