Beach House has everything we need. With oue oxean front view, we feel lije qe are on a cruose. Love ot!

I liked the Tiki Bar and the Porch restaurant all though meal selections were a bit limited, the wait staff was great, super friendly and often times understaffed so we made sure to tip them well.. I DID NOT like the pool, it was often not well cared for. A person had vomited stomach contents( not just water) in the pool. We reported it. 20 minutes later their resolution was to get the net and attempt to scoop out the vomit and then just shock the pool. Needless to say, I, nor my partner or our kids would use the pool after that. The room was very dull which is livable but not much privacy for a family of 4 with pre teen kids. The bathroom had no ventilation, so that once a shower was taken it was wet in there, the ceiling would accumulate water and then end up dripping on us. The towel holder kept falling off the wall. For some reason the maid staff kept giving us 3 bath towels when there were four of us staying so we repeatedly had to keep asking for more as well as only 2 hand towels and face cloths. Perhaps it was assumed we would share these items but not everyone does that. its unfortunate because this hotel could be so great, I think they need to seriously consider a major modernization face lift. The location is best on the beach!

The tub didn't appear to have been cleaned and previous occupant left gold Bobby pins on floor, made me question whether room was vacuumed. Overall experience was Awesome. Look forward to staying again in near future. Great staff and entertainment.

Liked how close it was to the beach, shopping, and the live music each night at the Tiki Hut. The hotel room we booked stated it had a resort view when booking but were given a view of the parking lot. The picture shows as though there is a balcony, but only on the front ones is there actually a balcony. They are strict about only smoking at the Tiki Hut, so dont try to smoke anywhere else on the property. Make sure if your reservation includes breakfast, that you get the vouchers. We were not given them initially and received a bill of over $40.00 for a buffet breakfast for 2 (good food overall, but pricy unless you can eat a lot at breakfast time). Hotel key quit working, went to the desk, she didnt replace the card and just did something on the computer, gave the key back, and it still didnt work. Go back down and then had to wait approximately 15 minutes for maintenance to show at about 930-10 at night. The battery had died in the lock. Next morning we wake up about 630 to no water, main line broke, but i had signed up for text alerts and didnt receive one until 2 hours after we had already found this out. The room was a decent size for 2 people, but the details were more than disappointing. The hanging rack was off level by about 4 inches. The caulk in the tub was cracking and peeling away from the tub. Other design ideas were strange as well. Overall, loved the area, but will not be staying here again.

Really like how close to the beach it is... just a few steps out and you are on the sand ! Don't bother to pay the extra for the oceanview though, There are no balconies to sit out on and the music from the bar below is really loud till 10 pm every day.

The hotel itself was quite average. Beds are very unconformable, too soft and AC is a little bit noisier than usually. The buffet breakfast was the same for the whole 5 days stay. I would advise to add some vegetables. Hotel is near the beach which is one of the best parts of it. Lots of places to play volleyball or just sit and enjoy live music from the hotel restaurant. Staff service was below average, they made us wait for more than 15 min to just come back and say that they run out of ice cream. During our buffet breakfast one day they would bring us two tea pots another day just mugs with hot water, no constancy at all. I felt like those who purchased buffet breakfast was not served properly. The hotel has a nice pool and lots of towels which was really great. I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate our late check out request. Two water stations in the lobby with fruits in it was a nice touch to the old hotel. If you ask me whether or not I am coming back, I would probably say no. But Hilton Head itself is amazing, I did horseback riding and went to the movies (their family style cinema is very nice). My advise is go out and don't eat at the hotel, there are plenty of nice places there to dine.

Two issues. We were in a handicap accessible room, which was fine. However, the shower was open and drained all the way to the middle of the bathroom which was somewhat inconvenient and messy The Wi-Fi was just okay, not as strong as I would expect in a resort area.

The location was perfect and you really didn't have to leave the resort at all. We had a problem with the first room given to us. It was on first floor, window faced the carport where you could hear and see people coming and going - but it was also a room for disabled persons. My gf and I have been spending a million hours at a nursing home with a relative and this room just didn't sit right with us. We asked for something different and they did accommodate us quickly but it did cost us a pretty penny more to do so - but we had to do it. The food and beverages were reasonably priced if you don't charge to your room. The Tiki Bar has live music every day from lunchtime until about 10pm. EVERY band/musician we heard was great. It was awesome to hang there or be in the pool and hear great tunes all day long. Pool area was large but as always, not enough chairs. Too many people reserving chairs by putting a towel on them but never actually using the chair. This should have been policed as we did see some older people with no where to go. The beach is pretty much just resort patrons - the public beach was just north of us and way more crowded. One day the jellyfish were bad and everyone got stung, including us. We stayed for 4 days but our room was only service on 1 day. No big deal for us though. AC worked great - shower was nice. I liked how they have fresh water infused with fruit everywhere. A nice resort.

The Beach house resort is always my favorite place to stay with friends or family.....and we are LOCAL!

The gentleman at check in out us in a handicap room (neither of us are handicapped) and the room was literally next to the elevator and ice machine. We barely slept at all because we heard very beep and chime of the elevator and people constantly filling up their ice buckets. The bed had hairs under the covers and the room was not as clean as you would expect. The pool was also super dirty with hair and dirt and leaves and stuff floating all around. Was a reasonable price this tome of year and right on the beach but otherwise not great.

The pool and beach were easily accessible and clean. Staff was all friendly, and the food was delicious.

I liked the Tiki Hut and that the property was in the beach

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location with great activities, a great pool and beach, a nice restaurant and an excellent tiki bar. The hotel pool was closed for an evening and the entire following day for maintenance. The hotel did grant our with for a one hour extension on our check out time, but still charged us the $20 resort fee for the day the pool was closed. The restaurant food was good. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly, but slow, and possibly inexperienced. All around, it was a great stay, with a few areas that could improve. We would stay again!

Nace hotel, staff super friendly . My kids love it.
