The room’s air conditioning kept turning itself on on the middle of the night- we complained after the first night but it happened again on the second night. We were there to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday and the festival of remembrance but because of the lack of sleep it spilt our weekend.

We were given an awful basement room, where the bed is actually positioned under the main road outside. Barely any natural light. Did not sleep due to road noise. We were there on a night when they had a major electrical problem, our room had power fortunately, but we couldn’t didn’t have a working room key. I considered that a security issue! Only got a minor refund for the stay!
