Beautiful setting and room was on 2nd floor one of the clean air rooms - smelled like sewage when we checked in so I opened the doorwall to air it out and the smell went away. It was clearly coming from the toilet. We overlooked it, kept the doorwall open.

Beautiful spot. Perfect location for the wedding I was attending at Torrey Pines Lodge. Just be aware that there is a $36/day resort fee on top of the room charge. And $40/day for self-park.

Out of date and lazy upkeep.
Overall, pretty disappointed. Check in was easy and public spaces in the hotel are nice and clean, albeit a bit out of date. Room felt a bit dingy and dark and in need of an update. Paint was chipped, wallpaper was peeling, door handle on bathroom was broken, shade on the lamp was comically lopsided, only one coffee pod, list goes on. One of us showered and noticed the bath mat had a large brown stain. Called front desk to get one sent up. Then noticed that we were only given 3 bath towels even though the reservation was made for 4 people. Bath mat was brought to room, but for some reason had to call back next day to get 4th bath towel. Seems like more money should be spent on making a more pleasant stay.

There were multiple safety issues. A fire extinguisher was missing in garage, the slider door did not have the secure locking device promised, wires handing down in one elevator, elevator past its inspection date and difficult to read fire escape map. In my room the blow dryer was sticky and had other peoples hairs sticking to it.

Great location if you are planning to play golf. Valet parking staff were excellent in customer service. Front desk staff were friendly. Room: shower head with green stuff on it. Walls on the bathroom with pink stuff on it. Rooms are regular. Pool was so cold and not heated and looks really old. Nothing to do inside the hotel.

Stayed couple of nights. Power went off. Hilton doesn’t have a backup generator. Slept all night without power. No hot water shower. Shower didn’t have hot water. Complained to staff but they were very rude and wasn’t helpful. Went to my Friend’s house for shower. Managers were not available to talk to. Will never stay here again. I will never recommend. Terrible service.

Comfortable and beautiful hotel!
The hotel is beautiful and overlooks the beautiful Torrey Pines golf course. The staff is very welcoming and the décor is beautiful and well thought out. Know that the resort fees a bit steep and additional to the hotel.com payment and parking is $40/night. If you are prepared for that, there will no worries. The gym facility is very robust and the pool was highly used. As a resort, there are no near by restaurants or shopping areas.
