staff very helpful at check in desk, overall a well maintained and clean property
Room was a disaster. Only stayed for a few hours and asked for my money back. Found different hotel.
The main building is a casino with shops, restaurants and a parking garage. The hotel rooms consist of 6 converted apartment blocks. The rooms are clean but have some issues with light switches, outlets and a bathroom fan that makes the noise of a landing airplane and has the capacity of a laptop ventilator. But in general we where satisfied with our 2-room suite for the price of a standard room.
Apartment like set up rooms were detached from casino. Very reasonable food prices and great entertainment, we heard Frontpage band at the lounge area. Dealers and staff very very helpful and friendly
The room was simply OK. It was clean but not fresh smelling. The staff was very unfriendly and not very helpful.
My only complaint is that there are tweekers everywhere! But it is Boulder Highway...even the cops can't get rid of them; so I don't fault the hotel for that.
I always check the covers on the bed.. The bathroom smell a lot like they don't clean it often. Needs improvement. Cheap for price. You get what you paid..
Excellent king suite. Last night of vacation as we headed home. Nice room close to many things. Parking lot was quite full because of the casino. We got food at the deli in the casino and ate comfortably in our room.
The hotel and casino are nice. HOWEVER, the Arizona Charlie's website is basic (at best) and lacks logistic info that is normally found on other hotels' sites. This is especially true for the RV resort portion of the site. As well, there is no direct line to the RV resort published on the site. One very important piece of information missing from the RV portion of the website is the list of restricted campers/vehicles. This resort does not allow cabover or truck campers. Not knowing this, we booked a room at the hotel for family members, and I attempted to register at the RV resort, only to be turned away. I noticed that there were a couple of other camping vehicles scattered throughout the hotel/casino parking lot. I ended up "dry camping" in the hotel parking lot (keeping a low profile) for free. Seems like a bad business practice to turn away my money at the RV resort because of the style of camper. If they've had earlier issues with folks in truck campers, they should deal directly with the "problem children" rather than excluding a class of paying customers. Thanks for the free night's stay, Arizona Charlie's!
Easy parking access near the room - Room was away from the casino so no noisy traffic of people walking around - security guards on bicycle 24/7 which makes one feel very comfortable. The guest wash facilities was very clean and secure as you used your key-card to go into the laundry facilities - It was well lighted and the appliances very well maintained. The parking lot also was very well kept - no trash laying around. Maid service great - We had a ground floor unit and when the people above us with children allowed the children to run and jump - I didn't mind because I know that after a long drive/travel children need to get some energy out - but this happened while I was trying to sleep and after about 20 minutes have the kids running and jumping - I decided to call the front desk as the running and jumping became more and more - the front desk told me that they would send up a security person and within 10-15 minutes - the noisy children running and jump up and down stopped - That tells me that the hotel takes complaints seriously. Great access out of the hotel parking lot onto the main street Boulder Hwy. with NO heavy traffic congestion to worry with. Easy access to several small shopping facilities/fast food/service station/etc.
just horrible customer service. nobody cleaned our room, claiming that there was a "no disturb sign" on the door. True, but the sign was there until 12:00pm. After 12, I switched it to "please clean our room", but housekeeping is making an excuse that the sign was there all day that's why they didn't clean it.
For the price it was a decent motel. It was clean and quiet.
Wife and me thought it was just gonna be the room and bathroom but it actually had a little living room with a sofa and little table chair and a tv and then it had the room and bathroom pretty nice little hotel would recomend if you dont mind the 10 min drive to the strip...
Good for the price. Would like to see an actual bar area that doesn't have gambling games at the bar. Also beds could use an upgrade. Really stiff. Other then that, good food, good location, decent price off the strip.
Horrible. We were given room 3206. Oil stains or some sort of stains all over carpet. DRUNKS lived in rooms next to us. Fighting, during night, slamming doors, waking us up, kinda scary. Worst part, is the neighbors approaching us, asking how much we paid for the night? Told them it didn't matter! Next night, the wasted neighbor staggers to us, "Can I get a light"? With cigarette dangling from his mouth! We are not drinkers, nor do we party, and I don't know if AZ Charley sticks Orbit customers in these dirty, rooms, amongst "seems residences", be cuz they are discounted, or what? Yes, first night I complained at the desk. The nice lady at the desk, offered to change the room, same building though. I should have taken her up on it. We arrived Friday night, 12:30 a.m. Drove 4 hours from CA after work, and was exhausted. Slamming doors, and being approached, with personal questions was a warning, we were too tired to heed. Just wanted out of there. Don't EVER agree to bldg 2 or 3, if you book here. Just saying.
The smoke detector was hanging from the sealing from the wires, the blower grate in the bathroom was hanging off and the tiolet overflowed. All minor fixes that would make the room really nice if they just took the time and fixed them. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
No really issues. Lack of complementary wifi was very sad. Everything else was ok
This is not a hotel it's a motel. The rooms are separate from the casino. This was not the problem. I do not know who they built this for but I'm short and the toilet paper holder hit my legs The bathroom was very tight. Not because I am overweight either. The Wi-Fi cost an extra 12 dollars a day. I used my cell phone as a hotspot and had to buy extra data because I need internet. I'm not paying anyone this price. The bed destroyed my back it really was bad I'm not a complainer but I couldn't sleep well at all. I rarely write bad reviews but this place is still giving me back problems I was unimpressed with every employee something is definitely wrong here. I can't recommend this motel to anyone. Also when I was leaving I was almost hit by a roll of carpet someone was tossing off the second floor
Fast services in the front counter very nice to talk to end this is a plus for me is not like others hotels
front desk not reALLY HELPING XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
