Bed was comfortable Room was very clean friendly staff.

Very accommodating with bringing my two dogs. Got the room at the very of end of the hall, which was nice. Enjoyed having the pet corral to where dogs could go off leash and be confined, but was sad to see other pet owners don’t pick up after their dogs. There were no bags provided, so perhaps that could add to or, but responsible pet owners DO pick up their dogs poo. Breakfast was okay, waffle & pancake machines as well as cereal and rolls/muffins, juice, milk & coffee.

Location was close to down town. We stayed for 5 nights along with 4 other families. Rooms don’t have a closet for clothes. The room on the first night had broken safe and no rod for hangers. So they moved us to a new room. Irrespective the rooms had a musty smell. On the 4th day, our room was not cleaned. All the front desk had to offer were towels and a sorry. No offer to make up bed or take garbage out. On the 5th day they were out of bread and pastries for breakfast. The front desk bluntly told they were out of bread. Breakfast as it is is very basic, bread cereal pastries and waffles( pancake maker not working). No pool. The property has multiple entrances and no security badging does no work at any of entrances. Anyone can come in and leave. I bet the La Quinta next door has better facilities.

Good value for an over night quick stay. Friendly staff. Clean older facility.

the price was great central to where I wanted to be.

Hotel staff were great. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown KC but just across the river in North Kansas City. We thought the room could have been a little cleaner. Overall it was good for the quick trip and stay in KC.

This was the first time I have ever had to ask for a refund at a motel/hotel. Upon entering the property, I noticed a strange chemical smell. We waited a long time to check in. The hotel clerk was very nice but he was the only person working and clearly overwhelmed. When we got to our room, we first had issues with our keycards. The room looked clean enough, but it smelled so bad (like horrible artificial cleaning chemicals.) We asked for a new room, but when the elevator smelled 20x worse (imagine the worst body odor/ urine smell combined with floral cleaning chemicals) and our new keycards didn’t even open the door, we gave up. Thankfully the clerk was willing to give us a refund. He told my husband that other people have had reactions to what they think is their air freshener. (Why do they keep using it???) Anyways, spend more money and stay elsewhere.

EconoLodge isn't a luxury brand, but it definitely provided a good value for the money. The staff were really friending and accommodating, making the stay as peasant as it could possibly be. The breakfast was okay - not any protein options (aside from milk), but they offered both a pancake and waffle maker.

Front entrance unwelcoming. (Needs to be swept/cleaned.) Dark in 1st floor hallway and room. No coffeemaker/clock radio. No electrical outlet available at desk in room.

Crappy beds, gross bathroom, made my vacation miserable

Definitely not worth thev $140. Could have stayed at a holiday inn for that price. And only pancakes for breakfast. No thanks

The room was okay the smell of air freshener was terrible. That was all you could smell.

You get what you pay for. I didn't pay much, so my expectations weren't high. Service was good. Room was clean & comfortable, but the door safety lock and the close hook in the bath were broken.

The room was clean and nice. The hotel helped out when our car broke down and had to be serviced. Great value for the money. Right off the interstate and close to food, etc.

For the price, this hotel was very clean, the staff was all nice, breakfast was good, and it was easy to access downtown activities

The hotel was neat and clean, the room was nice size and breakfast was good. A few more choices maybe would be nice i.e. Like yogurt. Waffle and pancake machines were fun to use. We had plenty of towels. Over all a good experience plus a great value. Thanks

The room smelled like smoke and all my clothes and everything I had in the room smelled like smoke. I would never stay there again.

Glad you and your canine pals enjoyed the stay. We'll look into a mount for doggie bags.
