Check-in staff & players club staff was rude, unhelpful and slow. You could feel how much they hated their job or didn't want to be there. The gift shop hours are posted, but it is a coin toss if it will actually be open. The hotel itself has a cool feel to it, nice decor and clean. The pool is nothing to write home about, shared with 2 other hotels and very, very small. No pool bar either. The casino games were newer, nice variety to choose from, but didn't pay out. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, have to hover the toilet to get the door open & closed. It is just down the block from The Plaza & Fremont street. The walk was fine and it gets you off the main drag for a little bit. The buffet was average, not worth the money they charge for it. No other dining options to choose from in the hotel. This place has its pros & cons, overall, I don't think I'll book here again.

Room was great with micro fridge. Had to turn tstat temp down as items freezing. Freeway noise very close by but not real bad. Was disappointed with NO mini coffee/tea setup in room & long walk to California hotel vendors court to get coffee & pastry. Still great downtown hotel.

I stayed for three nights in total, but on the second day, the room was not cleaned and we ran out of towels. The bed was left just as it was from the night before. When I asked why, I was told it was due to a staff shortage. They also said that if I wanted the room cleaned, I needed to call housekeeping in the morning. This was the first time I had to call to request room cleaning. The room itself had been remodeled, so it was very clean and comfortable. However, the air conditioner was quite noisy, so I think having earplugs would help when sleeping. The area surrounding the hotel seemed to have some safety concerns.
