Poor from Apex. Typical Hotels.com rooms.

I got upgraded (apparently) to a superior room. Please see pictures. Thank god it was for one night, arrival late and away early - I was completely overlooked from all windows and couldn’t open the blinds. I also got the welcome drink - don’t get the wine as you can’t choose and you get enough to rinse your mouth. The shower was angled and couldn’t be moved to get the water on your body. Poor from Apex. I have 6 nights next week for my team and personal trip - I hope it gets better or I’m taking my business else where. Room 321

Affordable for the location

Room and hotel had amenities, and it was clean and quiet. Location was pretty good, with easy access to the tube, but with luggage be sure to use the back entrance -- the front is a load of steps. Breakfast was overpriced, especially with a great sandwich shop across the street that opens early and serves tasty and affordable bagels and croissants. I definitely recommend the Scottish smoked salmon with cream cheese over there.

This hotel was a great find. The location was great, the building is impressive and the interiors are fresh modern and spotlessly clean. What sets this hotel apart for me though is the service. Staff are all friendly and genuinely want the guests to be happy. Special mention to Gill on reception. Extremely warm and really went the extra mile to ensure we had the best room for our requirements whilst being kind and unassuming. A very welcoming and well run hotel which puts guest satisfaction front and centre. We will be staying with you again for our next shopping marathon! Laura & Sophie :)

Would highly recommend and will definitely return. In the heart of the historic City, just off Fleet Street and a short walk to the Strand or St Paul’s. Despite this busy location the hotel is quiet and I had 2 excellent night’s sleep here. The room was as booked, with a King Size bed and all the things I needed and plus things I’d associate with a premium room. The hotel offers a lot more than I needed on my stay but I would call out the outdoor area which seemed very popular with people starting/finishing their evenings. Oh and the duck :)
