Novotel London Tower Bridge

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Walking distance maybe 15 min, to Tower of London & Tower Bridge. You can take the boats on the Thames from there to Westminster or Greenwich to see other sites. Restaurant & bar closes very early @ 11pm. No room service after 11 pm. But very fun lively bar/restaurant

Everything was brand new and modern. The room had 1 queen bed and 2 single beds for the kids. We enjoyed the gym and the SPA downstairs. The restaurant had nice food that was fairly priced. And the location was amazing - accross the street from the tube and 5 min away from the Tower Bridge.

Kids would run from the underground ( just around the corner) to the hotel to go to the gaming room-- that was their highlight of the trip. Breakfast was a great spread. Although not too many dining options nearby, the hotel restaurant options were reasonably priced.

There was serious construction going on during my stay. No concessions were made Otherwise, the hotel was clean and checking-in and checking-out was simple. Good for business travel.

The Novotel Tower Bridge is a great place to stay and is close to my meeting locations. The staff were friendly and the cost was very good when purchased as a flight & hotel combination. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The most positive thing is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is dated, "old", compared with nearby hotels (Grange City). The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was no shower cap or hand lotion provided, you had to ask for it. The flat screen TV had minimal number of channels: no business channels like Bloomberg or CNN. On the plus side, it had a VGA port so you can connect your laptop to TV; you need to bring your own cable. The restaurant buffet was ok, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful; they need to watch for little kids using hands touching the food, or coughing without covering their mouth and spreading germs all over in the middle of winter...(you can't rely on indifferent of careless parents not minding their kids). The location of the hotel is "out of the way"; ok for doing business in the City, but limited for tourism (The Tower of London and the bridge...That's all). So the hotel is ok in a pinch, but likely I will look for another one on my next trip.

The hotel is very modern, very clean and in a great location! Walking distance to the tower of London, half a block from tower hill station! Great hotel!

Great hotel. Got a bargain online and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Super quick Tube access and convient walk to the Thames. Rooms clean and with real queen beds!

The staff at the hotel and in the dining room were really nice, very helpful, and polite. Their suggestions for dinner and pubs were perfect. The hotel was clean-our room looked new, good size, and modern. Shower was nice. This hotel is close to the subway and rail stations so travel and sightseeing is easy. Nice to be able to get back to your room before dinner.

The hotel was very clean and updated. Breakfast was the best surprise. Be sure to pay attention to the signs that tells you when the busy times are. The hotel was near all public transportation. Check-in was a breeze. Staff members were friendly and helpful Although they offered free internet in the lobby, it would have been even better to have free WiFi in the room.

Novotels are typically nice, and this one is no exception. The staff, all of whom are not native English persons, are not very knowledgable of the area. Some of them are quite difficult to understand in terms of communication. Only one was both fluent and very helpful. I would suggest that Novotels worldwide have at least one native language speaker at the front desk at all times.

I was staying in Oxford for the week but spent a couple of days in London before going home. I was traveling alone and wanted a place I felt was safe. This was an excellent choice. Good price, tastefully decorated, clean and the location was wonderful. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a great view of The Tower of London. When I walked outside and to the corner, I did not have to consult my map. The Tower was in plain sight and just a 5 minute walk away as was the Tower Bridge and a lot of other wonderful places. Get The Original Sightseeing Bus Tour tickets online (and save) and you can get them activated by the Tower of London instead of having to make your way to Piccadilly or the Vistor Center to activate tickets.

Dear Karen, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Novotel London Tower Bridge. It is always a pleasure to receive feedback in order to always improve our services. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed our location and bar. After 11pm, it's possible to have a room service after 11 pm but the choice is limited because our kitchen is close. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon. Sincerely,
