Comfort Suites Paradise Island

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

I went into the hotel having stayed at plenty 4/5 rated hotels before. I was just underwhelmed at the rooms, very basic. I understand it's the besch but if they even just threw in carpet it would be loads better... just to start anyway

The location is great; walking distance to and full access to the Atlantis. The staff is wonderful- friendly, helpful, and truly an asset to the hotel. Food on Paradise Island is expensive so the option of breakfast offered by the hotel is definitely a huge bonus. The pool opened the day of my departure, as such, I am not able to give an opinion on that area. My overall experience was very pleasant and I would encourage others to use this hotel vs staying at the Atlantis as it is more economical. Be prepared walk -enjoy the sites and the people. Thank you.

We all have heard that " The first impression is the lasting impression..." The front desk crew were wonderfully kind and courteous...in addition, all the other staff we encountered were at the top of their game, friendly, helpful, with kind smiles. This is our second stay, so if the first stay was not impressive we won't be writing this favorable and positive review...My darling wife and I look forward to returning in the near future. Keep doing what you're doing and it will continue being BETTER IN THE BAHAMAS ! Thank you Comfort Suites, you really are SWEET !

We booked the last week in Oct. back in June without being made aware that alot of the restaurants are closed that week. Also found out in early Oct. that the pool and outside eating area was under construction, but was assured it would be completed by the time we arrived. It wasn't. Sign at desk gave completion date of Nov. 1. We left on Oct.30. Still not complete. Breakfast was moved to Pelican room. It was too crowded. This was my 4th visit to Comfort Suites, and the hotel is great with an exceptional friendly staff who will bend over backwards for thier guests, but with the pool area being renovated and so many good restaurants (Carmines, Bimini, Virgils, Murrays) being closed our options were limited. We were also told that all 14 pools in Atlantis would be open. They were not, some were closed.

The pool was closed for renovations, which was disappointing. It was a short walk to Atlantis and it was nice to have access to all those amenities!

We had a nice stay. Not fancy by any means but clean and about a 10 min walk to Atlantis.

Front desk staffs are incredibly rude. We had 5 people in my family so book 2 rooms through Orbitz. I don't know they are rude because I booked the hotel through Orbitz but they don't grant anything. I have asked if they can give us room right next to each other and they said "No" right away. Not even consider a second. Initially thought that hotel is completely booked. But that wasn't the case. Hotel was pretty much empty because of hurricane Maria. And the service is extremely slow. On second day, I asked the extra shampoos and conditioners. No response. I had to call them more than 5 times before they brought them to us. On last day morning, we had a left over food from previous night and my kids doesn't want to eat same breakfast so I asked the front desk to bring the microwave one of my room and explain to her. I'd like to have it quick since I had to check out and head out to airport. No response! My son had to bring the food to the breakfast area, which is basically the other end of the hotel to warm his food. Using the Atlantis amenity for free was excellent but they don't know how to serve their customer. I would rather spend more money and stay in the Atlantis properties.

Nice hotel in walking distance of Atlantis and also includes access to the waterpark with your stay. Staff are extremely pleasant and courteous and made my family and me feel at home. Would definitely return for another stay.

This place is perfect for people who want to visit Atlantis but can't afford to. The rooms are large and comfortable. The people are friendly and the free breakfast is decent (albeit crowded). You can't go wrong with the included Atlantis wristbands!

Enjoyed amenities to Atlantis. wifi was weak couldnt access internet at times. Staff very friendly! Room was small for 2 teens and 2 adults.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, nice pool and free breakfast. It is about 15 minutes walk to the closest Atlantis resort, Anthony's is right across the street as well as Dunkin donuts. Had a great time there.

Basic clean and tidy hotel with exceptionally friendly staff - except at check in, did not find that a welcoming experience although fairly efficient. Use of Atlantis facilities an amazing bonus, made it a great value vacation. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location for Atlantis pools & water park, and nice (unremarkable) hotel pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are old, dated, and we had broken lamps (four!) and bugs. Pay the extra, stay at Atlantis instead.

The hotel is fine, especially if you plan to be at the Atlantis all day and just need a place to sleep and shower. The included breakfast is also a solid deal; it could use more variety though, such as apples, bananas, Cherrios, and blueberry or banana muffins. In addition, the hotel is close is to the local market and drugstore. The market and drugstore are both very small and the items are expensive (6 pack of water was almost $18.00), but the prices are still better than those at the Atlantis. Lastly, there is also free WiFi at the hotel; however, the range is limited and spotty at times.

Extremely clean rooms and facilities. Very friendly staff.

Lovely. But for the money it would be nice to have a little variety in breakfast.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites for five nights. It was a great find, as you get access to the Atlantis resort water parks, beaches, casino, and so on. The hotel was within easy walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants, the Atlantis village, Atlantis resort, and the local boat docks which can take you over to Nassau or other Island. The hotel was clean, staff were amenable and welcoming at all times. It was very easy getting to and from the hotel and air port with many taxi cabs readily available for service at the hotel. All in all it was a great trip and we look forward to going back to the Bahamas soon!

The hotel was nice the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean it was next to Atlantis and we had full access which was great also a very nice shopping strip just across the street with a few nice places to eat the beach to close too so in all the location and hotel is great !

This hotel was very affordable which is sometimes scary when you are booking out of the country. You have access to Atlantis although I never really visit Atlantis anymore when I travel to the Bahamas. Our room was spotless. Clean shower, clean linen daily. No loud noises. No smoking except in designated areas outside of the hotel. The young lady that checked us in offered to keep our luggage until a room was available if we decided to venture out until time for check in. She immediately offered to change our room to a double bed as I went with a family member and not my spouse. The bartender at the hotel gave us tips on what to do and eat during our stay. Plenty of parking if you plan on driving on their crazy roads. For the buffet breakfast there's eggs, toast, bagels, oatmeal and sausage. Security is always present, and there's always someone at the front desk if needed. I'm satisfied.

came for Bahama Bowl ODU WINS! Long walks to get to Atlantis
