I like the hotel and I will come back thank you Karim you made me feel like home. I will recommend the hotel to all my family and friends. Also the location in amazing. And the rooms is good. We will come back every year.

I stayed at the Thistle Bloomsbury for 5 nights in July 2017. I found the front desk staff to be kind and courteous. The breakfast was fine during the week but on weekends, the rooms must be a full capacity because we could barely move around the dining room area. Our room was quiet and well located with just enough room for us. The wifi was good and the hotel was within walking distance to the British Museum and the Russell Square subway. I would return.

We stayed 2 nights and the hotel staff were fab. Yes, rooms are small but everything you need and very clean. Check in was great a really helpful lady, friendly and efficient just what you want on arrival. The location is perfect for most parts of London. As the weather was fab we walked everywhere. Good for the theaters and Covent garden. Also good restaurants and bars nearby.Bar really good and breakfast was excellent. There is a lift don't know why a previous reviewer said there wasn't?

Please dont book this hotel if you have kids or elderly member of family as they don't have any lifts and it is quite backward not have lifts in the hotel in this day and age. Rooms are small and bathorooms are vey very tiny

Small rooms but clean Although nit a great bathroom or design with shower tray and curtain! Breakfast was ok nothing to write home about, staff not the most inviting and welcoming first thing in the morning. Glad I only paid £115 through living social rather than the room rate on booking.com

The check-in was very efficient and the staff friendly and courteous. The breakfast was excellent and everything about our visit was good, but our room and bathroom was very small and quite dated. I booked a twin room as my daughter and I were travelling together but there was hardly any place to open our suitcases as it was so cramped. However, it was clean and well serviced and the location was great so all in all, we were very happy with our stay.

This is a good hotel in a very central location. Rooms are comfortable and so are beds. Good level of security and service and the Russell Square Tube station is about 4 minutes walk away. Bathrooms a little short of storage space (but could just be my room). We opted for a room at the back of the hotel as off the main road (it can get very loud with sirens and general noise at night). We would have had to pay 12 pounds extra for breakfast but we opted to go to the lovely restaurant/cafe in Russell Square Park which does a wonderful selection of breakfast food and drinks for a round half the price or less. Would I return- yes but also look at other options around the same area as these include breakfast.

We stay here for 2 nights and an amazing time. The staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are nice and the beds comfy. We Slept really well. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and it was really nice

The hotel was always very clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. If that's what you need in a hotel, you are in luck. But the rest of the stay was just... well... quirky. We were on the 3rd floor (4th as the first floor starts at 0) and there was no elevator. There is no air conditioning. And no screens in the windows. The sun and birds are up at 5am and so are you if you open your windows and leave the drapes open. There is a single outlet, so you have to choose whether to: - watch tv - turn on the fan (remember, no a.c.) - turn on the lamp - charge your electronics There were no sheets, only a down comforter. The bathroom has a fan that runs like a jet engine for about 15 minutes after you leave the room. This is great when you finish your shower in the morning. This really angers the wife when you get up to pee at 3am. There is nowhere to put your bags. We stowed one behind the front door, meaning it only opened 45 degrees, and the other was chucked on top of the cabinets. The only way to open the bags was on your bed. There were no refrigerators nor mini-bars. There was a small refrigerator in the lobby with complementary water bottles. These were mysteriously replaced on our second day with a pitcher of water and glasses. I can't take these outside, and can't hike up 4 flights of stairs with a cup of water and any gear. Not the hotel's issue per se, but after four days we got to know the man who lived in the sleeping bag just outside the front door. Again - clean and friendly - but quirky.

This hotel is in a good location, in walking distance of tube stations and even the theatre district. The room we stayed in was slightly cramped however and felt outdated considering the price we paid for the hotel.
