Had to park on the street both nights...traffic noise was constant. Went out early for coffee and couldn't get back into room....key had to be reset, had to wake someone up to get back in.

Older motel right on the road but the room was clean. For the $ as long as you know this is a bare bones, high road noise spot, it will fill the need.

Decent hotel, atleast it was clean. I liked how it was right by the highway and the beach. They do a good job with check in and making sure the room has its goodies and so on. I would probably stay here more often.

The manager was very rude to my fiancé. We payed for our room in advance and the manager had an attitude with him.

quiet and well run motel well worth the price near where I needed to be

This hotel was very basic-simple table, bed, sink, toilet, shower and that's it. Our room had a hair dryer, microwave and mini fridge was more than what was expected.

Small, dark room, window to the corridor. Reminded me of a Motel 6 where I stayed 30 years ago for 20$.

In town for one night to pick up one of my vehicles which was being repaired by a nearby shop. It had broken down when I was in town a few days earlier. This hotel was just tine for my purposes. There was free wifi. The 'free' breakfast was only free self-served coffee and cello-wrapped pastries. But this was no deal-breaker for me, as I brought my own food, and thankfully, the the room had a fridge and a microwave. The single queen bed was comfortable (to me) and I slept well.

We needed something close to monterey and laguna seca, this hotel was ok, the room smell a little funny but it was cleaned everyday, that was good.

The hotel is very clean and is run by a professional and courteous staff. The place offers the best value for your money. I recommend this hotel to those who want a good deal and excellent service.

This was an okay hotel for our purpose. We took our daughter to college that weekend and hotels were priced higher because they knew of the move-in weekend. We would have preferred a nicer place and better location, but more reasonable places were already booked. But if you just need a bed to sleep on, this was fine!

Glad to see microwave and refrigerator in the room. It had a bathshower combo which was nice. The hotel itself was difficult to get in and out of very bad parking.

Just needed a place to stay for the night . Comfortable and quiet .

2 minute drive to the beach, walking distance to food and shopping. Friendly staff and free coffee

We really liked it! Room was clean and comfortable. Noice from the road didin't bother us at all.

Just needed a room for the night for a cheap price. The room was decent. Floors are a bit creaky. Was fine for what I needed, which was a place to crash.

Nothing to complain about. Just The parking lot is a little bit crazy .

Nice room, but the sheets have been on the wrong side. . . .

Beds were very hard. Near a busy street. Nice people

We were spending one night in Monterey, passing through and visiting the Aquarium. We looked for a budget motel as the Aquarium is pretty pricey. This motel met our needs. A place to shower and sleep. Beds were acceptable and clean. Room was simple, with a small fridge and microwave. TV remote didn't work. The hotel sits on a busy boulevard. With the A/C running on high, the ambient noise created helped block out the sounds of traffic. Walls and floors seemed thin though. Parking is limited. There were packaged pastries and coffee at the desk in the morning when we checked out. That was unexpected and nice. Just behind the motel is a huge shopping center with lots of choices for restaurants. All in all, if you aren't snobby or rich and just need a clean bed, I would recommend this motel.
