Rooms were ready when we checked in at the check in time of 3:00 p.m. No washcloths were included when they had to bring us towels after we checked in. When we left the next morning and arrived back at our rooms, housekeeping had been in our room but nothing was done (our room smelled of weed!). Our rooms weren't cleaned and we had to ask for clean towels (again). When we checked out, the person at the front desk was obviously busy doing something other than working (plus she smelled of cigarettes) as she was a little put out that I was coming in to check out..

Very poor nasty environment dirty room really ugly experience

Parking. Rooms and bathroom's were very old. I'd never stay there again.

I booked it because it said it was a Ramada only to find out it is a tiny motel.

The TV was convenient but had a few shows that would not work, the showers look very over used and dirty, the telephone is very old(didn't even know those existenced), overall just makes you feel uncomfortable and more aware of your surrounding outside.

This was previously a Ramada. The outdoor signs have not been changed, which made it difficult to spot from the freeway. The entire hotel has tile floors which makes it very loud as people walk down the hall. The room was subpar and the bathroom was not very clean.

The hotel is very old and dirty. Bad maintanance.

Grounds were dirty, room had roaches and staff was very rude.i will not be staying at that hotel again and will not recommended it to anyon . The only good thing was the bed it was very comfortable.

Wonderful staff! Pleasant area! Very nice view and easy access to convenient areas!

We were cold and tired and had worked until midnight. We needed easy and got it.

Bad experience. The first night there the staff gave someone else a key to my room and entered at 4:45 am. A security issue! The maid service did not replenish the soaps unless asked. The iron was missing from the room. Unhappy with the service to say the least.

nice hotel. the staff was very friendly i had some issues with my key and the took care of it right away. it was in a good location

In spite of being very close the freeway , it was very quiet .We were able to relax.the breakfast was good.I would give it 3 stars

The hotel is fine for trip to Yosemite National Park

For the price you pay, I expected more. I stayed at another hotel the next night for half the price. The other had a better breakfast. The staff person was GREAT tho. She was nice and helpful.

We travel to Merced to see family and this is the best place for the money, and the motel is off the hwy so it is road noise quite. The staff is nice and we are always glad to turn.

The Ramada was a great bargain for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful

Trusting the name "Ranada" does not mean you will get the quality expected. Drapery sagging and broken. Faucet handle for hot water broken. Breakfast did not include fresh fruit or fruit juice but powdered juice. Tried to make the best of it.

Not happy with the room, very dirty and the continental breakfast was horrible. Was in town for my uncles funeral, horrible experience.

It is rated as a 3 star hotel, and its price is a little below average price. however, you will get only what you paid for, don't expect more, even average level of this kind of hotel. We are going to Yosemite Valley and thought this is a close gateway and will have better quality than the lodges and small inns close to the park. It is a mistake. Although it is under Ramada's name, the place is more like a motel. The room has old furniture, 30-years old TV, it also needs repaint and changing the carpet. Water pressure is low--don't know why. it takes much longer to finish a shower. The Pool is located across a busy out-door parking lot, it is a kind of strange and inconvenient for guests to use it. It is definitely not worth of $70+ per night. The breakfast starts at 7:30am. It is a kind of late if you want to go to Yosemite to catch some early morning hiking. The quality is so dad that there is no protein source in all options (except some in-house made yogurt), most food looks cheap--not even from a decent grocery Albertson or Ralphs. It is far below standard like those two star hotels like Hampton inn. The breakfast area can only allow 10~ guests siting. The chairs and tables are very old like from a yard sale. We did not bother to eat anything at all, Starbucks or McDonald across street are more reasonable. Most of the staffs are Indians (looks like a family-running hotel), they are friendly and helpful. But it is hard to satisfy guests with such a hardware. Obviously, the owner wants to cut their running cost and also cut the price to attract guests. But I believe the quality/price is lower than average at even 2-star level. so, don't be fooled by the price and their star level. You will only get what you paid for.
