We have recently spent 4 nights in this hotel, basically because the location was close to O2 Arena towards Lady Gaga musical show (that was cancelled). We found this hotel very attractive from following 3 reasons : 1. Its location -- close to the DLR train only 30 minutes from center London. 2. The team -- very cooperative, friendly & professional, assisting us in everything. 3. The room -- we were upgraded to a very nice room at the 9th floor equipped with all amenities and a very comfortable bed. We have also received vouchers for breakfast. We would give this hotel the highest rank, but there was an incident related to water problem in our room, as well as in all the hotel. This was solved very professionally by the team to our complete satisfaction. This means that the management of this hotel acknowledge & accept such failure realizing that the client deserves an apology as well as compensation. This a management that we truly appreciate the way they are managing this hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.
5 minutes walk from Deptford bridge DLT station. Not much in the surrounding areas but you can walk or catch the DLR to Greenwich to find a better selection of restaurants etc. Very friendly and efficient check in staff Clean modern room, but very small! Having said that there was a big bed for being a single room and there was a small workspace although this was a little uncomfortable Good shower and generally a nice bathroom area Breakfast was good and friendly staff but badly let down by very dry bacon
Rooms were modern and spotless. Staff were more than accomodating, very friendly and informative. Breakfasts were top class. Dinner at the restaurant was great too. The personal touch with a freshly baked cookie on arrival, and delivered hot chocolate late at night was lovely.
The hotel is a short distance from the DLR. From the moment you walk in there is a friendly welcome. The whole stay was excellent from the staff, the room and the food. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the room was really nice. The breakfast was really tasty and the evening meal was delicious. The waiter and waitresses were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
We booked this hotel as we were attending the impractical jokers tour . We throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very hospitable and the service was exceptional. Thank you Thank you
I stayed at this hotel on business on 11th October. I did not arrive until after 10.00pm. The service level was reaaly good. I felt welcomed on arrival. The room was clean and comformatable and was decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent. Ocerall I am really satisfied with my stay and will be staying again in the near future.
We stayed in the Hilton Greenwich hotel in an accessible room - it was a good size with wooden floor which made it easy to move around in a wheelchair. However the twin beds were light and moved around while trying to get on and off them and back into the wheelchair which was a little difficult. The wet room was a good size. Access to the hotel is via a back entrance from the car park with a 2 person lift. Hotel doorways are only just wide enough for standard wheelchairs - make sure when booking they know you are in a wheelchair so you get the correct room and help on arrival.
Gr8 stay,no wishes left all were accomodating. The warm cookies received upon arrival was touching along with an espresso machine in the room.Front line staff are the pillars for the success of this property.I would definetly comeback for my any future trips.
The Staff at the Double Tree by Hilton Greenwich were an exceptional bunch of people. The care my Wife and I received was second to none. The bed comfortable. My wife particularly liked the pancakes for breakfast and the food was delicious &well presented
Absolutely loved this hotel . Staff who greeted us on arrival where lovely and polite and we where able to park which was perfect . We upgraded our room a few days before and it was definitely worth it . We got room 905 on the top floor which had absolutely amazing views . Mini fridge was even full of soft drinks and we got warm cookies . They also came round in the early evening with hot chocolate, and it’s the small touches like these that make it a stay to remember . The decor of the hotel and the bar area are stunning , lovely selection of cocktails and close enough to walk to plenty of bars and restaurants or 5min away by taxi . And lovely breakfast selection definitely recommend this place .
