I liked the variety of options and there was always something to do. Some rooms were super old and outdated and you could tell. Some staff was great, some were not.

The property was extremely large and had allot of activities. The property however needs to be update. The rooms in the Royal hotel need updating. The carpets were old, the bathrooms were old. The tub needed replacing. Also, because we were there during hurricane Dorian there was problems with the plumbing. We had sand in our bathroom toilet for 2 days, and the water stop working all together in our bathroom for about 3 hours one day. I understand the hurricane potentially caused these issues, but it was extremely strange given that our room was on the 10th floor of the hotel.

As far as the appearance of the Hotel is Gorgeous! As to cleaniness of the room it could be better,when we arrived to our room we had to call service because our sink was full of brown water. The staff there is a Hit and Miss. Some are very nice, majorityof them are rude and literally show they hate their jobs. Definetely need customer service training.as to our stay it was Great The royal is beautiful and soo much to do.

very clear ocean water. property is over 20 years old. outside of the royal towers need to be painted/repaired ASAP for price you charge property is old. NEED YOUR STAFF TO BE TRAINED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THEY ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR JOB FIND AN ANOTHER JOB. YOUR PROPERTY CHARGES ARE HIGH ENOUGH THAT PEOPLE EXPECT FRIENDLIER CUSTOMER SERVICE. as far as the park everything was really nice, the view amazing had lots of fun. Now inside our room was very different, have been in many other resorts and this one is by far the worst. My family of 4 were staying in royal towers east, double beds for 7 days. I think the room was out dated, furniture was old, beds were not comfortable and they smelled like mold and there was a smell of pillows ( i didn't use) the carpet was so dirty and old, had to keep the A/C on or the smell of moisture in the carpet was awful; this is not a place to have carpet. I want to also say has nothing to do with housekeeping they kept our room clean as to their possibilities and what they were given to work with. I think this is a problem of management there is lots of money coming in like for them to have this place with millions of visitors up to date and if not AT LEAST CLEAN AND SAFE ( i am so sure there is mold in that room, I couldn't breath at night)

The hotel needs updating!! For their prices and not inclusive, better accommodations would make sense. Service and staff very disappointing. There was a 15% gratuity included in all your service so why would the staff try to be nicer. Everyone seemed upset or not happy at working at Atlantis Hotel. We did the dolphin swim and it was the biggest ripoff I have ever experience. Our appt was at 1130 am, the staff had us waiting for an hour under the rain for them to figure out their schedules and just to see them argue with eachother. Very poor management. Plus the swimming/interaction with dolphin lasted only 30 min. Not sure if because they were running 1 hr behind schedule and other groups were already getting ready and they cut us short. But after spending $700 for a 30 min “hands on” activity for 3 people and 1 hr waiting in the rain!!! A total disappointment!!! Ok, so the airline Bahamair!! We were delayed almost 2 hours heading out of Miami and delayed 1 hr heading into Miami.

friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere, lots of fun things to do. Atlantis has been my dream vacation since 1998, when the resort opened. The trip did not fall short of what I expected at all, it was even better than I imagined. So far this has been my favorite vacation, destination ever. I definitely will come back. We did received $200 resort credit. That paid for Pina coladas, snorkel rentals, snacks during our stay, that was a great perk. We also received 2 free bottles of water a day, that was a nice perk also because bottled water is $5 a bottle. The only complaint I have is housekeeping. We called housekeeping for towels and didn’t receive towels the day we left and I had to use a hand towel to dry off after calling 3 times for towels . The clean towels and sheets smelt very sour, it smelt almost like vomit, it was disgusting. If you ask for cleaning services during your stay ( I did once because my kids got sand all over the floor and beds from inside their bathing suits) don’t expect clean sheets , vacuumed rooms, stalked toiled paper or tissues. Housekeeping was my only compliant. The food is average, at best. The rest was excellent and the perfect tropical vacation. It was a dream and true paradise.

Thank you for staying at The Royal. Did you know that there are over 50,000 fish and marine animals at Atlantis? Recently three blacknose shark pups were born and we are the first marine habitat in the world to have had a successful birth of the critically endangered Smalltooth Sawfish.
