Very nice as it was non-smoking, no resort fees, close to action but not in the middle of it. Very nice staff.

Hotel was clean and quiet and a short walk from strip. Good value based on alternatives.

This hotel is an old classic, juuuust off the strip but a short jaunt away, quiet, calm, kitchenettes. It's just too bad there's no longer a restaurant/bar onsite.

Great hotel, good location, Spacious rooms, very clean, just one block from the strip, etc etc etc widely exceeded my expectations.

The hotel was great! Great price and great rooms. I am not a casino person anymore, and this hotel was awesome and clean.

The room was really pretty and looked exactly like the pictures online. We had two beds and a kitchenette and our room overlooked the pool. Any time we called housekeeping for towels, toilet paper, etc. they were at our door two minutes later for what we asked for. The pool was also a really nice feature. We went there to relax one day and towels were provided for us. Only real complaint we had was that the shower head could be higher. It was set very low in the wall and not meant for people over 5'7. We had a great experience here and it was in the perfect location right off the strip. Close walking distance but also not too expensive of a cab ride to get to the end of the strip. If you needed to take a cab, you told the front desk and they hit a button that put on a blinking light outside, then a cab would know you needed a ride and come pick you up.

stayed in this hotel and was very happy about it..nice location and good staff, good aminities etc were just the highlights..Overall, it was too good to stay in this hotel with my kid..i would recommend this to anyone who is travelling with with the kids..

Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, location is just a short walk (5 min) to the strip. Check in was extremely fast and easy. No resort fee was a big plus. The room was comfy with a kitchen/living room area then separate bedroom area. Coffee pot, fridge, etc in the kitchen was AWESOME! Bed was so so on comfort and the pillows were too small. Overall this hotel was a very good choice. It is smaller than most of the other hotels and has no casino/bar/restaurant on site, this was not a problem for us. Being smaller I found the staff much more attentive and friendly than in the bigger hotels.

my in laws were with us and they wanted to visit Vegas (we are in California). We all went with our infant baby - while one of us stayed at night with the baby in this safe, clean place away from the casinos others good go to casinos' for fun. Overall an amazing stay in this hotel.

The Carriage House is a homey suite-style hotel near the Strip. If you want to save money and still be close to the action, you can't do any better! We bought groceries and cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a TV in the living room and in the bedroom. Overall, an extremely comfortable experience!

Why pay the same money in a strip hotel when you can get a suite? Good location. Very comfortable.

My husband and I (63) arrived in the early evening to check in to our studio with kitchenette and were told that due to overbooking we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen-a very pleasant surprise. The hotel seems quite dated, and the lobby is not traditional by any means, but staff very friendly and helpful. our suite was very roomy, clean and furnished comfortably. Pros: very easy walk to Planet Hollywood and the strip.Quiet rooms with 2 flat screen T.V.s; one in bedroom and one in very comfortable living room. King size bed, large walk in closet, one toilet/shower/bathtub, and 2 sinks. Good water pressure in shower. Kitchen had plates, silverware, bowls, microwave, full refrigerator. Cons: one bathroom sink was plugged up and we had to call housekeeping for faulty hairdryer. No garbage disposal.

The Carriage House was the perfect place to stay on the strip in Las Vegas. It is actually located a block off the strip . The location allows you to avoid all the traffic coming and going. We stayed for four weeks. The place felt just like home. We had a one bedroom with a full kitchen. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

It's great that this hotel is not a casino as it attracts a better standard of clientele and the staff are fully focused on being hoteliers and not trying to squeeze every last penny from your pocket. Rooms are well sized and very well equipped. Take your own groceries and make breakfast/lunch in your room. It's about 100-200 metres from the heart of the strip. This is far enough away to avoid a lot of the noise but close enough that the main attractions are within walking distance. Staff were helpful and co-operative with everything we asked of them. I don't recommend going to Vegas but if you must and you wish to hold onto some level of class and dignity then you should stay here.

ten minutes' walk from the Strip. cosy room with lovely kitchenette (which even the resort hotels don't compare to!). a good alternative to the fancy strip hotels. the only thing... we found a used bottle of pills on the desk that's probably left by the previous guest...

Close to the strip with a nice walk thru the miracle mile shopping mall, to the strip. I can't emphasize enough about the peacefulness of the hotel, compared to the the strip a long bock away. Either world you want, close by.

they take care of you. we felt very safe the way they have to elevators set up so unless you have a room key you cannot go on any of the floors. it has everything you need and plenty of room.

Great room with kitchenette amenities was just what we needed as we have a difficult time finding healthy food to eat in restaurants and often bring our own. Note: There is no restaurant at this hotel. We had problems with the free WiFi that the desk person responded to poorly ("I expect you just had some cookies that needed clearing" was what she said when I complained). Parking was a tight squeeze but this hotel is quite near the airport, near the Strip and near MGM if you like their casinos and nightclubs.

Nice hotel. I stay there every time. The staff is not so nice, but the hotel is a good value for the money

The hotel was a great deal. It was located very close strip--within walking distance. It was very clean and modern. We enjoyed having a kitchenette in our room. It was very quiet hotel as well. I will definetely be staying here again!
