We had quite a few issues with housekeeping. Our room was very dirty upon check in. The coffee was not replenished and then when they delivered coffee to the room after calling it was expired. They then sent more coffee and 2 out of 4 packets were expired. The issues we had were unacceptable considering the low occupancy rate during our stay. I spoke with the front desk on multiple occasions regarding the ongoing issues and we not offered anything to correct the issues.

One of the things we loved most was the variety of places to eat. We stayed in the West Tower and had easy access to all the food of the main lobby. The best place to eat was Olives and we ate there a few times during our stay. Carmine's is really good, but it is family style so for two people there was A LOT of leftover food that went to waste. If you're a casual drinker, I suggest checking liquor to bring with you as food/drinks can add up quickly. I was pleased to see a $150 resort credit on our room at checkout, however, we didn't know it was available to us and thus didn't use all of it. There is the option to charge everything to the room, but we used cash to pay for almost everything since we were spending time in the casino. If you play the slots, the machines on the side opposite of Nobu seem to pay out the best. A big negative was that ALL of the water activities shut down at 5pm and there is little to NO lighting on the grounds. Walking between buildings or to the beach for a late night stroll is nearly impossible. I enjoy spending time in the pools up until 7-8pm and having late dinners, so it was sad that we had several hours a day cut short. This was not advertised ahead of time and therefore would be a big consideration if booking another trip. Other resorts we have stayed at have had 24 hour pools and swim at your own risk beyond a certain time- and they were vastly lit. The Rapid River and Shark tube slide were our favorites! Overall, we had a great trip! 4/5

is very good with have wonderful time with enjoy everything

I would have liked a inclusive food package. The food prices, especially the Buffet was way over priced.

Everything was right there - so many things to do and see. Incredible

The Atlantis property is one of the most beautiful I have visited. It is a vast property with multiple beaches, multiple lovely pools with waterfalls, surrounded by palm trees and lovely landscaping and beautifully decorated. The Caribbean sea water is crystal clear and was perfect for swimming, looking for shells, and snorkeling. The kids really enjoyed the "rapid river" ride. There are a lot of sea creatures in pools around the resort to go and see, which is great (sea turtles, sharks, etc). A LOT of walking required to get to different places on the resort, but we didn't mind. Our only issue with the resort is that all the food on the resort is overpriced and there's almost no way to get an affordable meal. Food costs a FORTUNE. My kids really wanted to go to the breakfast buffet but at over $50 pp, it just wasn't worth it. We brought our own snacks and breakfast food from home and thank God we did. Also, be advised that although you're paying exorbitant cost/fees for the hotel, do not expect 5-star service. The service is 4-star at best and that's on a good day. Some staff were friendly and nice while others were blatantly rude and unhelpful. They get their automatic 15% gratuity added into every bill, so unfortunately not a lot of motivation to go the extra mile with service. Go for the amenities of the resort, just adjust your expectations for lackluster service. We are glad we went, as it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not sure I'd pay this much to go again.

The property is absolutely beautiful!!! I wish it was all inclusive

Room was not serviced and we had to call 4 times to get someone out to service the room Wifi was difficult to attach onto and worked intermittently Poor value for money spent

Grounds were excellent and a real paradise! East towers are conveniently located above the hotel lobby, but West towers require outside access after a long walk from the lobby, shops, and attractions. No shops or attractions in the West tower at all. And rooms were in need of refurbishing (dirty carpet, elec plugs inoperable, water leaks). Positive: Something interesting and fun around every turn on the lush gardens, free activities available, several pools and beaches, free beach towels. Food and drinks expensive (cashless with room key). Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from on property. You will enjoy your stay! .

Bedd linens were spotted--dirty--Restaurants and food was over priced

Place was beautiful and well maintained. Some of the staff were very rude.

The service is terrible which is a shame bc the property is so pretty.

I liked the variety of options and there was always something to do. Some rooms were super old and outdated and you could tell. Some staff was great, some were not.

The property was extremely large and had allot of activities. The property however needs to be update. The rooms in the Royal hotel need updating. The carpets were old, the bathrooms were old. The tub needed replacing. Also, because we were there during hurricane Dorian there was problems with the plumbing. We had sand in our bathroom toilet for 2 days, and the water stop working all together in our bathroom for about 3 hours one day. I understand the hurricane potentially caused these issues, but it was extremely strange given that our room was on the 10th floor of the hotel.

I have been to a lot of nice resorts but have never encountered such rude people at onsite restaurants. My daughter is Vegan. Apparently that’s a foreign concept to all servers on Paradise Island, but the worst service by far was Plato’s. Will never return. Educate your employees who don’t seem to care because a 15% gratuity is added to every bill on resort property.
