Main Street Station Hotel, Casino and Brewery

Really enjoyed my stay here. If you don't need the Vegas glitz and glamour and don't mind staying off the strip, this is a great place to be. The station hotels & Sam's Town are all Boyd Casinos, so if you get their membership card (there are 3 diff kinds; basic sign up is free), you can use it to get deals on the buffets, shops, & a few free plays for your first use. The rooms are basic but super affordable and clean. I found the beds really comfortable, and even though there is a train track close to the premises, I could barely hear it go by. The parking is FREE with validation, either with a room stay or a purchase -- so even if you have guests coming by, they can just buy something from somewhere in the casino and get their parking validated. The buffet is great - rated one of the top 5 in Vegas. Their Triple 7 pub is delicious as well! Basic wifi is free, you can upgrade for a fee to premium. The staff is very pleasant & the clientele at Main Street station seem more like regulars and not the obnoxious party types you tend to find on the main strip. There are lots of historical elements in Main Street Station - the Pullman Lounge is attached to a real train car which offers a more intimate space to sit in. Apparently, in the men's room of the Boar's Head bar, there is a piece of the Berlin Wall, so you can essentially pee on the Berlin Wall. :) Had a great time here! Am definitely coming back.

nice stay, traffic a bit noisy and so is the air conditioner.

good to be downtown for live freemont street music, while being 2 blocks away so that you get no noise & a good nights sleep. Good pub. Catch the nearby bus for the strip or airport

Just around the corner from Freemont Street. Acceptable breakfast for the price. All in all, good value for money.

Just stayed 1 night but the beds were so comfortable and the buffet is always good here.

Great staff, decent buffet in the morning, good location

Shower broke. They maintance guys used our towels to clean up. When I called for replacements they told me I was limited to 4 towels a day. Hotel smells like mold and smoke. They didn't clean the room daily. No room service, and if you order food from the restaurant down stairs you get charged 2 dollars.

very noisy with train and road traffic and we were on the 14th floor

I'll definitely go back to the casino. Great games, good odds, awesome brewery. Love the Victorian theme/vibe. The room itself was just ok not sure I'd stay there again

They gave us a smoking room and we are not smokers. The entire floor smelled like weed. I honestly thought weed was legal in Las Vegas.

Excellent Hotel featuring old world charm. Very clean rooms and throughout the property.

We have stayed at Main Street Station Hotel before. The hotel is quite old and in need of upgrades. The bathroom is tiny with a bathtub/shower combo and toilet squeezes in. Our room was a little more spacious but the electrical cords and outlet by the TV were exposed and hanging out of the wall. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are cheaper hotels on the Strip which are newer and nicer. We stayed here only because family was staying here.

The elevators were a bit flaky. We were on the 9th floor and pressed the button to go down. After a bit, the button light went out, but no elevator door would open. Repeat, and again the light went out. This happened several times, which was mildly annoying but not a huge problem. Aside from that, everything was great.

I found the Main Street Hotel and Casino a nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay. From top to bottom, it was clean and very well kept up. I especially liked the Garden Court Buffet because the food was good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. I also liked the fact that it was within walking distance of Fremont Street. where I spent a lot of time. I'll be staying at this location again and would also recommend others to do the same.

The hotel was old and did not have non-smoking rooms, but really the smoking rooms did not smell bad (for Vegas) and blended in with the overall place. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. The view was also very good, and getting into the parking lot and up to the room is quick. The only problems I have with the place are the following: 1. No good place to get coffee in the morning. The coffee at the kiosk was several days old warmed up, or just the container was not clean. Could not go there. 2. Brewpub service was really really slow - and seemingly for no reason. Servers were standing around but we waited (along with everyone else) forever to be seated then forever to get food. Its a shame, because the food itself and the mi 3. No hot water in the shower. This was not great but definitely helped to conserve water, I was in and out of there in a flash, and with no coffee that helped with waking up to get going at 7:30 AM. Overall mixed review. crobrew they make there were both very good. So overall

Downtown is hit and miss. Hotel is clean and beds are comfy. Short walk to Fremont.

Someone tried to steal my car from their "secured" parking structure during checkout time. When confronted he pulled a gun out. My purse was stolen out of the car. Luckily we still have the car and our lives. After decades of staying Downtown, this is the first time I've had trouble. Usually stay at the Plaza or El Cortez.

The hotel is an affordable and mediocre place to stay near Freemont Street. It's dated, even by downtown standards, and has limited amenities (no pool, spa, or sports betting). The rooms are average sized and the beds were comfortable. The one highlight for me was the staff's responsiveness. The two times that we called for extra towels or soaps, they delivered it to us within a couple minutes.

We arrive to find out when you booked a king bed you were actually just 'requesting' a king bed, but we reserved the right to give you a queen instead, so... we're giving you a queen instead. Really? Also it's not as much fun as we imagined to walk through a smoky casino full of early morning gambling addicts on our way to and from our room. Good price, great breakfast buffet.

Quiet room on the 17th floor with very comfortable beds.
