Let's get the bad out of the way; the elevator situation is horrible, especially if you are on the 15th floor which only has one elevator, and the liquor selection could have been better. That said, everything else was INCREDIBLE. The beach was fantastic. The pool area was fun and lively, but calm enough to still be able to relax if that's your thing. The room & facilities were all very nice, and the service was top notch. Shout out to Keno at the pool bar, who mixed the best drinks, and Ranando at the buffet. Ranando was THE best waiter anywhere, hands down, and we really enjoyed eating there in large part due to him. All in all a great vacation!

The hotel was just OK. Do not expect anything exciting. The building is dated but not too bad. Staff for a country that lives of tourism is nowhere close to be trying too hard. Everyone is trying to find way to squeeze money from you one way or the other, especially at the airport, literally all crooks. The location is great, but there ate tons of vendors that do not leave you alone if you are by the beach, which is common. What is not common is when those vendors start urinating where you are sunbathing on a chase-long. After this trip, I cannot help thinking how wonderful Mexico is.

Pretty run down facility. The liquor was definitely not premium. Very cheap options.

Our room was wonderful!! And our housekeeper Dora was amazing.

This resort was very accommodating, beautiful beach, friendly staff, and good food! Hard to find all that in one place and very reasonable too! We have stayed at 5 RIU’s and this one’s my favorite. We’ll come back to this resort! We stayed in room 525 had both pool and beach view. We can highly recommend Viator for the transfer to/from airport! I love the Bahamas :) My only recommendation is to carry seltzers as a drink option!

We found the people, so “over the top” helpful and friendly!

Nice

Property is great for those that want an all inclusive experience. There are some deficiencies at the property like not having change. Also the property needs a facelift. Some parts are starting to look old

love the location right by Cabbage beach, food is good, would be nice to have lively music playing in the pool all day

We have enjoyed the RIU Paradise island for about 15 years. The food and choices of restaurants is good. The staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to accommodate you. Our room was always clean. It’s nice to walk out and be on the beach or pool area immediately. Wouldn’t go any place else for winter vacation.

Evening entertainment is not attractive. Very loud and not attractive

The staff were excellent and polite
