Staff was amazing. Rooms are rustically amazing. Try the hammock. You can text staff with quick responses. Peraonal touches. S'mores at night. Great place to stay in a beautiful little mountain community. We will definitely be back for another stay.
Aside from the standard room amenities, we appreciate the little extra conveniences such as plenty of coat hooks, plug in outlets, white noise machine, and shoe dryer. Parking was easy and the entire compound is dog friendly!

I like that it was close to restaurants and stores. It was close to hiking and Mt. Shasta. The bed was comfortable and I like it was hypoallergenic detergent. I didn't like it didn't have a coffee maker or even a poor over coffee maker. The electric went in and out because of faulty wiring. The shower head was stopped up with calcium and need to be cleaned. So the water barely came out of the shower head. The bathroom door wouldn't shut need to be fixed. The room really needed a deeper cleaning. Also all night long the people above us was stomping on the floor. So no for the price it really wasn't worth staying here.

I wanted this place to really work out. It had a great vibe and the guests were my kind of people. However we were disappointed with service, and facility maintenance. They charged us for accommodations for 3, but only had sheets, blankets, pillows for 2. When we called, we had to try and help ourselves because no staff were available on premises. The closest help was 40 min away. The floor was sticky in the bedroom, and the bathroom lights only intermittently worked. When I eventually got a hold of someone, no discount was offered.
The room and hotel concept is really cool. I just wish the room was not in such disrepair and cleaner. Especially for the rates they are charging.
Liked the ecofriendly approach. We had problems figuring out TV at first. Bathroom was not clean, especially tray under mirror had hair and dirt. Also, shower head leaked and mold along shower wall. Not pleasant, especially for the price. Probably will not stay there again. Too bad because we make the Oregon to Cali at least 2X a year and stop in Shasta area every time.
