Loved our room!! Lots of stuff to do. The hotel itself is set up very strange, no bathroom on the bottom floor with the pool and hot tubs. You have to go soaking wet up to the first floor so the hallway and elevators are always wet.The pool bar and snack bar close way to early!!! And they put coffee in the rooms but NO TEA. But overall we would go back.

Our first room had bugs in it. It looked like a cockroach. The room looked very worn down and beat up. The front desk moved us to a different room. The next room seemed much better. We didn't see bugs and it didn't seem as beat up as the first. However, that evening I pulled the blanket to get into bed and there was a huge stain on the bed. It didn't look like the sheet was changed. I had to call housekeeping to come up with new bedding. The building is shaped in a half circle. Therefore, even if you have oceanfront, you can only see the beach in front of your building. You cannot see down the beach to the left or right. Also, the pools are really tiny and much too small for the amount of guests in the building. In the picture, it looks like the pools are massive, but they are not. The lazy river goes really slow and it was full of people. You really couldn't relax in it. Also, people go down first thing in the morning to reserve seats because if you don't do that, you won't get a spot. I was there for 5 days and never was able to sit on the lounge chairs. The word "resort" is very deceiving. In my opinion, this is not a resort. The TV's are very confusing. I spent well over an hour on each TV trying to get it to work. I had to keep doing channel scans to find channels. The front desk did offer to send someone up, but we were already in our pajamas and ready for bed. So I had to figure it out myself.

Lovely resort. Very clean and comfortable.

loved the view

The property was nice, it was bit noisy around 3 a.m. Otherwise, it was a good experience in North Myrtle Beach.

I loved the ocean view, the condo style and the accommodations. The only downside for me is the distance between here a d Myrtle Beach.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall property condition was average. Everything was in working condition but is a little on the old side. The orientation of the building allows for a lot of "oceanfront" rooms but they are mostly at a 45 degree angle to the ocean, instead of 90 degrees like most places. So while you do have a clear shot to the ocean you are also looking inside of the rooms of half the resort depending on what floor you are on. Don't miss the fact that parking is across the (busy) street, not a big deal for just me and the wife but would have been a consideration if we had our 3 young kids with us. The property had everything we needed, nothing mindblowing but no major disappointments either.

The hotel is well decorated. The suite was small, but clean. However, in the morning our trash can was crawling with a million ants. We were on the 5th floor. This upset us. Beds were comfortable. Tub was deep and clean. We did not use indoor pool, but outdoor pools were clean and not overly chlorinated. Picnic area was very nice also. Balcony was decent sized, but we were unable to enjoy it. They are said to be smoke free, but everytime we tried to use the balcony a neighbor was smoking on thiers. My children and I cannot breath around smoke so we were very disappointed the rule is not enforced. The parking garage is across the street which was inconvenient with all the rain, but parking attendant was helpful.

Clean resort, close access to Beach. Room was actually bigger than we anticipated. Wish they had a bigger pool. But they do have a few lazy rivers in the resort.

The propert was good. Did not like the fact that golf carts were allowed to take up parking spots in garage. Property is a little dated.

Basic hotel friendly staff made the stay great very short walk to the beach. Clean room. This was our first visit. I didn't see any cops or security made me wonder. Found out from someone who live there that the hotel was located in the rich white ppl area. Very quiet.

THE staff was exceptional the grounds were capacious yet the parking garage was not accommodating for Pick up trucks. the rooms were nice looking but the night stand drawers were shot and the beds were worn out. the included amenities were of a enjoyable quality.

Loved the ocean view of my room. The restaurant in the hotel served very good food.

I liked the amenities the property had to offer, such as the jacuzzi tub in each suite.

The room was dirty! The vent in the bathroom leaked water on the floor causing my daughter to fall and get hurt. I told them about it and they didn't care or ask if she was okay! Sent a tech up to fix it and it still leaked. So it wasn't even fixed. There was black mold on the ceiling so this has been an ongoing problem.

Great property, on the Ocean, great looking building well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping was very good. Other guests were polite and respectful of space and property, very comfortable place to relax. Location is great, very quiet but two blocks from Main st. Restaurants, and very close to major stores making it so convenient to buy all necessities while avoiding tourist trap rip off prices. Overall it was a great experience would recommend facility and will most likely return.

Thank you for your comments. I do apologize but we were not allowed to build a bathroom on the ground due to flooding. We do have them on the 1st and 2nd floor via the elevator and the City has portable ones but those were our only option, we do appreciate your understanding on this. We should have the pool bar or snack bar open til 7PM each night but see after 6PM we rarely have guests so we close up as our Tree Top Lounge is open form 4:30PM on daily.

Thank you for your observations and understanding of the building layout. While the parking garage is across the street we do hope you took advantage of our bell carts if needed to make the trip a little more pleasant. Thank you again.

Thank you for your comments and we do apologize that we have so many guests who ignore the no smoking policy and continue to do so. We do try and catch this action but do rely on guests to help us as it is very hard to see from the ground. Again we are sorry to see it impacted your stay.
