We had many issues with this hotel. I contacted Orbitz in advance to cancel the reservation a few days prior to arrival. Orbotz told us to call the hotel directly as they are independently owned and operated. We tried to call them for a period of 12 hours but just rang, no voicemail. Orbitz tried to call too with no response. We decided to follow through with reservation. Upon our arrival, the hotel is basically a motel, very small. The communal breakfast areawas extremely small ftting 3 tables. The water machine was broken. Our room was very dusty and musty There were customers smoking on the balcony and downstairs so i couldnt keep windows opened. When i tried to see if we could leave a day early (2 days in advance), the lady told me to speak to the manager the next day. When i spoke to her, she told me only Orbitz can modify it, which was opposite of what Orbitz said. Apparently they are independently owned and operated, and we as customers had no protection from Orbitz or Best Western. The manager would not bend on releasing us a day early without paying in full. Then even though i checked out a day early i got charged full price. And an additional $116 for reasons undisclosed to me until i got home. If they really have no control of payment, then how can they charge my card more? I found this shady business practices and poor management. I also am pissed i have no protection from Orbitz or Best Western. I definitely do not recommend
Older hotel. But comfortable bed. Good location. Very friendly staff
Staff were very helpful and courteous. I would book my stay at Best Western again next time i come back to Morro Bay

The price I was given was not what I had to pay, there was no service or clean towels and the breakfast was a paper bag with a cupcake
