Beautiful resort with great staff, highly recomended
Very disappointing experience, for the price point, this hotel should be amazing, no follow through with the front desk, brand new spa which is beautiful though no phone, I was calling to confirm apt time, no answer at spa, called front desk, they said they would confirm and call back, never did, I had to walk to spa to confirm time. Dirty towels on the pool chairs. The whole hotel lacks professionalism. Friends staying with us had a poor experience as well, was told by management that their complaints were ‘minor’. While the property view is beautiful, it’s not worth the price.
Pictures do not do this place justice absolutely amazing!!
We liked the suite we staid in, had nice patio and fire pit. Pool/pool house was very relaxing so was the spa. The view of neighboring vineyards and rolling hills was amazing. The restaurant/food/service was unexpectedly excellent. We enjoyed many fruit trees on the property as well. Will probably return again.
For the price of a "good" hotel by fishermans wharf with homeless all around, a long wait to check in and nothing included---(last trip to SF) you can go to the wine county, stay in a glorious cottage with wifi, a mini fridge stocked with beverages (complimentary) on grounds with fountains, beautiful gardens, an arbor, overlooking vineyards, fields with happy rescue cows grazing, bocce ball courts, two pools, fitness center, free yoga, free bike rentals to tour the many nearby vinyasa, restaurants, shops- it is simply glorious! welcome glass of wine, cashews and chocolates at reception, outdoor shower and private back porch at our cottage--- porch swings, rocking chairs, an incredible hilltop pool spa and restaurant with poolside dining and drinks, paper delivered every morning. It was paradise--- and it was nice not to be nickeled and dimed for water and extras, too. ️Wonderful staff, grounds, everything. Wish we stayed longer than two days --- next time! loved the bikes- take a helmet! perfection.
I loved the location, the hotel was under renovation so the overall experience should have been even better. The hotel staff deserved at least 4 stars as they were really kind at arrival and during our stay. However at the check out date, we asked for an hour late check out, as suggested and offered by the staff members on the previous day, and what a surprise; when we asked to the manager at the reception( counting money) she said a big NO, nor even 30 minutes and then we started to get one call after another at our room asking if we were already out of the room. This lady which shouldn't even be managing a Dog Hotel made our last few minutes at the facility feeling as we were in hell rather than a peaceful place like Napa. Such a classy place should be managed by someone that knows how to improve the guest' s experience... She ruined it all. For the record, there was no one waiting to check in in that day as it was the end of President s day holiday. What a shame!!!!!
