Was a very nice stay!

I feel like I was catfished. The pictures of the place look NOTHING like the room. The condo we stay in was from the 80s. Just disappointed that what I saw in the photos was nothing like the room. The only upside was the private beach.

Update photos to accurate description of rooms. My recent stay at Lakeland Village South Lake Tahoe had some discrepancies. I booked the 1bdr condo with loft. Pictures showed two twin beds and a queen bed and that’s why I booked it to sleep 4. Upon arrival, there were two queen beds instead. One of my family members had to sleep on the couch! Pls update the photos on the Orbitz website to match the appropriate room descriptions.

Construction at 8:05am and all day not anyone's idea of RELAXING, especially if you have little ones trying to NAP. Super disappointing.

Really nice for families..Kids will enjoy

They moved us to their sister property because our heater didn’t work…. The reception at this property was great. The sister property, was a bit “frosty.” The receptionist at the sister property was rude, the fireplace didn’t work and the power went out.

Very disappointed. The guests upstairs were literally hammering (or what sounds like that) from midnight until 4am and the front desk told us they couldn’t do anything about it as those people “don’t rent through them”. We were there 4 nights and could not sleep at all. The heater in our room was on its way out, and we were freezing during the snowstorm. Had to sleep with the fireplace on just to try to get some heat into bedroom. There were many things that needed updating around the property. They refused to bring bedding for pullout sofa bed because “the housekeeping had gone home”. Staff was not helpful whatsoever. Just overall very disappointing. There are much better choices in Tahoe than this place.

Great property for the money. Nice to have full kitchen and living room, not just be packed into a small hotel. Perfect location and pool/hot tub right next to the beach is awesome.

The parking indoors was nice if one can get a spot. The building was pretty well kept around. We had a mini-refrigerator which would have been disastrous had it not been freezing cold outside. The building has very thin walls so if you're not on the 3rd floor you'll be hearing a lot of upstairs noise if it's busy. We didn't mind so much but just me brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed was too loud for the downstairs neighbors.

The location is very good, same distance to west coast and east coast if you plan to explore more beautiful places along the coast. And it's close to a lot of restaurants. It only takes you couple minutes to California's delicious restaurants or to Nevada's casino's fancy restaurants. I would stay here again if go to that area. But I think I will try to request a room not facing to the street next time, so it will be more quiet.

I had seen negative reviews so I was expecting the place to be old and dirty, but my experience was the opposite. My unit was very nice and clean. For what I paid, I was pleasantly surprised. The man who helped us check in was very friendly and helpful. The only negatives is that they took the whole social distancing pretty far. We were there 5 nights and its pretty annoying to have to call for trash to be emptied but I guess these are the times we live in. Also the pool and hot tub are closed. I know most hotels are doing this, but it does seem like a cop out since the camp ground I stayed at was able to keep these things open and you just signed up for a time to stay away from other people. Pretty easy to manage if you want to.... The beach here is nice and accessible and I would come back.

Lakeland Village was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to say the bed was so comfortable. I have never had a bed that comfortable while traveling. The one thing that was kind of a pain, but I’m sure it was to my benefit was the elevator situation. We stayed for in the lodge on the 3rd floor and the elevator was clear on the other side of the building. Needless to say we opted for the stairs. So if stairs aren’t an option keep that in mind..

Thank you for your suggestions. We understand the issue with noise during the day due to our revamping which should be finished very soon!
