Amazing hotel. Amazing location. Amazing staff. This hotel exceeded above and beyond my expectations. Truly, and amazing experience.

The hotel is a pleasant walk of a few blocks from the Holland Park tube stop. The street is lined with beautiful trees, and has many shops and restaurants. We had dinner at one of the restaurants, food was excellent, and breakfast at another, delicious as well. There is a small grocery store, two bakeries, a Starbucks and a deli with fresh cheeses, wine and even organic yogurt. Very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were able to check in early, have great English breakfasts each morning, and enjoy the sights of London with the ease of an underground station close by.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, as was the concierge. The breakfast buffet was great as well (special order an omelet) and free for us gold members. However, they do no give gold members access to the executive lounge.

The shower was broken when I got there but I didn't know it until I was already in it. Tried to make the best of it but the head fell off and sprayed me in the face, ruining the blow out is just had done. There were hairs in the shower and towels that were not mine and the bathroom had a weird odor so I had to leave the door propped open to be able to stand it.

Breakfast was perfect. But hotel overall was not clean. Could not connect to public Wifi always force me into payed opinion

Our stay was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The location was very good for us and near where our daughter was staying for the summer. The price was very reasonable for the amenities available. All-in-all, I would recommend this hotel for the Kensington area.

Everything great, except that they tried for the 2nd time to charge for the stay, which has entirely been paid upon reservation

I spent 4 nights at the London Kensington Hotel with my boyfriend on vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge was extremely knowledgeable and the bellhop wouldn't even let us carry our bags out of the taxi we arrived in. Staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were extremely nice too. The room itself was bigger than we imagined. Europe hotels are known to Americans as small and this was average in size - about the same as what you'd expect in NYC. The chambermaid kept it clean and replaced towels and sheets every day. The hotel is conveniently located in between 2 tube stops on the Central line. However, they are far out towards the end of zone 2. Not in a convenient place to walk and see anything, but a quick ride to the nearest attraction. With an underground day pass, you're good to see anything and will be able to get around London quick. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to anyone traveling to London. It is affordable compared to other hotels. However, as a chain, it lacks the London "charm" one might be looking for, but we were willing to sacrifice that for good service, safe neighborhood, and convenience.

Most enjoyable, nice friendly staff and help from all

The area was great and housekeeping was excellent. Tour services were available and at good value.

The hotel was very clean and new. The room had everything you need all in good condition, coffee, tea, hot pot, large flat screen TV. The breakfast was a large English breakfast all you can eat, very good. The location is good. We had 2 nights and one day. We got the hop on hop off bus at the hotel at 8:15am, did the compleat tour then went again got off at the London Eye. Then did a cruise on the Thames, that came with the bus trip. The price of the hotel with breakfast was great. Free internet to print airport boarding pass would be helpful. The staff would not do it. J.R. Tampa Florida USA

The hotel was OK. Room was reasonably clean. It had a flat screen but it only had 3 channels. The breakfast was an absurd 20GBP. Staff was relatively polite. It close to Shepherd's Bush station with is Zone 2, so you do need transportation to get to the city's attractions.

We did not expect perfection, as we needed pleasant stay for watching Wimbledon and sightseeing of London. The location is excellent, and the area of Kensington is nice and quiet by default. However we do have a couple of remarks we did not expect from Hilton brand:- Rooms are quite small. This particularly bothers when it comes to closet space, which we find unbeliavely shallow and narrow. The big ironing board and iron only worsen the impression, the iron sucks anyway.- TV set belongs to 2* hotel and eighties.- Bathroom could be larger and the faucet should not be fountain- [...]OK, this might be up to me- You'll get room slippers if you ask for it- We asked twice the concierges about taxi fare to Heathrow. Both times they responded they'll arrange for a flat rate of GBP 45. Eventually we paid GBP 52 to the driver and regarding flat rate he said 'nobody told me :)'Despite this, [...], we find Hilton Kensington being good value for what we paid for it, however, it is far below value in comparison to official rates.

The original room was twin beds. it was changed next day to king bed at no additional cost. The first night they triedto sell me an adapter for my computer. Next morning they gave it to me free! They respect your wishes for cleaning the room.

I enjoy the Hotel. The location was convent to shopping, eating and the London Underground. I would totally stay at this hotel again in my future travels to London! I would also recommend that others stay at this location. Friendly hotel staff & very helpful.

Easy to get to from Heathrow. Quiet, restful and cosmopolitan area of London, a little bit out of the hubub.

The hotel was in a good location, easily accessible by public transit, and the room was very clean. The room was a little outdated, with most of the appliances (TV, hair dryer, etc.) and decor looking like it came from the early 90s. Taking a shower was annoying because the shower head made the water too powerful for the flimsy shower curtain. Every time you stepped out of the bathtub, you put your foot into a large puddle of water.

The concierge service was impeccable. They are probably the most helpful I have ever encountered. The rest of the staff was wonderful too.

This hotel has a smoking floor sandwiched between non-smoking floors. They put us first in a room right below the smoking floor and boy, you would have to completely lack any and all sense of smell to not notice the stench. So then we walked another mile back downstairs (more on that below) to ask to change rooms and this time we ended up 3 floors above the smoking floor. No matter because everything reeks of cigarette smoke, which they try to mask with some unfortunate scent, which makes it worse. The hotel is HUGE with a gazillion rooms per floor. This could be a concern for single women walking to their rooms by themselves. You could be walking under very low ceiling corridors for a while before you reach your tiny room, which would be kind of okay if it wasn't for the Ikea furniture they have for bed. The bathroom is also very small, it's hard to maneuver in the narrow bath tub no matter how svelte you are, and who the heck keeps a hair dryer attached to the back of the desk drawer in a hotel room? And by the way, bare minimum necessities such as soap (one and no replacement) - no shower cap. The towels were almost as bad as the ones you find in a gym - old and dingy. The location is okay because of the proximity to the tube, but since it's located in a posh neighborhood everything around there is expensive. It's also on a VERY busy avenue (that leads to a highway) so expect a lot of traffic which I guess is okay if you stay in a back-facing room like we did. The rate was okay but in the end I'd rather have spent a little more to stay in a nicer, smaller hotel. I would not recommend this sordid place at all.
