On site of Torrey Pines golf course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking garage nearby cost $35 per night. Clean and comfortable accommodations
Beautiful property. Nice hotel with decent rates. Great staff
We stayed four nights. You get no service in your room at all. You’re stuck with dirty linens and towels, an unmade bed and no refills for coffee supplies or waters. Furniture in the room was beat up and shabby. Breakfast not included. Pool towels weee threadbare with holes. Overall a very poor experience especially considering you are charged a daily resort fee on top of your room rate. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The location is the only thing they have going for them.
Nothing special about the property itself. The location is the main reason to stay there. Resort fee of $32 per person is offensive. The resort fee covers 2 cups of bad coffee and discounts on tennis lessons and golf pro shop?!?!? We were there for a lacrosse tournament and not playing tennis or golf.
The view
The location to the Torrey Pines golf course. And that every room has a balcony and most of them with a view of the golf course. Perfect for those who wants to play golf at Torrey Pines
Surrounding of the Hotel was very nice.
Surrounding of the Hotel very well maintained
Nice property but rude staff. Check in staff referred to our Orbitz room as the “cheapest” only to upsell us another room. Check out staff were equally rude including the manager. Rooms could use some updating.
I did not request a handicapped accessible room and was given one. The room was located next to a huge water tank and there was noise the entire night. Terrible 0 stars
very little food choices and limited amenities were available. parking and resort fees were $80 per day. i wopuld not recommend staying hear.
I was very excited to being at this property especially being a resort with a beach view. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the communication and cleanliness, first thing I noticed when I walked in was dog urine in some corners of the wall, floor, and the front concierge desk. Even after staying a few nights it was always their and never cleaned. Another thing we had was someone’s toe nails on the floor in the room when I let the front desk know they sent someone right away and cleaned it. Lastly the front desk was always trying to charge me for the room, and when I checked out there was also room tax added on I had to explain multiple times to take it off because I paid threw Orbitz. Overall the view was amazing but that’s all I was happy with just didn’t feel like 4 star resort at all. Also $33 a night to self park just excessive, that’s the same to park in NYC.
The parking lot is convenient, the surrounding yards are peaceful and nice.

Dear Christine, Thank you for choosing our Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. At present, we are in agreement with our guests who have overwhelmingly stated their preference to not have hotel staff entering their rooms during the pandemic. As such, housekeeping is now granted through specific requests. I regret if this was not clearly communicated to you. Also, it seems you faced some housekeeping lapses. We have shared your feedback with the Housekeeping Supervisor who has taken proper action to ensure these missed opportunities are not repeated. We hold ourselves to very high standards and should you stay with us again, we believe you'll see that this was an isolated incident. We would welcome another opportunity to host you and provide you with the seamless and perfect stay you deserve. Regards, Alyssa Turowski, General Manager
