Upon check-in, I was told that Expedia ‘didn’t pay them.’ It showed in their system that Expedia had refunded me. I explained to them that Expedia had never done that and that I had simply made a slight change to my reservation from 4 people to just one guest. They insisted and I ended up paying again for a one night stay. After they double checked, they realized they were wrong. They refunded me eventually, but it took a while to get my refund.
