The area is bordered by busy shopping areas centred around Mile End Road and Commercial Road, where residents can access local markets and independent and chain outlets. Formerly Stepney’s best kept secret, the East End Thrift Store is a vintage treasure chest with most items priced under £10 and is now popular with more than just hipsters.
Stepney’s centre of gravity is St Dunstan and All Saints church in Stepney High Street. Surrounded by the greenery of its churchyard and roads of pretty, flat-fronted early Victorian houses built by The Mercers’ Company, a leading City livery company, the church is the oldest in the East End. Great stay
Lovely place with all the amenities you need for comfort. Would definitely stay again at the same price point. Good location aswell
Only nitpick is Wi-Fi was extremely temperamental and the check out is a little tedious when In a rush due to the walk.
