I had seen negative reviews so I was expecting the place to be old and dirty, but my experience was the opposite. My unit was very nice and clean. For what I paid, I was pleasantly surprised. The man who helped us check in was very friendly and helpful. The only negatives is that they took the whole social distancing pretty far. We were there 5 nights and its pretty annoying to have to call for trash to be emptied but I guess these are the times we live in. Also the pool and hot tub are closed. I know most hotels are doing this, but it does seem like a cop out since the camp ground I stayed at was able to keep these things open and you just signed up for a time to stay away from other people. Pretty easy to manage if you want to.... The beach here is nice and accessible and I would come back.

Lakeland Village was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to say the bed was so comfortable. I have never had a bed that comfortable while traveling. The one thing that was kind of a pain, but I’m sure it was to my benefit was the elevator situation. We stayed for in the lodge on the 3rd floor and the elevator was clear on the other side of the building. Needless to say we opted for the stairs. So if stairs aren’t an option keep that in mind..

There was no internet during our stay. TV was not working either. Suite appliances were not functioning properly.

Really nice condo, great for big families. We have 4 kids and it worked perfectly for us.

I rarely write reviews and I am not that picky. We have stayed here before and always had great experiences. This was not the case this time. The hotel staff ranged from mediocre to poor and it felt like you were bothering them with your questions and request. They informed us they no longer do daily housekeeping and if you need anything to let them know. We booked a room for three and there was only two towels so I requested another towel and a shower mat, our request went unanswered. I didn’t bother asking again I justI ended up using a pool towel. The room was not maintained very well and was dirty. The patio space was big however it was very dirty as well with cobwebs, dirt and debris. The screen door was missing on one patio door and the other one was broken and just leaning against the door. There are two things about this property that are nice, there location to restaurants, casinos, and shops and they are right on the lake with beachfront access.

The worst customer service ever! I had friends and family who came from abroad and was their first time to visit US/ Tahoe so this hotel seems like a perfect place to stay so even if the room was overpriced for a 1 night stay $394 , we still took a chance hoping for a perfect weekend getaway. We arrived at the hotel at 2 pm and asked the front desk if we can check in early but we’ve been told that the room was still dirty and took my number so that they can inform us once it is ready. We waited outside the hotel hoping we wont wait that long but we’ve noticed that it was already 4 pm check in time and I still didnt hear from the hotel so came back and some guests were already frustrated as they too couldnt check in as the rooms arent clean/ready !! Final checks were still being made which is ridiculous! Our plans were already ruined that day. We finally got to check in at 5:30 and when we checked the rooms it was filthy , the bedsheets werent changed and the beds werent made!!! which made us fume even more. Most of their customers made a complain that day and were promised a 25% compensation but got nothing!! I will never ever stay nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

Private Beach is perfect. Beach furniture is available. Used to be able to bbq on the beach but they banned all charcoal grills. Propane is ok.

The resort itself was very nice, amenities were great and pools and beach was beautiful! That being said, the room we stayed in (room 111) was in absolutely terrible. The carpets were DISGUSTING, the couch and chair were both stained up, the pullout couch had 3 of the four corners missing springs from it so my daughter had to be super careful climbing into it so she didn’t fall through, one of the outlets in the bedroom was busted off and just hanging there with the wires exposed behind it, one of the sinks was clogged and it only had a tiny fridge that didn’t even keep ice cream frozen when the pictures showed a full fridge. Very, very disappointed in our room!

Loved the homey feeling! Only thing I didn’t like was that the hot water would run out.

Beautiful property, tho I wish I would have been informed housekeeping is not really available you can only ask for supplies needed.

Thank you so much for enjoying your time here at Lakeland Village. Due to the antiquity of this building we are unable to address the elevator location but we would be happy place our guests location by request to be as close to their desired amenities as possible.
