We arrived quite late in the evening and after checking in, wanted to quickly get to our favourite restaurant before it closes. The reception was so kind as to let us go off and leave our bags in the lobby where he arranged for them to be brought up to our rooms, I think his name is Gabrielle, thank you so much for this. The next morning we came down for breakfast at the Aubaine restaurant and was greeted by Gaby, we asked for a table for 4, and proceeded to tuck into the wonderful buffet breakfast spread and ordered the eggs cooked to our liking. We would have breakfast here for the next 3 days, and surprisingly, Gaby seemed to remember the number of people in our company and the eggs we ordered. She would make small talks, and we were surprised that she remembered what we had told her about our plans for the day and asked us about it. She was definitely genuine in giving very good service. Kudos to the housekeepig staff too for keeping the room and bathroom clean and neat. We wish to thank all the staff in Hilton Hyde Park for making our stay a wonderful one. They seem to enjoy what they are doing and take pride in giving excellent service.
Very short stay to be in London for business early morning. Location excellent for public transport. Had single room which was small but everything worked and bed was comfortable. Breakfast started at 6.30am which is good for business travellers.
A great option if you want to stay in a nice area of Central London. The front desk staff made me feel welcome and appreciated as a diamond member. You're within walking distance of Kensington Palace, Paddington Station, and Portobello Road. Many Asian and Middle Eastern restaurant options nearby. The Queensway central line tube station is connected to the hotel, which makes this your central gateway to the rest of London. Breakfast is in the Aubaine restaurant next door (best and biggest croissants I have ever had!) and they serve a wonderful buffet of hot and cold items. The hotel is also in a historic Edwardian townhouse, so it's quaint and smaller than your typical Hilton property. Perfect for people traveling solo or with family.
The hotel is nice staff are friendly. The hotel is extremely well connected two tube stations underneath the hotel for the central and circle lines. The room was well equipped with a Nespresso machine. We had a deluxe room which was fairly spacious for a London hotel. The bathroom is not next to the door like most hotels so you can get some noise from the corridor into the room. The breakfast was the normal buffet service of cooked and cold continental. The bar let’s the hotel down a little the cocktails tasted cheap and the layout is a little strange. Compared to the bars at park plaza (riverbank and Westminster Bridge) the bar is distinctly average.
One of the friendliest Hiltons I've stayed in! Reception staff seem genuinely friendly rather than the usual 'scripted' friendliness In some other hotels. The staff seem to enjoy working there and serving customers. Nice rooms too as just had refurbishment. Good location across from Hyde Park
Great location, the Hotel is just in front of Hyde Park which is lovely for walks, biking or walking a dog, the hotel is very central to everything (shopping, tourist attractions and nice restaurants within close proximity). Room was clean and comfy and had a nice coffee machine. The staff was very helpful and attentive. During our stay we received a nice room upgrade, requested late checkin and asked the front staff to recommend a nice restaurant and do a reservation. We found also a nice spa close by the hotel to unwind even more. We are planning to return during the summer next year. Do try the breakfast we took it every day as the selection is great and food really enjoyable.
Do your homework. As a Hilton Diamond member, I assumed that the hotel with the label Hilton would have a business center, lounge and fitness center. This property (great location) had none of the features that I was expecting. The rooms are very small and I mean very small.
Quick weekend away, 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel great location right beside the tube. Breakfast was lovely and the room upgrade was a nice surprise. Rooms are very spacious for a city hotel.
My first time staying at this particular Hilton. Very well located and the rooms quite spacious by London standards. Staff very friendly and the facilities were all as expected from Hilton and as needed by a business traveller. Good job guys!
We visited the Hilton Hyde park last weekend and we were impressed with what we found. Vladimir at reception was polite and welcoming and helped us check in quickly. We were quite early arriving as we like to get out and about so the rooms weren't ready but an upgrade to a larger room (king) and the rooms were available immediately. The rooms were large enough, clean and well presented. A stay on the upper floors is a must with the hotel sitting on top of Queensway tube station. But this is handy to get around easily as it sits on the central line so you can quickly travel into London to shop or visit the many wonderful sites and museums. Check out was smooth and there is a place to leave your bags while you carry on about your day until you are ready to leave.
