I had stayed here before overnight just to sleep and go and I was fine with it for that having the free breakfast and leaving so this time I made reservations in advance and paid for work. that first day work was postponed @ 5:30 am so I returned to Ventura and attempted to change booking for arrival - Cant change after Midnight still have to pay for room for that night? So I drove back out there to use the room I was forced to pay for. Check in was pleasant then I got to room, found no towels, called front desk. Two hours later still no towels! Called again, a man brought me two towels no face towels no washcloths! I told him i needed all the towels, he returned with 1 washcloth! Ok so then I go to get ice, I'm on the 4th floor BTW, Ice machine is running but no Ice, walk all the way up to the front desk, Ice machine is broken! No sign, nothing! Work wrapped up early and didn't need to stay the last night, called the night before to the front desk and told them, called Orbitz. Next morning was told Manager says I couldn't receive a refund I had to pay for room anyway! Called before midnight? No refunds!
Well our job will continue in the area for over a month, I had planned to stay there but now I'm staying down the street where they appreciate your business and not just take your money.
