Booked the room fo Ocean View through Orbitz. Hotel did not honor the deal. Got a room with pool view. Orbitz needs to work with hotel to ensure this does not happen again for other travelers.

Food was great. Loved having a choice besides buffet. Buffet was good too. Staff was great. Lots of entertainment around the pool. Enjoyed AmericaX Alexa, Lucy, Julia. Had a great time. The only 2 complaints are the rooms are lacking in decor and comfort. They needed some color and newer linens. Maybe a comfortable chair and table. And the maid service was awful. Had to finally go to front desk and complain about lack of maid service

Location is on the Pacific, yet views toward the Sea of Cortez and Cabo marina. Incredible architecture, set into steep rock formations. Whales spouted within view from our balcony. And great access to town, walking distance. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

The property is very well-maintained and built into a hill side which makes for wonderful views on the Marina and Oceanside. Obviously not everything can be perfect at any resort but the staff works hard to make sure that they do whatever they can to meet your satisfaction. Perhaps the chief geographic benefits of staying at that hotel is that you can easily walk to divorce beach and lovers beach . you have to walk up and down a steep rocky path but it's well worth it and you're a fool if you don't . At the base of the rock trail I was fortunate to have the good timing to be able to assist a few newly hatched sea turtles as they made their way to the pounding surf. I'll remember several of the terrific staff for a long time to come ( you know who you are !)and look forward to returning soon

I booked 2 rooms from Orbitz w/ VIP+ with $100 resort credit per room. When trying to use it in SPA, I have to forward the email to them from Orbitz & was told That only $25 will apply for any of the SPA services & the rest can apply to buy a bottle of wine per .Carlos ,the manager.I spent 30 minutes for this inconvenience I can't apply the resort credit without paying for something. I felt that the resort credit is a "gimmick" to entice you to book thru them. When I was checking out to apply the $25 credit for each room, I have to spent more than 30 minutes to get it inspite of telling them I have a shuttle picking me up @11AM. The shuttle has been waiting outside till 11:10AM & still not taken care of & my daughter has to take care of it as I left. The hasstle & frustration is that I have talked to the SPA people 3 days before & Carlos. When SPA people was called, I was told they don't know about the resort credit & Carlos was not there. A supervisor in charge & reception staff took so long to resolve the issue. I PAID $4200 for 2 rooms for 5 nights. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! Carlos gave us an upgrade on our last 2 nights & was happy about this & will rate them good, but, on our last day of Jan. 2 after 3 requests to refill our refrigerator & was promised by concierge thru phone & went down personally to reception around 9PM & staff promised to take care of it, nothing was done to refill our ref. & the BIG INCONVENIENCE ON OUR CHECK OUT, WE DESERVE BETTER ! I AM NOT HAPPY

My family had a great time in this hotel. We stayed in a junior suite and we loved it. We saw few whales from our balcony and the views were spectacular. All inclusive and room service was great. Only thing I'd say that there are not much options for the sea food and vegie lovers. There are pools for kids so they have pool activities for them as well. We will def plan to come back to this hotel. Thanks for the hotel staff for making this an awesome trip.

I stayed at this facility for 4 nights and with with 8 other couples. Not to my knowledge they did not have roaches in their room but I stayed in room 1211 and consistently roaches were in this room and that was very uncomfortable for me. The staff however was very friendly and the views were beautiful from the resort my only issue was with the roaches. That's just horrible to go on vacation and live with roaches.

Stayed 4 nights and 5 days was great pool and beach was nice will go again to the same place

Go up north a bit to the Los Cabos area, it's much better! Came for a wedding (which was awesome) with a large group. To a person we were disappointed with the food, felt like cut-rate cruise fare, nothing stood out except for the appetizers for the post-ceremony cocktail hour. Food at the pool area was better and drinks were good. The beach has a terrible rip tide so there's no swimming without a bus or water taxi ride. Mostly the staff was really nice, a few were rude but they were NOT on point...one couple in our group wewasre given a room that was already taken so they walked in on the people already in the room which was awkward.

To upgrade the room to the 21st century, you will have to spend $150usd per night u less you are ok with old rooms with tiny bathrooms. Too spread out to enjoy and only 1 lunch option available. Don Diego restaurant has limited food options and way too many exclusive spots in the resort I.e. Exclusive members pool and exclusive restaurant. Overall, location to town was a plus (5min cab ride to downtown) and decent cafe. Apart from that I would recommend a newer resort with better amenities.

Only negative was they attack you 1st thing after a 13 hour trip wanting to sell you a membership! Wanting to set up a tour etc! You have to survive this at the airport and on the streets but I was put off at the resort! The resort is amazing and comfortable, great service. Amazing views every where! Food is good too. Plenty to do near by but the beach is a no swim beach. We had a wonderful time!

Overall loved our time at Sandos. Staff were awesome and the hotel is perfectly placed beautiful and friendly. We would stay here again wothout hesitation. Only one thing that we would change is the bed; a little to firm but we still got good sleep. Overall we are agreed that Sandos rocked and will return soon to stay here.

Everything was great with one exception, we had no hot water for showering. The staff was amazing, every single person we came in contact with exuded customer service. The food at the restaurants was good.

Great location. Great food&drinks All the hotel staff are really kind and helpful

Accommodations were pleasant. Although, the swim up bar closes early, & room service takes a while. Gorgeous marina views from this hill top hotel.

Great staff. Goes above and beyond. Everyone made us feel at home. Loved being so close to the marina.

Very nice hotel close to the marina. Staff are very friendly.

Although overall my girlfriend and I had a great trip out to Cabo, there are many aspects of the hotel that I found disappointing. Cabo is a great place for a cheap/quick trip, but I would definitely look at some of the other hotels like the Rio. Some thoughts on my rating below: 1) Probably the most ridiculously pushy time share group I have ever met at this place. DO NOT get pulled into even attending one of these, despite the discount activities they give you. It's nothing short of a scam. I have met more classy used car salesmen. 2) We arrived on a Thursday and they tried the old switch the room trick and gave us a room with two queens. I called and said my booking is for a king and they said they don't have any King's for a couple days. I persisted that I would contact Orbitz and my booking was clear and they found me a room, although the lady was so grumpy when I showed up to switch room keys. 3) Food was average overall, but there is one or two places that had some quality foods. Problem is that it is not always consistent. 4) Lack of activities provided for an all inclusive resort. They don't even let you near the ocean, so you are stuck with pool access only. 5) Some staff were nice, some were terrible. Hence the medium rating. Just depends on who you get. 6) Their affiliations with activities companies are an absolute ridiculousness. 7) Inefficient staff. Coffee shop always has 15 min wait with one person working.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The food was great with many choices and a rotating daily buffet at lunch never had you wanting to eat lunch in town. The staff is nice and courteous attending to your needs in a timely fashion. Obviously tipping makes everything go a bit smoother, that should go without saying. However, it's not needed, as the Sandos is truly all inclusive. The only slip up was at check in, having the front desk person trio talk us out of our large ocean view room, for a more modern room in the other side of the hotel. Still perplexed by that one.

Welcomed to the hotel with a glass of champagne and had our luggage brought in by one of the employees. The room was nice, cold, and clean. The Pool area was nice and so was the beach area. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and courteous. Breakfast was great and the view up top was nice. Perfect for couples and for big groups of people
