My daughter and I was traveling for her break and our plans changed so we had to stay in Las Vegas over night while we did not want to stay on The Strip we found The Fairfield and it was a hidden jewel. Quite, clean and affordable I must say it was a good night staying there for a last minute stay. I will be back to stay.
We stayed for one night during a quick stay in Vegas during spring break. Our room was spacious and the sofa bed was a nice amenity to accommodate our family of five. We also liked having the fridge, microwave, and extra TV in the sofa bed area. The room was clean and modern and we all got a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub as well. Breakfast was adequate although it was very busy.
This is a typical Fairfield. We were just passing through and didn't want to stay on the strip so this was perfect for us. Thney had a shuttle that would drop you off right on the strip, but we chose just to uber instead. Was only like $10-$15 per uber ride. Breakfast was typical and good, place was clean and quiet.
Stayed here because this is where they booked us for soccer tournament. Liked the close freeway access. Only downside was we were on the other side of the freeway from the airport and occasionally you will hear the planes, but not all night. Room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't as spacious as other Fairfield Inn's but it worked for what we were there for. The front room was angled oddly with a pull out sofa, TV & desk. Then the room had 2 double beds. Luckily the downstairs had room to spread out & several TVs. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, waffles, egg, cheese omelets, yogurt, juice coffee, etc. All the workers were friendly & nice, cleaned quickly thru breakfast as the hotel was pretty crowded. Overall a great stay. They do offer shuttles to the strip & shopping at Town Square.
I had called about 14 hours before we arrived asking questions about checking in. Since we were arriving around 3:30am the front desk agent that I had spoke to told me that I would be able to check in "early" because the Night Auditor usually rolls the day over by that time and it should be no problem. When we arrived, the night auditor was not going to check us in and was super rude upon checking in. I had told him that the front desk agent I spoke to prior to arriving had let me know that we were able to check in as long as the day was rolled over. And he made a little "humph" sound and was like "well that's night right. I would have to charge for an extra night since you're checking in super early." I'm using my sister's Marriott discount and I had asked if I needed to print it out or can I just show him through my email. He said in an annoyed voice "no, you need to print it out. Computer is over there." But didn't say where. I'm a supervisor at a hotel and a night auditor at a another hotel and never have I ever been rude like that to a guest. I'm not ever staying at this location again. I love Marriott but this experience has changed it in a negative way. I was going to book another night here but we are going to stay at a different Marriott.
We were just passing through on a drive to San Diego and this hotel was perfect for our needs. Updated lobby and common area. Large room with plenty of space for our large family. Basic but adequate. The kids loved the breakfast, too.
Last time, we stayed on the strip & found it super chaotic. This time round, we decided to stay here & the shuttle was super convenient. With kids it's like super nice to be away from the hustle of the strip & also not hv to drive. We stayed 2 nights, breakfast was good, esp the turkey sausage. Next morn, had to leave at 7 for the airport & weekend breakfast starts at 7 so didn't have any. Would stay again nxt time. Super convenient for airport drop, just at 10mins or so.. loved our stay.
I'll start with the good. This hotel is an excellent location for a cheap rate. They offer shuttle services to the strip, local shopping center, and airport. Room had a beautiful view of Luxor and Mandalay resort. Breakfast included and super friendly staff is always a plus. Bad things....Hotel only offers drop-off to airport and NO PICKUP...If I'm standing where you drop off why cant you just take me back to hotel???? One night I spilled wine on sheets so I took them off and laid them on floor in the morning to be changed.....SURPRISE!!! the housekeeper put the same sheets back on the bed!(ATTENTION HOUSEKEEPER-sheets on floor means THEY'RE DIRTY), Breakfast already stops super early but, the crew wont replenish anything roughly 45 min to closing time, just watch for yourself. 8:45 AM the items ran out and they didn't bother to replenish. As always my positives outweigh the negatives and would definitely stay here again!!!
Stayed here for one night pre-flight. The hotel is near the airport and offers airport drop off. I found my room very comfortable, very clean and had all the amenities. Staff here is excellent, very friendly and helpful. A free shuttle to the Mandalay bay is offered for those who want to go to the strip. The morning I checked out I reserved a room for my next trip.
I stayed for 2 nights and had no issues. It is located away from the strip but still close enough to get to easily. They offer free shuttle service to strip and to the airport but we had a rental car so we didn’t use it. The property was very clean and well maintained. Parking was ample and easy. Free breakfast is provided but I did not have a chance to try it. I did mobile check in and had no problem checking in upon arrival (even though it was 8am). Ileana at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
