A lot of things in the room needed updating. The area where the hotel is located does not look safe to walk in. The restaurant inside the hotel has good service and our dinner turned out well.

Hotel was clean and straightforward. In a great location close to the central tube line. But the room we were in was pretty run down and very small for 2 people and the price we paid. Would only stay here 1-2 nights if you don’t plan on being in your room much.

we went on a Trafalgar tour so I understand we would not get the best hotel room they had but this was awful. the room was so small we could only open one suitcase and it had to lay on the desk. Approximately 12 inches was all the room around the bed. The carpeting was torn, bathroom door frame beat up. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. It would appear that the building could use a major face lift.

Check-in was great, the room in general was good, and perfect bed. The Bathroom was not great, the bath was narrow, the shower was weak and the shower curtain was too keen to wrap around me - Would have preferred a room with a shower only, not a shower over a bath. Despite that, I would consider this again and will request a shower in the future.

The hotel lobby is dated & tired along with our room. A musky smell along the corridor. Chipped paintwork and peeling wallpaper in the room only confirmed to us that the hotel needs a major overhaul. Not even a glass in the room.

A friend and I stayed here on the weekend we arrived for check in at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready. Staff were more than accommodating and we were given complimentary drink vouchers until the room was ready- this was done quickly. It was a very busy weekend (probably due to the football) so we didn’t mind the wait. The room was tidy and spacious- double bed. Very quiet and the blackout curtains were perfect. All staff were very friendly and greeted us in passing. I will be staying here again as it is close to a huge shopping complex and transport.
