Holiday Inn Express London Victoria

We stayed here 2 years ago as well and I don't remember the hotel seeming so worn and noisy. The room we had this time was pretty tiny, the room was stifling warm even though we turned the radiator all the way down and the road noise made sleep hard to come by (especially if we opened the window to cool off the room). We really like staying in this area of London. It is very convenient but we may have to switch it up next year so we can sleep!

This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where earplugs are provided to keep out the noise of other guests! Walls thin, ceiling creaky and could hear voices. Tiny room at the back. Would have been 2 stars but I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, breakfast, and warmth in chilly London. Oh and it took me about 15 attempts to get in with the key card! And couldn’t find alarm on tv. And didn’t really sleep, which defeats the object. Back to 2

The first room we were given stunk of smoke and had to be given another room which was very small and only glad that as an IHG member we were given special treatment!! How small would the room have been if we hadn't been an IHG member?? The shower pressure was poor.

Had a good stay for one night in London and did the job with a good sleep and standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast. Walking distance from Victorua station although nearest tube is at Pimlico, Was a bit pricey in my view but probably a reflection of a London prices these days. Not much else to say really as didn’t spend much time in the hotel but subject to price would use again.

Yep all the above and maybe a little far out for our needs this time as it's really Pimlico not Victoria but breakfast was good and plentiful and staff seemed friendly and willing to help if we needed

If your looking for a big room this is not the place. However, if you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable, good location and most of all good price. Then this is the place. Spent a few nights here while touring London with my wife. Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. The hotel is a short, less then 5 min, walk from the Pimlico station. You are less then a 20 minute walk from Buckingham Palace or the Abbey. There are a few convenience stores and beer wine store close by. There are a number of nice looking restaurants near by but we ate downtown each night.

Rooms are clean. Breakfast is adequate Staff polite Ok for the price, but do your research, their own prices are more than other sites, even for loyalty customers. Make sure that you check for your things before you leave. We left hoodies behind in the room, when we called to check if they had found they we were told no. This is not the first HI Express to say that nothing was left behind, not sure if they have a policy for lost and found but it does not seem to exist in any country.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express London - Victoria in December 2017. We booked online and the check-in was a breeze. We just had to wait for the receptionist to assist another customer and we were quickly on our way. (Well apart from the lift being extraordinarily slow.) Our room was neat and tidy and bed was just the right size. The heating was quite good but I enjoyed being able to open the window to get fresh air as well. I was surprised that there was no bar fridge but I was told by the receptionist that Holiday Inn Express properties do not have them. We had breakfast included in our tariff and enjoyed the selection of juices, cereals, croissants, muffins and hot buffet food each morning. There was something for everyone really. The hotel is ideally located a few minutes walk from Pimlico train station and there are quite a number of good restaurants within 10 minutes walk from the hotel as well as a mini supermarket. Check-out was just as quick as the check-in. The only negative I would have is that the lift is quite slow and not overly large. I would recommend anyone stay at the property who is looking for quality, budget accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of central London.

Easy to find thanks to some Christmas lights outside the hotel. The room was a good size. It was very tidy and the bed was very comfortable! I did get woken up at 02:00 the first night by a man having a shouty phone call. Other than that, it was quiet and I slept well. Breakfast was impressive! Really enjoyed it. Special mention to Baiba on Reception, who was a superstar throughout my stay. Only downside was that the room was a little expensive. Things are in Central London, though so I can’t complain too much. I felt that the staff excelled and I felt comfortable and safe at the hotel.

This hotel is near Pimlico tube station and not too far away Victoria tube/rail station. The staff was nice and friendly especially the girl that checked me out that helped me to check in on my flight back home since my phone was not working. The breakfast is not the best but it is ok, the breakfast staff could be more friendly and smile a bit. the lift is extremely slow :-)
