Definitely not worth thev $140. Could have stayed at a holiday inn for that price. And only pancakes for breakfast. No thanks

The room was okay the smell of air freshener was terrible. That was all you could smell.

You get what you pay for. I didn't pay much, so my expectations weren't high. Service was good. Room was clean & comfortable, but the door safety lock and the close hook in the bath were broken.

The room was clean and nice. The hotel helped out when our car broke down and had to be serviced. Great value for the money. Right off the interstate and close to food, etc.

For the price, this hotel was very clean, the staff was all nice, breakfast was good, and it was easy to access downtown activities

The hotel was neat and clean, the room was nice size and breakfast was good. A few more choices maybe would be nice i.e. Like yogurt. Waffle and pancake machines were fun to use. We had plenty of towels. Over all a good experience plus a great value. Thanks

The room smelled like smoke and all my clothes and everything I had in the room smelled like smoke. I would never stay there again.

Its been a great week and plan to think about the great stay in the future. :)

Our experience was top-notch! Thank you for everything!

Stayed here for work. I Would do it again for sure.

Excellent price, very good location. Room was small. Staff not especially friendly.

We had made reservations at the Econo Lodge on Taney Street(near Armour Road and 210 in Kansas City) for Throttlefest 2013. Good thing we didn't spend a whole lot of time there. When we first arrived, we waited at the front desk for approximately 10 minutes before the desk clerk exited the elevator. He was in NO hurry to get behind the counter. Once he got there, he picked up the phone and requested someone join him so he could show them how to check us in. We waited. A young girl came bouncing down the stairs and around the counter. Immediately, we could tell that they'd just been together by the giggles and glances at each other. So, we get our room keys and go on about our business. My husband and I get into our room and realize someone else has already checked into that room, Back to the front desk. He told me I was wrong, that there was nobody else in that room, but gave us another room anyway. The door to the second room opens with no effort, and won't shut and latch. Husband goes to front desk and comes back with manager(?) and desk clerk. Manager ignores that we are there and proceeds to give desk clerk a lesson on shims and how to fix the door. I interrupt and ask about a different room. "OH yes absolutely!" he says. I tell him this is the second room and why and he tells desk boy that we get 20% discount. Third room was ok, except the pillows are barely big enough to fit an adult head on. By the way, when we get to the 3rd floor to our room, the same girl from before exits another room with a cleaning cart. Continental breakfast consists of cereal and week old pastries. So when checking out, my husband asks about the 20% discount and the girl at the desk says "Oh I can't do that here. You have to contact whoever you booked the room through." HORRIBLE!

We had an average experience at this hotel. It was pretty much what you would expect for the price. The location isn't great, but does get you close enough to the downtown area without shelling out a lot more money. Good if you are on a budget.

Good value for the money. Nice rooms for a motel in this price range.

Great stay, Frienly Staff, great breakfast bar Great Experience.

My room never was clean in 2 days bad smell dirty sheets no good room service I told them 3 times and they never came to clean room worst hotel experience ever at a hotel

This was by far the smallest room we'd had in our two week car trip around the US, with no carpeting. On the one hand, veneer flooring probably is cleaner than carpet, but it wasn't very comfortable - I wish I'd had slippers! The most frustrating was that the wireless internet did not work for our mac book, ipad or iphone - and it was clear that staff couldn't do anything about it (the equipment and service the hotel uses was the problem, not staff). We were unhappy about that since we expressly wanted wi-fi, were told we would get it, AND, every other hotel, even tiny local ones, had wi-fi that worked.

Easy access to freeway from hotel to get to Worlds of Fun and baseball stadium. Rooms were clean. Perfect place to stay for a short trip and won't be in the room that much. We have five in our family so we got adjoining rooms and that worked great. They do not have a pool.

Noisy. Stains on hallway carpets. Very small rooms. Black mold spots in shower. Stains on room carpet. A/C either too cold or does not come on. Not worth $66 per night. Continental breakfast very limited.

The hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the air conditioner was too big for the room. The compressor kept kicking off and on every 5 minutes and kept me up most of the night.
