Main Street Station Hotel, Casino and Brewery

The casino was beautiful - it's not cheap and gaudy looking like most casinos in Vegas are. The room itself was clean enough, but the bathroom could certainly use a renovation. We had a bit of a problem with a couple in the room next door who were screaming at each other at 4am, but hey, it's Vegas, and the front desk took care of it immediately. All in all, it was a great place to stay and will be my new go-to when I'm in town.

Our stay was a short one, but the service was awesome.

We have stayed here regularly for over 15 years, it was always the "diamond in the rough" of downtown. Sadly, those days appear to be gone. The hotel has even started charging a ridiculous resort fee even though they do not have a pool, no gym, etc. The resort "amenities" include an in room fridge and in room safe (the same ones that were in the room 10 years ago! Even the staff complained about the extra fee when we were checking in.

Hotel room and staff were good. I did hear construction nearby and also some trains that go behind hotel. Could hear neighbors through adjoining door.

Little trouble with house keeping at first but corrected right away

Very impresssed will definitely stay there again affordable rooms restaurant decent priced good buffet variety of games

Great except outside light coming through shutters made it hard to sleep

Rooms 'quality' vs price: good. Needs improvement for better ventilation: casino AND lobby have a LOT of smoke, not just the smell but the actual smoke... Rooms did not have smoke smell, at least...! Close to Freemont which is fun. Casino and hotel staff were nice. They still have actual money slots which is also fun and they have newer machines too. Breakfast buffet is good. 777 Brewerie 'à la carte 'type restaurant wasn't great: greasy food, not that fresh and tap beers (home brews) too corse & after taste-y for us but nice staff. Laundry across the street in RV lot, cannot access by foot at night (risky) so a little unpractical...

Terrible: 1) long waiting. during checki in and out 2) couldn’t sleep due to vehicles noises outside all nights , 3) wi-if charges to every single devices.....

I used to stay here a lot when I would come to Las vegas. It was clean, comfortable and the staff always treated you right. The last 3 times I've stayed here, the staff is rude, incompetent and worst of all condescending. The front desk staff people treat you bad and won't help you out if something is wrong with their rooms. Twice we had issues and twice the front desk did not help at all. They wouldn't move us when our heater wouldn't work, and they're doing construction on every floor in the 03 and 05 rooms and it literally sounds like you're in the room with them, not too fun when you're trying to relax on vacay, then when they move you they move u up 3 floors in the same room so the banging and hammering is the same. The maids had to tell me that there was construction on every floor so moving up floors would do nothing, thanks to their help we moved on the other side. Why didn't Rita, the front desk clerk, do her job and move us into the right place, it took the maids to do her job for her. I will never stay here again, my family also will not stay here ever again. People who work at the front desk should help people not upset them even more. Also if your privacy is important to you, do not do not stay at this hotel. They have notes posted all over their hotel saying that they can come into your hotel room to make a "welfare check", even if the do not disturb is on the door. Wow nice, we will never stay at main street again, and that is a shame bc we love their food.

Our bed wasn't made right there were bumps lumps and wrinkles maid probably was in a rush

First time here. Very happy with staff and dealers at The tables. Room quite nice for the money. Will stay again

Nice clean room, 777 bar food and drinks were great. The lack of coffee in the morning close to the room was not ideal. To have to go to the bar and pay $2.50 as an overnight guest is excessive. Nice walkway over to the California.

Check in staff were not very friendly. They said they would call us when our room was ready, but never did.

Wonderful room clean and comfortable. Like the idea of close free parking.

Very good value! Great location, free parking, spacious room, great bed, friendly staff.

Really enjoyed my stay here. If you don't need the Vegas glitz and glamour and don't mind staying off the strip, this is a great place to be. The station hotels & Sam's Town are all Boyd Casinos, so if you get their membership card (there are 3 diff kinds; basic sign up is free), you can use it to get deals on the buffets, shops, & a few free plays for your first use. The rooms are basic but super affordable and clean. I found the beds really comfortable, and even though there is a train track close to the premises, I could barely hear it go by. The parking is FREE with validation, either with a room stay or a purchase -- so even if you have guests coming by, they can just buy something from somewhere in the casino and get their parking validated. The buffet is great - rated one of the top 5 in Vegas. Their Triple 7 pub is delicious as well! Basic wifi is free, you can upgrade for a fee to premium. The staff is very pleasant & the clientele at Main Street station seem more like regulars and not the obnoxious party types you tend to find on the main strip. There are lots of historical elements in Main Street Station - the Pullman Lounge is attached to a real train car which offers a more intimate space to sit in. Apparently, in the men's room of the Boar's Head bar, there is a piece of the Berlin Wall, so you can essentially pee on the Berlin Wall. :) Had a great time here! Am definitely coming back.

nice stay, traffic a bit noisy and so is the air conditioner.

good to be downtown for live freemont street music, while being 2 blocks away so that you get no noise & a good nights sleep. Good pub. Catch the nearby bus for the strip or airport

Just around the corner from Freemont Street. Acceptable breakfast for the price. All in all, good value for money.

Tony, thank you for your feedback and sorry for any service challenges that you encountered. We have instituted a new policy after the tragedy of 1 October, that we will perform a wellness check on rooms that decline service for two days in a row. This is a common practice that was adopted by most Las Vegas casinos in the weeks following the tragedy. Most guests have appreciated our attention to security both around the casino and on the guest room floors. Our goal is to provide all of our guests with a clean, safe, friendly and fun environment each and every time they visit.
