Nice hotel but lacking things. No trash can anywhere in the unit, $4. welcome water after the big price, super super loud wedding till 10 on Sunday night, glad we didn't have a room next to it. No parking anywhere nearby and hotel parking is $40. a night so that's way inconvenient. Fun looking poolside but we stayed out because it is full of kids.

I was frankly expecting more from The Waterfront resort. The pool was filthy. It had toilet paper and straws inside of it. I’ve stayed at many resorts that were frankly busier and none of them were this dirty. Our room was sprayed with a strong deodorant that triggered my asthma. The pool side and the jacuzzi were closed.

This place was great. Good value. Clean. Excellent location. Lots of dining, drinking, shopping options in the hotel and surrounding area. Staff very accommodating. Had an early check-in and late check-out with no hassle. Parking will cost though but that’s not uncommon in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a Great Hotel Loved It... Very Clean and New and loved the Restaurant

It would have been great to know up front what the entire cost of the hotel stay would be. Paid over $1300 up front and before i was able to check in i was charged an additional $500 at the hotel for incidentals, which i wont get back for 3-5 days AFTER my trip. It would have also been great to know that the ONLY parking option for the hotel was valet at a rate of $39 per night. Seriously?! I had to pay $200 for parking AT MY HOTEL! We're already at $700 that was part of the budget for the trip that was immediately gone. That is insane. Room was nice but the only outlet near the bed was part of a lamp and during our stay we found that the outlet had separated from the lamp at some point and was now just loosely shoved back in place with electrical tape wrapped around the outlet to give it a tighter fit (I did capture pictures of it due to the hazardous nature). If it's not up to AZ building code, it definitely isn't compliant with CA code! Would like to give an opportunity for some reasonable concession to be made before escalating to social media and the ROC, pictures and all.

Location was perfect. Easy access to beach, pier, and restaurants/bars. Great ocean views from room.

The guy who checked is in was wonderful. Great experience

Location to beach & Pier & main Street was great. Beautiful pictures thru out the hotel.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Spend the money! worth every scent!

The place itself is amazing. Obviously great location. The staff, not so much. The people that clean the rooms and the rest of the place were very nice and friendly. Everybody else that works there, not so much. It seemed like it was an inconvenience for them to help in any way. Very rude and had the "I'm better than you" vibe about them. For that reason, I would never go back.

It was a very nice hotel with all the amenities one could want. It was also in a nice location to go and see other things in the greater LA area.

The only drawback was the pool cushions were filthy. There was catsup, oil and other strains on the cushions. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT!

Prime location. Friendly staff. Pool stayed open late for the kids. Only issue is that I had was that my room overlooked one of the pools and the stench of chlorine occupied my room. Besides that, great property. I'd come back again.

I loved everything..All workers helped me with everything that I needed help with. Very nice and top of the line resort..My kids enjoyed the swimmimg pool with slides. I saw all kids were happy with that..

when you check in at 11pm and they still charge you $30 for the resort fee.. FAIL

Loved the location. The property is updated as clean. Great for families or for couples. Good food and bars. Will go back soon for another visit.

The service at the pool was very slow then I got charged for a few more tabs then I should have. The towel guy was not very helpful I asked for chairs and he said he didn’t have any and when I went up to my room I saw a lot on the side so I went back to him and said what about those chair he said oh I am so sorry forgot they were there. Also when we arrived vallet guy took forever. Just felt the service was not really good for the price I paid to stay there.
