I liked being right on the beach and onsite parking. I felt it was overpriced because property was aged and not well taken care of possibly because of the covid crisis we are just coming out of. Hot tub never above 75. If it's not at least warm you get out of the mood to wait for a hot tub to get warm enough to enjoy.

this was a wonderful place to stay the staff was wonderful and if you needed anything someone was there within minutes. We could open our balcony door and good to sleep listening to the ocean at night. The rooms are a little outdated but everything else is so wonderful we would rather stay at the red tree inn than the newest hotel/motel. I was amazed for the price how great this place was and we will be going back.

the room was dirty, old..there were hairs in the bed!

The staff were awesome and very helpful the hotel needs updated.

Disappointed....did not stay, room was dirty and had sand on eating table.

If it wasn't for the ocean view and being on the beach, I would have given it a "0" instead of a 1. This place needs major renovations. Here are a few problems: 1. Nasty stains on the carpet; 2. Mold stains in the room and in the bathroom; 3. Door to the room was bent and very hard to lock; 4. Room had a musty (mold) smell; 5. Elevator floor was weak and felt like it was going to fall through it; 6. Room only had one set of towels; 7. We found the house cleaning lady sitting in a chair in the hallway doing her nails instead of cleaning rooms. When she saw us, she said: "watcha want"? We told her we need clean towels & face cloths. She pulled one set out of a trash bag and tossed them on the bed. 8. House cleaning didn't bother cleaning the room or remove the dirty towels we left on the bathroom floor. Most of the day and evenings was spent with relatives so we only had to go to the room to sleep. In a nutshell, don't stay at this place!

Definitely an older hotel. The door locks were very hard to open to get into the room. One outlet was questionable - it would blow a breaker if used and had a burnt smell. Sink faucet needed replaced. Back door was peeling.

The hotel room was tolerable. Bathroom clean and air worked. Slept on top of bed covers used my own blankets. The electrical outlets in bathroom and 2 in room did not work. The refrigerator was old and rusted. The door to balcony was weather beaten and peeling. The pool was green. Very noisy. Staff was very friendly but nothing w as done to pool entire 3 days.

This is an older hotel and it shows on the exterior. But the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful

Not enough parking rooms have a smell not a good smell at that pool was green. Never again

OVERALL NOT BAD BUT COULD USE A MAINTENANCE PERSON FOR OVERALL UPKEEP, WOULD BE JUST OK, OTHER SAME QUALITY HOTEL FOR LESS THE PRICE,

The staff is very friendly & you cant beat how cheap it was for a room on the beach with ocean view...but the room is out dated & the beds are dirty looking. The pool is closed down the jacuzzi is closed down..the ice machine does not work.

it was definitely something. When we pulled in i was not expecting what i saw. the hotel room to check in was the same condition as the rooms. The doors could use a little rebuilding, but the balcony was very nice i enjoyed the balcony and oceanfront view. There was not a outside pool anywhere just tables and chairs. The elevator sounded scary, so we always took the stairs [3rd floor]. Sorry, but i will never stay there again.

Great location ,The staff was very friendly and helpful clean rooms every unit has an ocean veiw id stay there again

This is a nice clean place. No frills or anything but you cannot beat the view, Every room is ocean front with a nice size balcony. The view is just awesome and cannot be beat especially for the money. We ended up staying an extra night just because of the value and the view alone!!

Me and my husband took our 11 month old on our first vacation! The hotel was quiet and comfortable I will return next year! I will admit it was a little out dated, and we couldn't get the wifi to work in some parts of the room but the hotel is in a great spot and has a beautiful ocean view ! And very cheap rates!

We came down to North Myrtle to relax and look at some places to live year round. We found some good restaurants, The Bone Fish, Gino's Pizza and K-T Barbecue. The efficiency was clean but very much in need of updating. The location was excellent. The beaches were great and in September almost vacant.

My husband and I wanted to get away after our daughter's wedding, 2 days earlier. We wanted an oceanfront hotel with a pool to relax before we both returned to work. We chose this hotel for the unbeatable price and it had everything we were looking for including a kitchenette. The front desk managers were extremely polite and very accommodating. The hotel was older than we were used to but we were fine with that. We made breakfast and lunch in our room, walked the beach, spent the day at the pool and went out to dinner at night.

The room was right on the beach and very peaceful. It could use some updating but for the price it was good. Also it was clean and people were super nice. I'll be back again.

Thank you for your comments. The hot tub is still of limits due to CDC social distancing guidelines. We have a sign in front saying it is closed. It will reopen when guidelines are relaxed.
