The front desk and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My room showed signs of wear to the carpet, furniture and bathroom fixtures. The location was perfect for the event I was attending in downtown Pasadena!

I booked a room through Expedia for one night to attend a funeral. Within an hour of booking, I realized that I booked the incorrect location and immediately called the hotel to cancel and get a refund. I was on hold for over 20 minutes, when someone finally picked up the phone and told me that there was nothing they could do, that I had to contact Expedia. Expedia was very helpful and contacted the hotel multiple times, with the intent to get my refund. However, Hyatt Place Pasadena refused to provide a refund. If I could give this hotel ZERO stars, I would. This hotel has zero empathy for their guests.
