The ongoing construction-we can live with that. We knew about it going in and we’re prepared for it. The inconvenience of the pool being closed and having to traipse across the parking lot to the sister hotel to swim- understandable. Being harassed by two squatters using a hotel luggage cart every time we go into the back door by our room, finally calling the front desk to complain and being told they knew about them all day and told them to leave-frustrating. My last straw was when I finally lay my head down on the pillow only to look up at the ceiling to see a roach crawling across. I shot out of bed to call the front desk. They sent a maintenance man with a FEATHER DUSTER who proceeded to flick the roach from the ceiling onto my bed. It scurried across the bed before he could catch it. No mention was even made to change the sheets. At 10:30 at night we took our two preschoolers to a different hotel!! Never again!

When we booked the reservation online there was nothing mentioned that the complex and pool were being renovated. My fiancee talked with the night clerk before we arrived and the clerk never mentioned anything about construction. We would have booked at another property if we had known about the construction. Also the people across the hallway had a dog that barked incessantly.

This hotel is kept up to the standard I have come to expect for a Marriott. (Some other Residence Inns, unfortunately, are well below this standard.) The room was immaculate, bed and pillows great, I loved the fully equipped kitchen that even had dish detergent and a sponge (which is unusual). There were big windows and a big bathroom and plenty of counter space. I wish the windows opened wider, as I try to avoid using A/C, but I understand that the hotel was not want to be responsible for someone falling out. The grounds were immaculate and staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the quiet neighborhood. This hotel would be my first choice whenever I return to Vegas. I felt very much at home there.

In recently stayed at the Residence Inn on Dean Martin Dr and had a great experience. The staff was excellent, friendly and catered to all my needs. They have a great shuttle system to the Main Stip and convenient times for all to use the shuttle system. The rooms were clean and had all the things needed in their kitchens to be able to cook full meals or just something quick. I recommend this location.

We came into town and hands down. This place is not only clean with an amazing breakfast bar, it is so convenient to anything on the strip and beyond in Vegas. You truly have the comforts of home in the city that never sleeps. Thank you for the white glove service. I used the new Bonboy app to request services and items and they were very responsive and delivered every detail. This is why we are Marriott members for life.

This hotel isn't near anything. It's not new. It's not well renovated. The TV is old, as is the kitchen. Not impressive. But the worst part, the part that brought me to write this review, is the bright light installed directly outside my window. Somehow, when designing this hotel, someone thought that guests would really want to have a spotlight outside of their room. Who wants to keep their drapes open at night in Vegas? It's not like there's anything to see at night that can't already be seen during the day... except maybe the Vegas lights, but who wants to see those? Of course, there are no other rooms available without such a light so I'm stuck looking at this crap...

Hotel was pretty good - close-ish to the airport (which is a blessing and a curse, see later in review). Good breakfast (Loved the heart shaped waffles!), great staff (the Australian lady on front desk was brilliant, so friendly and really made us feel welcome!) Rooms up to the usual standard I expect from Residence Inn, and housekeeping was pretty good during our visit. The bad bit was the aircraft noise - admittedly earplugs solved it, but if you're a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you. I'm used to aircraft noise, but with a night-stop. LAS doesn't really have a night stop, so flights were arr/dep all through the night (admittedly only one or two per hour - but enough to disturb sleep)

Came to Vegas for 2 nights. Based on reviews expected this hotel staff to be more friendly. The bed was VERY hard and we ended up putting an extra comforter beneath the sheet to give some extra padding. Staff brought it to us RIGHT away, which was especially impressive given the late hour that we returned to the hotel. Parking in the evening was very difficult. Breakfast was the poorest we have seen at a Residence Inn in the last few years. We ended up going elsewhere our 2nd morning. The toiletries in our room had already been used when we arrived, as evidenced by the lotion dried in the lid and there being no lotion in the bottle. We had no trouble with airplanes- they quieted down overnight and we brought a sound machine. During flying hours they were very loud, but it didn't start up until 8am or so when we noticed it. We read reviews about a very loud club next door but never even saw it. Did not hear anything of the sort. This venue will be VERY close to the new Raiders stadium when it is completed. Would not stay here again if I could find another Marriott brand in the area for a similar price. I would stay here again if the price was amazing.

If I was only reviewing the service this would be a 5 star rating. First, prior to our arrival I received an email asking me if there was anything I’d like them to know/have ready for me prior to our stay. I’ve never had another hotel do this. Check in was smooth. Hotel has complimentary shuttle to the strip, free breakfast, heated year round pool. Since we were traveling with my daughters soccer team the kids brought in a bunch of dirt with them. They did a good job keeping stairway and main areas clean. Where the rating gets lower is the location. The surrounding businesses are sketchy. There is a strip club two doors down. Also, in my particular room certain things needed attention. In the bathroom there is a stain on the light switch that looks like old blood. My husband tried to scrub it off, but it’s on there and needs to be changed. People don’t want to touch something that looks like that. Also, when the bathroom door was closed the door itself had a glob of messed up paint that should be corrected. Otherwise, the other parts of the room were nice. Bed soft and very comfortable.

We stayed here for four nights over New Year's, which may account for some of the issues we had. First impressions count, and we saw no signage to help us figure out where the lobby was when we pulled into the lot. All of the employees we encountered were helpful, save for one seemingly overworked staffer at the breakfast bar. Parking was plentiful and free, a luxury so close to the strip. There was a free shuttle service to the strip and to the airport, which we used. We had a two bedroom, two bath unit with several small problems, none of which were significant, just annoying. For example, some of the outlets did not work, the ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work, and the light and vent over the cooktop did not work. We did report all of this but it was a holiday and no one was available to address the problems. The outside door to the building required a key card to open it (a welcome security measure) but it was temperamental and several times during our stay did not work. Since we were there over a holiday we didn't expect full service on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, but our unit was not cleaned on January 2nd either. Overall, this wasn't what I expect from a Residence Inn but I cut them some slack because it's Vegas and I could see from the behavior of our fellow guests at the breakfast bar that the place was being used hard. The staff had a hard time keeping up with the demand for the free breakfast, partly because the hotel was crowded and partly because of the greedy behavior of some of the guests.
