Worked out well for us as we flew into LAS late at night and just needed a place to crash until going to Hoover Dam the next morning. Not sure it would be ideal location for Las Vegas vacation though. Check in / check out was friendly and efficient. Full breakfast was plentiful with the usual buffet offerings. Room was clean and well maintained. Be prepared to check in one building and stay (move luggage to) another building. Also, note warning signs in the parking lot about theft - so minimize the valuables you leave in the car.
The hotel itself is a typical Residence Inn. I’m traveling with my dogs most of the time so I stay in a lot of them. Rooms clean and breakfast typical. Eggs some sort of meat fruit breads. Hot good coffee which is important. My partner used the shuttle over to the strip and was pleased that it was so easy. That said my car was broken into and things taken. Broke out the back window of the car. While we were assessing the damage 2 other people who were staying there said their cars had either been broken into or attempted break in. The staff was very helpful helping us put plastic over window so we could continue on our trip. The neighborhood is really sketchy. My car was under a light right next to the building. So beware I think it happens pretty often. I understand it’s not the hotels fault they have signs everywhere. But won’t be staying there again if I’m driving.
My room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and I was happy that they had some gluten-free bagels on hand. The neighborhood is definitely not one you'd want to stroll around, but it's nice that the shuttle will take you to the strip or the mall. I do NOT understand the logic behind dropping people off at the airport, but refusing to pick you up. I took a Lyft and it cost about $15. I think this is a great location for a business traveler, but probably not the best for a glamorous Vegas vacation.
I stay in a ridiculous number of Marriotts, of all brands. I chose this one just because I needed a one night stay near the airport, having come into Vegas a day earlier than my conference, and heading out to see the Grand Canyon the next day. Sometimes it's a Gamble with airport hotels, and residence Inns, depending on when they were last renovated. But this one is bright, clean, seems like it was renovated fairly recently. It's been a short stay but I haven't had any issues with staff or amenities. Breakfast is a little on the small side, but all I really care about in the morning is eggs and coffee. Of the three Marriott properties on this block, only the Residence Inn and the Fairfield have free breakfast, and I find the Residence Inn rooms nicer and more spacious. This is one of those "neighborhood" dial Residence Inn properties, so if you have concerns about walking outside between the main entrance and breakfast place, and the building with your room in it, that might be something to consider. No they do not have a shuttle from the airport, but you can request a shuttle to the airport. They also have a shuttle that runs between the three Marriott properties on this block, The Mandalay Bay, and upon request, the town square outdoor shopping mall (which by the way is a good option for dinner or shopping off strip nearby). Just know that the shuttle starts at this property goes to the other to the Mandalay and then Town Square, so you could be better off just hopping in an Uber if you're going straight there. Uber was about 14 bucks from the airport to here.
This hotel was very nice, clean, friendly staff. We were origianlly staying across the street but when our hotel had a malfunction with the alarm system going off for an hour. We got our money back and came here to find a room and they found me one and price matched expedia's price for me. Breakfast spread was pleantiful but really busy with people. Great stay...
My family and I stayed here and were treated like VIP! The room was clean and the cutomer service was quite friendly and sincere!! The hotel very nice and well kept. We had a few request made before arriving and everything we asked for was already in our room. The breakfast was decent and our overall experience was great!! I would stay here again and avoid staying on the strip. The hotel also has great proximity to the stip and many other attractions.
Traveling with the elderly? Well, I checked in with my two 90 year old grandparents, and they put us on the 3rd floor in a room where you either have to walk up the stairs or walk really far to the elevator. Want the free breakfast? Breakfast is free but ends at 9:30, which I'm assuming they do so that less people actually show up, and they can save money. Enjoy not sleeping? The Hotel is directly next to the airport's take off path so every 3 minutes you hear jet engines roar by. Want fresh air? The windows don't open Grossed out easily? They don't use a cover for the comforter, only a sheet in-between, which moves so you end up sleeping with the same comforter (which is probably never washed) as everyone else with nothing protecting you from it. The staff are nice but everything else, isn't. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again...
We stayed at this RI because we were flying out early the next morning. They provide a free shuttle, which begins at 5:00 am and runs every half hour until 8:00 am - then every hour after that. Everything went smoothly for the shuttle service. We stayed on a Monday night and they were having a little snack get-together in the lobby! Chips, veggies, fruit, bread and 3 kinds of dips, lemonade and water. A nice touch. Our king size bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was very clean. They provide coffee, microwave popcorn, shampoo, conditioner, face towelette, body and face soap. They also had a little 'market' area, if additional supplies are needed. There is not a restaurant or room service, but you walk right next door to the Marriott Courtyard and they have a cute little bistro for lunch/dinner. They also offer free shuttles to the strip.
This was our second stay at this particular Residence Inn. We looked at staying on the strip but this place gives us such good value we had to come back. (We are Marriott Reward members as well and love collecting points) We stayed in the 2 bedroom again and loved it. We have 3 kids and after busy days around Vegas my husband and I enjoy having our own room and own bathroom. The other highlights for us are the yummy buffet breakfast, the evening Mixes with food (Monday-Wednesday), full size fridge and the shuttle. We drove down to Vegas from Vancouver, BC and we liked taking the shuttle over to Mandalay Bay and Aria. The shuttle driver we had for the two days was great. We really appreciated his helpful suggestions. My kids loved the pool. It was well maintained for an outdoor pool and a really lovely place to hang out. We found every staff member we interacted with to be friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel has such a nice feel to it. We were able to enjoy the touristy sights of Vegas while having a nice, relaxing place to come back to.
We stayed as a family ( 2 kids and 2 adults) in their 2 bedroom suite in June 2017. The suite is regular - nothing special in terms of size, cleanliness, amenities etc. I would say it is a regular/standard all suite hotel. The only up side is the location which is not very far from the main tourist attractions (we were on a holiday) and is just off the strip . The free internet was satisfactory and all the basis tasks can be completed. The breakfast was standard and there is nothing to complain. The hotel runs a meet and greet kind of a event on 2 to 3 days in the week so that guests could meet and mingle with each other - which i thought was a good idea. Overall it is standard hotel and would stay again.
