No 1 The Mansions by Mansley

We stayed in No 1 The Mansions for 5 nights and were pleased with the amenities and staff. The location is fantastic as it is a 5 min walk to the tube, dining choices, and a market. Staying in Kensington was convenient as it was a nice break away from busy London. The only downer was the temperatures were hot and the only AC unit was in the family room; thus, the back bedroom became quite warm at night. The hotel did supply fans, which helped ease our discomfort. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!

We stayed in apartment 2B for 3 nights. We arrived in London early that morning and we couldn't check in until 2:00, but still the very nice receptionist let us drop our baggage on in a room, freshen up in the bathroom, and drink some water. We really appreciated that! When we came back, our room was ready. There are different "mansions" and they are not connected, but that is ok. Our room was 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom. We were all impressed at first sight. There is a little foyer that leads into all the other rooms. The first bedroom with 2 twin beds was nice and really big. Nice big bay window. Then, the sitting area was another large room with couches and another bay window, with a table. The kitchen was convenient, very modern, and had good table. Bathroom nice and clean :)! Second bedroom had two twins as well, was comfy. Master bedroom is very nice, good size, with large closet and master bath. The hotel was mostly pretty quiet. Also, the location is awesome. It is almost next to Earl's Court tube station and this whole area has tons of shops, restaurants, and more. One more thing, the wifi is free and good for most of the apartment. If I had to give some criticisms, I only have one - the TV was a little small and was in a weird location, would have been better mounted over mantle instead of behind desk.

We stayed here recently, to say I was impressed was an understatement. The apartment was divine, like something out of 'breakfast at Tiffany"s". Every thing you could possible need was catered for. The rooms were well laid out, the living rooms spacious and the kitchen amazing. I wanted to buy it! Great service too.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June. We rented a ground floor 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and really enjoyed it. Location was amazing, staff were really helpful and organized our pick up at the airport and oyster cards also. would definitely return.

My son and I had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor. The location was great with restaurants and the Tube station close by. The kitchen and bath were well appointed and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very willing to help with anything we needed. The only complaint would be that the sofas were a bit old and uncomfortable.

A three generation family of 6, we found the flat had plenty of room for "down time" as well as a great location near the tube station. The location was perfect for a London experience. There were plenty of food choices within walking distance. The welcome basket of breakfast items was a big hit too!

My family and I travel 5-6 times per year. Our family of 5 always rent apartment hotels/ condos. We stayed at the Mansley mansions on Earls Crt June 7&8, on the 6th floor. This was probably the absolute worst, most expensive ($400/night) dingy hotel we've ever rented. We had to walk up 6 flights of stairs to get in/ out of hotel because the elevator was so frighteningly creaky and slow (50+ years old?) Customer service was nonexistent. Basically had offices on first floor with 5-7 clerks in private offices glued to their chairs and computer screens and chatting w each other and ignoring you. All the clerks left the building around 5 pm so there was no one to answer your questions after hours. You were on your own. It was frustrating. The rooms were so cramped that the head and foot of the master bed abutted the walls so I had to climb over my husband to get to my side of the bed. My daughter slept on the sofa couch in the living room and when we pulled out her bed, there was no walking space left in the living/dining room. Wifi connection was terrible. It made it very difficult to look up maps online. I don't know where all the other good reviews came from. They seem to describe another hotel. (By the way, we stayed at their sister hotel, Knights Residence in Edinburgh, Scotland the following days and that was great). However, the No 1 mansions on Earls Crt in Kensington, London was a terrible and ruined my entire London experience.

Stayed for 2 nights with 6 friends to celebrate birthdays. The apartment was way better than we expected. Lovely en suits dining room kitchen with all lovely appliances massive bedrooms... we loved it

Went to London for an extend bank holiday weekend. The Apartment is well decorated and provides all facilities required even proved a free bag for shopping! Only thing which is it's quite complicated to get to the apartment when in jade the building everything else is decent. Recommend this place for short stay and would consider booking with them again next time visiting London.

The apartment was great for us, the bedrooms are not so big, but for our stay was great. The area is close to Earl's Court station, you can get an Oyster pass to go to main London areas. You can walk around and if you are into adventure walk beyond Earls Court Road and be around a nice Kensington neighborhood. You have several mini markets to buy food to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner, if you are not into cooking, for breakfast you can go to Paul's (French bakery and cafe) or Cafe Nero. The lift is small, so if you are a big family group, you need to make two trips or use the stairs (long ride :) ). Overall, a great place, great location and we enjoyed the stay completely.
