Great staff
No parking! Had to walk 5 blocks to a parking garage & pay $20 per day.
The room was better than I expected and it had a big bath tub. Services were nice and everyone was very helpful
I would give a 5 star but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. To put in perspective, I am 110 lbs and a side sleeper. When I woke up, my body felt like it was hit by a bus. My arms were so sore, they felt like the day after the flu shot. My hips were sore, I can't even sit comfortably. My body ache lasted for 3 more days after the hotel stay.
I travel a lot — and with a small dog. Usually we get shoved into some unrenovated, nasty, musty room way down at the end of some long corridor — even at the “nicer” hotels. This experience couldn’t have been more different! The room was clean, fresh, neat, and convenient to the elevator (important for frequent dog walks). My pup and I stayed for four nights, and the staff were great with her; she formed her own fan club! And there’s even a small off-leash park right across the street! The staff here are fabulous. They arranged a waaaay early check-in and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was comfy and that I had everything I needed. If ever I’m in Minneapolis again, I will for sure stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. 👍
All I really want from a hotel is cleanliness, a decent bed and a kind staff. This Hilton had all of those. It is blighted by a building 100 ft outside the front door that looks like it was bombed out. Valet parking is a necessity because the area by the front door is clogged and inconvenient. All of the problems here, if you can call them problems, are due to its physical location and there is nothing to be done about that. It was convenient to the home of the people we were visiting and I would stay again because of that and all the positive things mentioned above.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very busy day for them and they kept a positive attitude.
Good fitness facilities, pool was great for our skin, food was good but servings could habe been larger.
When your website says "complimentary breakfast" it should be included and not charged $10 when you get there. Heard other guests inquire about the matter also. Will probably stay at Holiday Inn Express next year since they always include a complimentary breakfast.
Very nice, clean, modern facilities without good amenities all in working order. The location was good but not great-- in downtown Minneapolis, but not too close to a lot of great food choices.
Good Location
The Garden Inn was a nice property. The room was spacious, the staff was efficient. There was limited choices in the restaurant and there weren’t many dining choices in the immediate area. The metro light rail was six blocks away.
Nothing notable
